    Ive been seeing Kayla for about a year now, and every single time I leave the salon, Im beyond impressed with this she does my hair. She takes the time to listen to exactly what I want, while also offering her expert advice on what would look best for me.The quality of her work is consistently amazing! My hair always looks healthy, shiny, and perfectly styled. Shes not only technically skilled but also genuinely passionate about what she does. I cant recommend Kayla enough!

    I love this salon! Every worker here does an excellent job. From hair cut to hair colors or blonding. Ive seen them be very versatile for all age groups regardless of gender. I Highly recommend. The Owner is my absolute favorite. I also would like to give an honorable mention to Kylee. Worth the price!

    Jules is literally the best stylist who has EVER touched my hair. I have been going to her for almost 2 years and she is just amazing in every way. Sheā€™s very good at listening exactly to what you want out of a service and genuinely cares about your end result. I could go on and on but just know you will not be disappointed!!!

    Tonight was my second appointment scheduled with Jules. She did an amazing job both times with my curly hair. She listened to what I wanted but also offered great advice. Would definitely recommend the ship and her as a stylist!

    What a great experience! I went to Salon Lucent for the first time and was scheduled with Kayla. First, she was super timely which doesnā€™t typically happen in a salon setting. The salon was so cute and clean!!! Then we walked through what I was looking for, discussed color options and whatā€™s best for my hair type. After settling on my color, she took her time and made sure I understood what the process was going to entail. She really set all my nerves at ease and did such an amazing job. I even have hand-tied extensions and she was able to handle my hair with such care. Thank you so much, Kayla!!! I will definitely be back!

    I recently temporarily re-located to the area and needed to find a new salon. After a couple of days of searching, I went with Lucid! I booked with Alanna and she was AMAZING!!! She answered all of my questions... and even the questions I didnt know I should be asking. :) I brought in a few inspo pics and she NAILED IT!! We did a cut and coloring and could not be happier!!Booking was very easy on the website and the facility was clean and organized. (And you can have an adult drink while youre getting beautified!!)I will definitely visit again before I return to Texas!

    Iā€™ve been going to Kylee for a couple months and I couldnā€™t be more happy! Not only is she professional and incredibly talented, she also is incredibly kind and makes your time in the chair fly by in the best way! I couldnā€™t recommend anyone else to do your hair service!     Update*** Bri is always so lovely. She is truly a blond artist.Cut is still a mess but we are growing it. ***Iā€™ve been coming to this salon for many years and Iā€™ve loved most stylists. I prefer two, who always do a good job, but Iā€™m never really happy about my haircut when I leave. Color is always perfect but haircuts always seem rushed, badly layered and not exactly what I look for. My hair is thick and all I always ask for is a simple bob. I donā€™t like bangs because they are usually a hit or a miss and with layers itā€™s the same. Some do great layering while others just simply butcher it. Itā€™s a wildcard and it depends on who you get.During Milton my appointment was canceled once which I understood. But my highlights got so horrible, I put temporary hair dye. In the meantime, I decided to get a haircut at their Riverview location and schedule a color correction for Valrico. Biggest mistake of my life. This is by far the worst haircut I have ever had. I did get a color correction, which understandably was a lot and the stylist was gracious to try to fix this cut.Iā€™ve been going through somethings lately. My brother got a transplant and I was feeling down and wanted to look and feel better. This haircut is still horrible and depressing. Thereā€™s nothing I can do to fix it but to let it grow. Iā€™m unsure if I want to keep going to the salon because of this. I just donā€™t think anyone knows how to do a proper bob on hair like mine. Iā€™m still trying to get over it and have to wake up every morning to put it in the tiniest bin and pin this horrible layers and bangs.

    I love that you are able to book and edit your reservation all online! That was the most convenient part and you are able to choose your time and everything, I love that system!This location is part of a small strip and sits in between a Tae Kwon Do and Heights Meat Market. It is very easy to find.Alexis was great and took great care of me. She gave me exactly what I was wanting. I will definitely be booking her for my future haircuts!Price was very reasonable and youā€™re in and out in 45 minutes to an hour at most. I will be back!

    I went to Salon Lucent after seeing Karlee on Instagram. She did an AMAZING job on my hair. I love the front money piece it makes me feel like Iā€™m glowing!! I went to her after a previous hair disaster I had at another salon. She color corrected all of the brass out of my hair, (there was a lot) and you couldnā€™t even tell it was there. My hair feels so healthy and I feel so beautiful. I received numerous compliments and it was a huge confidence boost! I will never go to a different hair stylist. Karlee was very easy to talk to and she understood exactly what I wanted. I have never had anything short of a positive experience at Salon Lucent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I 100% recommend anyone looking for a hair salon to go here.

