I’m so grateful I found this salon! Asia is literally the best stylist, I have super curly hair so I’m always weary of trying out new stylists but she was incredible. Shes incredibly well versed in styling curly hair, and maintenance! She gave me the exact cut I wanted and was able to color my hair exactly the way I wanted with no damage at all!

She gave me honest advice on what’s good for my hair type without buying me into making an unnecessary product purchase or getting a treatment I don’t need. I can genuinely claim that I’ve discovered my ideal professional!Destiny (from desk receptionist) gave me a cordial welcome. WOW, I am blown away at how beautifully Jessica cut my hair! My experience from the shampoo with wonderful scalp massage to cut and blow dry was phenomenal! This is the BEST salon I have been to in florida! I am a customer for life! If you want a GREAT experience, go to Shampoo salon.

I cant say enough about this place. Ive had to switch around with hairstylists due to schedules and I promise you they are ALL top notch. Interestingly, each of them has been there for years so Ive never seen turnover- at all. That says a lot. I found this place because I loved someones haircut & asked who did their hair and they said they used Suzanne at Shampoo. I hunted her down and that was like 5 years ago. I LOVE Suzanne and all the hairdressers at this place.Prices are absolutely fair.Cant recommend them enough.Not the best photo of me but sure shows you how she does my hair cut and color!!

Asia knew exactly what hair updo I had in mind to attend a gala and Laura just knew what haircut and color would frame my face perfectly. My Daughter, Amanda has gone to Loan for years. A couple of years ago I asked her to please get me in to see her for a haircut. I immediately loved her perky and friendly attitude. Best of all though, she is so very talented. Her haircuts are out of this world. She is very knowledgeable about her profession. I immediately felt like I had known her for years. I have never had so many compliments on my hair. Now, we have gotten my Daughter, Melanie in there as well. She looked like a million dollars when she came out. All of my friends are getting Loan’s number. Be prepared for some busy days in 2024!!! They will be forming a line and I know each and every one of them will be smiling when they walk out. This was my first time to this salon as I am visiting from out of state. Jessica was my stylist and did a fantastic job. I would recommend her highly.My only concern is with the salon itself and their pricing policies. The day before my haircut I stopped by and got a quote of $65. The day of my haircut I was told my haircut was $78. Looking at the itemized bill it was $65 for the haircut, $10 for hot tools (flatiron), and a $3 charge for business increase. Add ons which are not spelled out upfront are a questionable and somewhat dishonest business practice in my opinion.

It has taken me a bit to write a review but I definitely had this on my list of to-do’s. This place is amazing! The service, the place, how you feel while you are there. I was there for a 4 hour highlight session with Jessica. I have long hair that I have been dying dark myself for many years so going in, I didn’t know what to expect. The result was amazing, my hair felt healthier after being bleached which is insane and we got to a beautiful copper color for highlights which is what I wanted. I showed Jessica some pictures & she knew exactly what I was going for. I have received so many compliments on my hair and I feel beautiful & confident. Even the process to schedule the appointment was amazing. They ask to see a before pic & a pic of inspiration so they can provide a quote before you get there…so smart! Every other salon waits to quote you while you are already there & in the seat! I will continue coming back here & I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

Long overdue shout out to Laura K! Ive been going to Shampoo the Salon since I moved here, over a year ago. First off, I have psoriasis and Laura has always been respectful and amazing at adressing my hair and scalp needs. Today, I finally had the guts to try a whole new hair style and Laura gave me an amazing cut and set me up with some high quailty sea salt spray. Sending the pictures in to Asia, beforehand was a big help to her and I. She knew what I was looking for and I knew what I I was somewhat looking for instead of going in blind like normal. Asia did an amazing job styling my hair. She was great about pointing that what I picked was a lot of upkeep and not with my arthritis and recommended a similar look with less upkeep. I’m goin back in 2 weeks for coloring. I would highly recommend this salon. I found my Stylist and salon after 5 years of moving to Tampa. I will be going back for all my hair needs.

Suzanne did an amazing Botox Hair Treatment for me which is relatively new to the Tampa Bay Area. It is similar to Keratin, but conditions and smooths the hair cuticle. Further, this treatment does not contain any strong or harmful chemicals. My hair looks and feels great. Suzanne is also very good at cutting and styling.Further, Laura Fallon is literally the best hair colorist I’ve ever met. I’ve been going to Laura for 24+ years. I’ve followed her everywhere. Not only is she amazing with color, she is clear and unwavering with her color advice. She knows without a doubt what will work for your hair, and what would be a bad or unnecessary for your hair type. As far as color correction, she’s a home run. My daughter saw Laura in need of color correction -Done! We will never stray from Laura, she’s the best!

I have appointments with Suzanne every 10 weeks or so, and she always does an amazing job. I get full service with her, which includes bleaching and toning my roots, doing the Malibu treatment, and a blow out. It also comes with shampooing and conditioning services (my favorite part because of how relaxing it feels). I always come out looking and feeling like a brand new person with soft, silky hair. Suzanne brought me from a medium reddish-brown to a blonde through meticulous, careful highlighting progressing to a full head to avoid damaging my hair follicles all in one go. Thanks to her, my hair (despite the frequent bleaching) still feels soft and healthy! Suzanne is friendly and will have conversation, but she isnt overly chatty, so she is perfect for introverts like myself. Please book with Shampoo the Salon! You wont regret it, and youll look amazing!

SO glad I found this place!!!! My first visit was for an appointment to style my hair as I was Officiating a wedding. Lauren K and Mimi did a wonderful updo So I set another appointment for my color. I had been going somewhere else for sometime For my color. I had Lauren K and Mimi again. They did such a wonderful job, they were so personable, and the color was the best I’ve had in years. My son came up for A haircut and he was very pleased as well. You can tell that everyone that works there cares about what they’re doing and you can tell that their clientele have been coming there for a while. I’ve just finished my third visit with Lauren K and Mimi and I could not be more excited about coming back. I highly recommend a visit to the salon.

My girl, Loan, who is a master stylist at this beauty salon does it again.Needed my hair done and notified Loan in the shortest time frame possible - shame on me. She did her best to get me in while working with both of our schedules, including my long commute to Tampa. When I made my appointment I asked who was the best with un-natural hair color? I was told Laura K. I had colored my hair with a semi-permanet purple hair color 6 monts ago for an event. What I used was for hair that had not been bleached. While it eventually ended up turning into purple highlights, I could not donate my hair like I had intended. While it was not ruined in the usual sense, it was ruined where I could not donate it. After Laura K evaluated my hair, it was determined there would be no guarantee the color would come out, Unlike, placing color in, a test strip could not be performed. So i decided to cut my losses and just have my hair cut. (pun intended)I couldnt be happier,. My hair is very thick, I need something easy, so I can pull it out of my face while I work. I also wanted to maximize the amount I can donate. Laura was able to provide ALL of my requests with the cut. I have recived MANY compliments on my new hair style.The salon has great lighting, modern yet, comfortable. Prices are reasonable, especially for the high quality service they provide. Everyone is so easy to talk to.Would I go back again?? Duh!?? YES!! without hesitation. Would I refer friends & family?
