    Made my first appointment recently and was fortunate to get it with Liane. Over the years Iā€™ve dreaded getting a new barber because it seems it takes them a few cuts to give me a perfect style. Not so with Liane she took a look at me ask what I had in mind and she went to work and I walked out of there proud of my great haircut and style. Yeah you can get cheaper cuts elsewhere and thatā€™s what you get a cheap cut. Cambridge is quality I noticed others finished cuts and they were all great. Liane is my go to barber now.

    Iā€™ve been getting my haircut by Rey for the last 4 years and my god, he changed my life. The last haircut I got 4 girls Ive never met complimented my cut, he will take you from a 4.5 to an 8. Overall the environment at Cambridge shave is 10/10, cool people, and itā€™s located in a great area. So if youā€™re looking for your wife or girlfriend to look at you with a spark in their eye again I highly recommend you see Rey.

    This place is absolutely amazing! This is the best haircut I have ever received in my life! ZĆ¼ is absolutely phenomenal he looked at the reference photo and write away he went to work. He showed me different ways I can style it for different occasions as well as the different products he used to get the right texture and volume. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

    *Update: The owner of the shop contacted me shortly after this review to make things right and I really appreciated his attentiveness to the clientele that visit his shop. I will definitely be giving this barbershop another shot following my discussion with Sam.This place was underwhelming. For a premium price I expected a premium service which I didnā€™t feel I received.To start the haircut was fine/good. Josh took his time and gave me a full scissor cut. I hadnā€™t had a haircut in a while nor did I have a super clear vision as to what I wanted from the cut but was hoping to receive more guidance than I did.Where the shop fell short mostly was in the service. A few things happened that make me not want to come in again. First while I was showing Josh photos of what I wanted for my haircut and also trying to talk through it with him I looked up to find he had walked away to the front desk which left me talking to myself. The second was at the end of my haircut I was left with hair all over my face (even at other cheaper barbershops theyā€™ll make sure to brush the hair off your face). And finally based on the descent online the ā€œCambridge Cutā€ is supposed to come with both a straight razor finish and a shampoo, neither of which I received as a part of the service I paid for.Overall, this place is fine. Wouldnā€™t say itā€™s worth the premium you pay unfortunately.

    Been going to this place for 5 years and Raf has been my barber for 4 years. This place and Raf never let down and consistently provide quality haircuts and beard trims. The people here are very kind and attentive and always make you feel valued. If you were to go I highly recommend booking Raf as your barber he is the best in the business and has been at Cambridge club for 4 plus years.

    Edit: Sam the owner reached out and that meant a lot. Manny did a great job and I am happy with my experience!Really unhappy with my experience. I booked an appointment to get my haircut the night before my appointment. Unfortunately my flight was delayed getting back to Tampa and I missed my appointment. I just called to make a new appointment the next day and when explaining the situation the receptionist hung up on me.Because I booked within a 24 hour window I didnā€™t have the ability to reschedule the appointment. I was able to send an email an hour before the appointment letting them know my situation. I understand the cancellation policy, but having no flexibility especially for a first time client is disappointing. Over 24 hours has passed and I havenā€™t gotten an email back, just a charge for $30.

A great conversationalist, great at attention to detail, and overall an amazing haircut and beard shave.     Marcus is someone I have been using for a solid 3 years. Recently I moved about 45 min away. I tried multiple barbers and they just dont compare. Unlike others this guy listens to what you want and gives you what you asked for, while still giving his expert opinion. The result is something that you are happy with when you walk out of the door. I arrived at the salon a tad bit late, about 30 minutes behind schedule, and I was worried that there wouldnt be enough time for the beard portion of my haircut.     Moved to Tampa 7 weeks ago and was looking around for barber shops and Cambridge Club popped up. Iā€™m typically a sports clips guy but have been wanting that customized top notch service/experience. I Booked a haircut/beard combo and an eyebrow/nose wax with Rami. He even busted out the thread to touch up the eyebrows after the wax. We connected really well during my visit and had great conversation throughout my time there. He is very detailed and provides top notch service. I booked my next appointment with him in May.This will be my regular spot.     I needed to fix my mug. Ill tell you what was definitely worth the small fee that they charge to clean up what you cant see up under your chin and around the sides. Liane was awesome! And I we had a great conversation because we grew up in similar neighborhoods back home and I absolutely enjoyed talking with her. Her candor was fantastic open and honest. And whats hotter than a strange woman grabbing a hold of your beard and tugging on it! Id highly recommend reaching out to anybody over there cuz watching the professionalism and the cleanliness of the place was just amazing. Fortunately, I found a great barbershop, The Cambridge Club, and a fantastic barber, Matt. The Cambridge Club is certainly an upscale location in the center of Hyde Park Village, so you pay a bit more than shops in other areas. However, youll receive far better service from The Cambridge Club than most shops, and youll never feel rushed.If youre looking for a shop, and if youre looking for a barber, I highly recommend The Cambridge Club and Matt.     There really isnt a better spot in Tampa for a cut in my opinion. Free parking garage right across the street. Fairly priced, great barbers and even offer some alcoholic beverages while you wait. Ive had 4 different barbers there and I walked away more than satisfied each time.

    As far as the haircut goes - this was a good experience. i got pretty much exactly what i wanted. however, i was a bit turned off by clientele not being asked to wear masks, as it was a small space and i was pretty much the only one with a mask on. otherwise, its a clean shop with a quality cut.
