    This may be my first review left anywhere…this salon is That good.Professional, well-versed on current techniques & trends with stylists that have the experience and skills to execute them. Honest about their expected results for the my hair when I show an idea.They will help me define when I want a change - without doing some jarring, large,“taking-a-chance-that-I’ll-like-it”.(I most likely will not! lol)🙂Knowledgeable with kindness. Not rushed, yet efficient.The business runs like clockwork, in a good way. Well-scheduled, clean, stocked, work as a team, phone is always answered, etc.It’s obvious the owner(s) care about their salon.Trendy minus the snooty. They include you, you don’t feel you’re invading their space.Pricing as expected, in line with local market.Totally worth it!! 🙂 ~Stephanie R.

    This place is great! The receptionist is always friendly and helps you schedule seamlessly any time you call. They’re not arrogant if/when you have to reschedule like other salons. I stumbled upon it and had a color correction consultation on the spot and the stylist, Pammy was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She literally nailed the color correction and I’ve never been to happy to find someone so skilled and that understood what I was looking for after so many bad experiences with other hair stylists. I highly recommend her, and the salon. The vibe is relaxing, friendly, clean and they sell high end hair products. They also specialize in alternative hair coloring, they did an amazing job with my teenage daughter’s raccoon tail over pink highlights. They’re great!

    I don’t normally get my hair done, but honestly it was time, and I’m so glad I did! Becka was so kind. She asked me questions about what I wanted and made any adjustments I wanted too. I feel like that’s really saying something, because every haircut that I’ve ever had I never felt comfortable enough to really speak up and usually just hope for the best, but Becka made it to where I felt comfortable enough to actually make suggestions. I love the cut, and she did an amazing job! Lara, who washed and styled my hair also did an amazing job and was super sweet. When you can gush about and share pictures of your pets, you know you’ve found a great place! Thanks Becka and Lara ❤️

    Thank you Becka and staff at ShearArt South! You made the morning of Olivia’s wedding so special. Your talent with hair and makeup is amazing and everyone pampered us like a well oiled machine.     I recently moved from NYC and had been going to the same stylist for 10yrs so I was very hesitant on getting my hair done somewhere new, thankfully I found this salon. Becka and her team were attentive to everything I was aiming for and did an excellent haircut and very natural looking balayage. You can tell the staff here love what they do and have significant experience and talent so happy I found my go-to hair salon in FL!

    I cannot brag more about pami!For once in a salon I felt heard about what I wanted. She was so confident about my hair goals that I was so excited for the outcome as well and honestly she nailed it! I will be coming back every time I need my hair touched. Plus the atmosphere here is amazing. Very pleasant experience

    I got one of the best haircuts ever from Alannis at Shear Art. It was the first time at this salon but I’ve already booked my next appt. Alannis is a very skilled stylist and really listened to me explain how I style my hair, what I liked about it/didnt like etc. before we even got started. I also liked her technique when she cut and then blew out my hair—the style still looked great the next day. Also received a lot of compliments at work! Cant wait to go back. 😁

    I’ve gotten my haircut here a few times. First with Taryn and a few times with Becka. They helped me discover my curly hair! Every single person you work with here is absolutely incredible. Love love love this salon!!!

    We love Taryn! She’s amazing and an expert at air cuts. She takes her time and always makes sure you leave feeling like a million bucks!! She’s also amazing at color, doesn’t make a mess and color matches really well. We recommend her 10/10

    My daughter and I came in the other day, and I must say from the stylists to the receptionist, they’re all absolutely FABULOUS. Everyone was so sweet and kind and her hair came out WONDERFULLY! Definitely will be coming back. Great way to end our night 🥰

    I went as a walk in and got Paloma as my stylist, she did such an amazing job with my hair that she has had me continuously coming back to get my hair styled from her. Shes very friendly and professional and I can tell she loves her work and wants you to love your hair leaving.Definitely a stylist worth going to!

