I am so delighted to have discovered Elizabeth at Color Bar. She started off as my daughters stylist. She put beautiful pops of color in her hair in the most artistic way. I’m so thankful to have found Elizabeth and Color Bar salon! I visited for the first time on Monday and had my hair cut by Elizabeth. It was easy to make an appointment online. The salon is privately owned and very nice inside. Elizabeth did a wonderful job on my cut! She was sweet as can be and it was very easy to enjoy a nice conversation with her while she worked. I was very pleased with my choice in a new salon and look forward to booking again.

Absolute perfection from Nina. Just moved to the area and had been going to same person for 9 years and was worried about finding someone else in Titusville. I made an appointment and am so happy with the results. Not only did Nina get the color and cut perfect the owner Kristen followed up with me as a first time client. I would recommend this shop and Nina to anyone. She is a superb stylist and really took her time to get it right as my hair was a hot mess from thinking I wanted to go gray and not doing anything for a few months👍 Thanks Nina and Kristen and I will see you again soon.

I have been dying my own hair for last year and needed a nice professional correction to my novice blunders. I also wanted a very drastic haircut. I had the pleasure of having Kristin herself cut my hair as she was demonstrating to her apprentice. The amount of respect she gave Kyla was inspiring. The customer service provided from beginning to end is also amazing and very much appreciated. Kristin referred to 80% of the clientele that came in during my visit by name and knew who their stylist was without looking it up. If you are new to having your hair dyed or styled, I would highly recommend. If you need a great experience while getting your hair done, I would highly recommend.

I have been to the salon before and have received great service! I went again tonight and I had booked with the first person available for my time constraint.I was booked with Nina, and I cant say enough good things about her. I believe she is a bit newer to this particular salon, but she has 7 years of experience. She did my hair wonderfully, and was very particular (in the best way)! She ensured it was even and that I was okay with the length.She has a lovely personality and her skills are top-knotch. There is a small language barrier, as her first language is Ukranian. Despite this, she is very communicative and will make sure you know what youre getting. Shes legitimately so sweet and hard-working.If you dont have a preferred stylist anywhere, I recommend booking with Nina before she gets booked up!

Wish I could have experienced this salon, but it was cancelled last minute. I scheduled an appointment online during my spring break in March. The day before my appointment, I received text messages and calls around 8 pm asking to possibly reschedule due to a booking error. It happens, but I was unable to because of previous other engagements. I was told they would be able to work it out and keep the appointment as scheduled.Then the next day, mid- morning (appointment was at 1 pm), I received a call that they are cancelling my appointment. They did offer to schedule another time, but none of the times met up with my schedule. It was the end of spring break, my husband works, I was going back to work, and we have a daughter. So my schedule is pretty tight. They were apologetic, however kept saying well...we would like to reschedule, but you arent available any of the times we have available. And then put me on a waiting list for the first week in April. The original appointment was mid-March. I even told them I wasnt available that weekend, but was still put on the waiting list.I do understand that scheduling errors happen, however it would have been nice to know more in advance so I could try to have my hair appointment scheduled somewhere else for the time I had available. Also, being told that they could do the appointment, and then 12+ hours later changing their mind....was very frustrating.My appointment was changed because things were overbooked, but I was never explained why other appointments werent rescheduled to accommodate my appointment.Ive heard great things about this place, but unfortunately I didnt get to experience it.Update 7/27/22After speaking with the owner soon after my initial review. She was very accommodating, and wanted to make things right. The owner was very kind and worked with me on working around my schedule. Although it took me months to take her up on her offer to get my hair done, I finally did. Elizabeth, the stylist, was super supportive and helpful with working on what I wanted for my hair. I will definitely be returning.