    Came here to get my hair corrected from a previous salon and had an amazing experience! The free consultation was informative and I was given a quote so I knew exactly what to expect coming into my appointment, they went over what I wanted, what I currently had and explained some places they could improve that even I didnā€™t notice such as an uneven cut. Kylee was so easy to work with and helped me get my hair back to what I wanted, I canā€™t thank her enough. I absolutely love my hair now, and I will be continuing to book with her. The experience here was far better than anywhere I have been before and I didnā€™t feel anxious or judged sitting in the chair. Now I can actually look forward to my hair appointments!!

    First off, I want to say that every single experience that I have had at Lucent has been absolutely fantastic. Each of the stylists I have had have been fantastic, doing a great job with my hair and have been very personable each time.Ive been going to Lucent for a few years now and have switched between a few different stylists and have enjoyed my experiences with each.Tiffany always does a great job with cuts and shes so sweet! Its great to see her at Lucent. She helped me a lot with developing a better routine for my hair and a better style for it overall, and to create my own style!Ive only gotten one haircut from Emily, but she is great too! I also was recommended a scalp treatment from her and oh my goodness, it was great. It helped a lot with dryness and because I was feeling a lot better afterward, it helped the haircut pop so much more.Caiti is who I have gone to the most recently, as Caiti has also colored my partners hair over the past while. Caiti was kind enough and had enough foresight to try to book out my appointments in conjunction with my partners, as we only have one car and wed have to go together anyway. Caiti is super awesome and chill and has had a great vibe every time I go in. Like Tiffany and Emily, Caiti always has done a great job with my hair, helping me to further develop my own style and really exceeding my expectations every time.Caiti and whole team are great and I have felt welcomed and respected every time that I have been there. Any other reviewers mentioning any issues regarding this are either misleading, patently untrue, or at the very least, misunderstanding the team themselves.Salon Lucent is great and I would go here every time I need a haircut from now on! Sadly I am moving away so I have unfortunately visited the last time. :(In any case, Lucent is awesome and the vibes are always great.     I came across Salon Lucent through a simple Google search as I was looking for a hair salon open on a Saturday. This Monday is my birthday, and I live about 3 hours away. My mom wanted to surprise me with getting my hair done, as i typically dont treat myself. Luckily, Salon Lucent was open and there was last minute availability with Jules.Upon arriving to the Salon, I immediately felt comfortable and like the stylists were educated well as to what they were doing. If I could, I would rate the atmosphere a 10/10.In regards to Jules. I ended up leaving the salon crying and didnt receive what I had asked for. But before that sentence deters you away, let me explain.Jules, was an amazing stylist who genuinely cared about me leaving happy. She squeezed me in very last minute with another client because I do not live in the area and was going home the next day. I showed her inspiration pictures and we had a dull consultation. She was on the same page as I with my hair intergeity and offered services to maintain my hair health, while still being transparent in regards of pricing. She communicated fully with me on what she was doing to my hair, and really catered to my hospitality making sure I was comfortable, needed anything to drink, or a charger for my phone. In the end, my hair looked like as when I came in. I believe our communication of my hair goals were not, however, I believe my hair just took in the toner more darker than it shouldve. Though I am not happy with my hair, I would like to mention that Jules did everything she could to reverse the toner and make me feel happy. Stating that she understood my concerns and would like to make up for it. I would also like to mention, my hair is not botched. My hair health is still great, and my hair looks beautiful. It is simply just not what I asked for, and it was far from my hair goals. The manager listened to my concerns and really made up for it by giving me the service for free, which I really appreciated because I could not stand the thought of paying for a service that I did not ask for.Overall, though my result was not what I wanted, Jules truly is a good stylist. She was understanding, her work is great, and she was empathetic. If I didnt live so far, I wouldve allowed them to have a redemption rather than the free balayage.

    Hands down best curl cut EVER! Brittany has a big, welcoming personality! She hears her clients and really throws her curl knowledge, not everyone has that, into her cut.     Caiti is amazing!! From the first time I sat in her chair, I was super comfortable. Shes so easy to talk to, and is always honest about what will or will not work with my hair.     I am new to the area and read several reviews before I found Brittany at Salon Lucent in Valrico (over an hour drive but well worth it) She gave me the best hair style/cut I have ever had. One that fits my face and gave me the fullness I always wanted.I used to get the spiral perms back in the day then started using hot curlers every day. Since Brittany gave me that perfect cut 6 months ago, I have never touched them again. My natural hair is actually curly, full and never realized it! Magic scissors!I didnt want to share her name due to lack of availability for me! Lol. She is wonderful. So glad I did my research!