    Becka is literally the best!! They are so inviting, all of the staff is wonderful and it’s such a clean and lovely facility.I’ve had some haircut/color NIGHTMARES and Becka really shaped my hair perfectly.She takes the time to talk to you and do a consultation (every time!!) and she is truly interested in what you have to say.I literally recommend this place to everyone !!

    At first, Shear Arts Salon appeared to be out of my budget. I sat down with one of their well-seasoned hair stylists and told her what I wanted (to remove the red tones in my hair and go icy ash blonde), and she kindly told me that her expertise was out of my budget. Instead of turning me down, she suggested that I consult with one of her residents (a program where a stylist can train up their rankings) and recommended Paloma. Happy to work with a student, I agreed, and after receiving my treatment I realized I made the right decision.Paloma immediately clicked with me. She seemed very capable and straightforward, taking my reference picture and immediately describing what process she would go through for the transformation. I had brought the same picture to other stylists, only to receive very…threatened reactions. Some told me it would take three sessions, cost over 600-700 dollars, require touch ups, the works. Paloma got it done in one session, and it’s EVEN BETTER than the picture I showed her. Not only was her work painless and relaxing (I have a very sensitive scalp), but the results were stunning. The color is soft and well blended, but still dynamic and full. All of this for below 200 (of course, I wouldn’t expect her prices to remain the same for too long). Definitely my new colorist, and I’m looking forward to seeing what she can do with a haircut.

    Came here for the first time and saw Ming, absolutely loved her work. I went from blonde back to deep brown and she was so kind and knowledgeable. My hair looks fantastic and I will be back to see her!

    Kelly S is amazing! I have been getting my hair colored by her for years! I love her so much and she does such great work on my hair! The salon itself is very chic and clean. Plus they offer you a glass of wine, cant beat that! 😉😍 100% recommend this place. I always walk out with a smile. 😊

    My usual stylist is out on maternity leave, so had to try someone new, which can always be scary. Luckily I had a great experience with Katie, and looked forward to seeing her again, when she too left for maternity leave. But do not despair, lol, Tiffany to the rescue! She was fantastic and blew me away with the color she was able to achieve in my hair

    Ming did an amazing job. Very nice atmosphere and everyone super friendly. Quality work and she did exactly what I wanted! Very very happy. It was my first time so I was nervous as to what to expect but it was a very pleasant experience.

    I just moved from Denver and had to find a new stylist which is never fun. Thankfully I booked with Jason and he made my eat damaged hair look beautiful with a much needed cut. He is so friendly and fun to chat with and I will definitely be a regular!

    This salon is great! The atomosphere is always welcoming and accommodating. Becka Bradshaw is truly one of a kind! im so thankful to have found someone with the skill and willingness to help me go through the numerous changes that I love to do with my hair. I would never think about going anywhere else! The salon is always clean and everyone is friendly.

    I had visited shear arts for the first time and I had the pleasure of having Taryn as my hairstylist ! She is the sweetest person I have ever encounter! She took really good care of my curls, I would never let anyone else touch my hair! I was obsessed with my haircut!

    Becka Bradshaw is AMAZING! Such a beautiful person inside and out, she really cares about her art and truly wants to give you what you want. Love my baby highlights and cut! Definitely recommended! (P.S she does fashion shows in big cities and teaches for Redken) love it.

    Just moved back to Tampa and checked this place out on a reccomendation. Fantastic group of artists and one of the most relaxing and comfortable salon experiences Ive had. Cant reccomend enough if youre looking for vibrant or natural color. Alannis is fantastic in all categories!

    Great experience and service. Coy did my hair and I absolutely love my color. I have really long, thick, dark curly hair. He lighted it around my face without damaging it and then put a very pretty gloss in. I am extremely picky about my cut and color and I will go back to Coy every time.

    Kerstin gave me the best hair cut of my entire life, and no Im not kidding. Fun Fact: she is a fan of potatoes, and you can call her Kerti. She understands parking anxiety, and loves cats. And no, Im not making this up. Ask for Kerstin, you get a 10/10.