Thank you!!As a new client, seeking a new hairstylist, after getting recommendation of this salon from a friend, I am sadly disappointed. While the staff was polite, it was very insincere. I was taken back 15 minutes late for my appointment, I was then told that the stylist would not have time to wash my hair and do a blowout, that she could do a dry haircut. Who the heck gets their hair cut dry? I had selected my option online when I made my appointment and I had selected a long hair, haircut. It seems to me that their online booking system doesnt take into account that long hair doesnt take 10 minutes to cut and 20 minutes to blow out. The stylist very quickly cut my hair, not exactly what I asked for, she did the barest of minimum to my hair, and then when her 1:00 p.m. client showed up on time she handed me off to someone else in the salon to give me a half baked blowout. Needless to say I will not be returning to the color bar, I paid for my haircut and blow out, and I even tipped 15% because Im not that person. But I will not be returning.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great place. Makayla did a magic with my hair,total makeover. I came with this mess of tangled, dry,bleached uneven cut hair and she highlighted and cut it and made it so beautiful and healthy looking. I had my hair cut and balayage by Melissa Hall yesterday and WOW. The customer service was wonderful, the price is RIGHT, her professionalism was outstanding, and her knowledge of this trade is what makes her a master stylist. The look she carefully constructed for me was everything I wanted and more. One of things I like the most about Melissa was she explained the difference of highlights vs. balayage and the impact it will have on my hair along with how this cut will frame my face better. Just taking the time to do that is more than many stylist are willing to do. This is will be my hair stylist as long as I live in Titusville! Thank you Melissa! Megan at Color Bar is a lifesaver!!I was inpatient and went to a salon that mostly did mens hair...well it bit me in the butt and the girl butchered my hair. I had gotten 6 taken off and the layers she gave me were choppy. My sister recommended Color Bar so I made an appointment and they were able to get me in the next day. Megan fixed my layers so now my hair is perfectly blended!! Ive scheduled a follow up to have Megan color my hair and do my eyebrows. Thank you so much for fixing my hair!!

OK Im not a Google review leaving person however here it goes…1st off the color bar was discovered thanks to Google and my loving boyfriend...im not from the area and was just visiting. I am a gastric bypass patient 5 years out and my hair is very brittle as well as having treatments for cancer. So Ive always been Very self conscious about my hair. On top of the fact of being a natural Ginger usually dont let anyone come close to your unicorn mane lol.The color bar is honestly a small hidden treasure. I walked up to the beautifully painted building and kinda people watched. I was honestly nervous 2 walk in. The clients that walked in and out..well honestly they looked like something out of the movies. Here i am plus size and covered in tattoos with flaming red ,dry,damaged hair. Ohh boy i can feel the judgment coming...As i walked inside i could never be more wrong. I was greeted by such friendly staff and everyone had a smile on their face and the salon was filled with laughter between clients. I checked in with a sweet young lady and waited less than 5 mins...glued to my phone of course avoiding eye contact. With everyone.Kristen approached me with a huge smile and made me feel like i was a long time client. She did not greet me with a number or what i was getting done..she greeted me with my name. She went over what i requested just to confirm and was super professional. Really on the inside i was screaming please save my hair save the unicorn mane.I received an oaplex hair treatment and wash..which..btw amazing..let me repeat amazing.Kristen then sat me in her chair and began to cut and style my hair. She walked me through everything and made me feel comfortable. Before i knew it we were talking like best friends and i honestly forgot i even owned a phone .Few short moments later i was turned and the great reveal happened.My hair looked so different at 31 years old id never had my hair look so healthy, soft,and beautiful before. I had to hold back tears of joy ..seriously.Immediately I sent a photo to my boyfriend and lets just say someone all of a sudden had an emergency and had to leave work early. Lol.Kristen and her staff are true miracle workers. Ive never been so happy or felt so beautiful before.Btw id drove nearly two hours and id drive it and will drive it just to come back to this salon.So i dont know how they are only 4.8 stars..cause if there was something higher than 5..this is the place that deserves it. Get it together google..lol. the color bar is a beyond 5 star salon...and so are the people who work there.Miracles are made by appointment. The higher the hair the closer to jesus.