    Tee is the best!! They not only take the time to really listen to what you are looking for but also they just make it enjoyable overall! I am coming up on my 3rd appointment with Tee and I canā€™t wait.     I started coming to Salon Lucent years ago when we moved nearby, and it has been a fabulous choice. I was drawn to both the gorgeous vibe and the fact that they shared their prices online! (Anyone else with a strict budget can relate to how stressful it is to get a mystery bill at the end of a cut, and my fellow millennials know that calling in to ask questions is the MOST anxiety inducing.)Previously, I was not the type to really be ā€˜loyalā€™ to a stylist and just sort of scheduled cuts where/whenever it was convenientā€”now I have been seeing Caiti religiously for years!As someone with absolutely wild social anxiety, I am used to dreading hair appointments, but I have never felt more comfortable and welcome. At past salons, stylists would constantly question my requests and try to deter me from ā€œmasculineā€ hair styles. Caiti has ALWAYS been so on board with any style or color I bring up, and makes the magic happen! (Seriously, magic. Like, taking my hair from dark forest green to platinum blonde magic.)Love, love, love this place!     Cati: The Hair WhispererFrom the moment I stepped into the salon, I knew I had found the place I wanted to keep coming back to. I had started with black hair and was in the process of going back to very light blonde. I had visited a couple other salons prior to Salon Lucent, but did not have great experiences with the other stylists. They were stuck up ā€œcelebrity stylistsā€ and damaged my hair. So when I met Caiti I was in the scary stages of somewhere between orange is not the new black and ugly cowgirl copper. She got me to where I wanted to be without compromising the integrity of my hair or turning it into a pile of stretchy spaghetti noodles. Not only does she possess an extraordinary talent for transforming hair into a work of art, where you feel beautiful and confident, but her down-to-earth demeanor and genuine interest in my needs and preferences made the entire experience feel like catching up with an old friend when I sat down in that chair on day one. She listens intently, advises with wisdom, and executes with precision. Each snip and style is done with a level of care and attention that is simply unmatched. Oh and her scalp and neck massages are that extra treat other people donā€™t really do; I hate when those are over lol. Itā€™s rare to find someone who is not only masterful at their craft but also makes you feel heard and valued. Over time, what started as routine hair appointments evolved into a friendship over the years. If youā€™re looking for someone who will elevate your look while treating you like family, look no further. She is, without a doubt, the best in the business.

    Everytime I get my haircut anywhere I end up going home and touching it up on my own to get it to my liking( Iā€™m licensed I just donā€™t use it ). I know a good stacked bob when I see one.     A wonderful environment with friendly staff! While Im there, I feel relaxed and very welcomed. They offer water or a hot beverage as soon as you walk in and check up on you throughout your visit. By far, my favorite salon, and Ive recommended others to go here, too! Its pricey, but for what services youre getting, you get more than what you pay for (in my opinion). They give you advice on how to take care of your hair and different techniques to achieve different hair styles. You definitely get more than what you pay for! Its worth the trip, so hopefully, you go and enjoy their wonderful services!!

    Ok, so Tiffany rocks! The whole staff actually is phenomenal. On line booking is simple. Follow up text reminders, and a call from Brooke about an earlier appointment availability make for a great place. It normally takes me months to find a new place, but I found Salon Lucent quickly, they took me as a walk in, and now I have a standing appointment. Oh yeah, they prices are just as good as the service.

    I had a cut and color treatment done by the stylist Karlee and I cannot stop admiring it! I am extremely happy with the end result. Salon Lucent was very professional, clean and on time, not to mention very affordable-coming from NY this was a breath of fresh air. Karlee did an amazing job.     I was in need of a new place to get my haircut, and after doing some research, I decided on Salon Lucent.I was a little nervous to try this place because itā€™s relatively new, and I loved my last stylist. Also itā€™s farther away than I wanted to drive initially, but it was worth it. To my surprise, I might have received the best haircut Iā€™ve ever had from Alexis.     Crossed paths at Salon Lucent by luck. I have an upcoming out of state wedding to attend and my current stylist had to (unexpectedly) cancel my hair apt. Receptionist here showed empathy and was eager to help by working me in. Elena, the stylist, is an an absolute angel hair goddess. I showed her what I wanted and she delivered.     After years of trying and failing to find a hair stylist that I was happy with, I finally found Karlee. She is amazing. I have been to her several times, and she is consistent in her work and service. She takes the time to communicate with you, doesnt make you feel picky, dumb, or impossible, and goes over what you want to do and the whole process thoroughly to make sure she understands exactly what you want and that you are comfortable with every step it will take. She does not pressure you to cut more length off than youre comfortable with even if she thinks its damaged. She also recommends products that will help but does not push you to buy them or make you feel bad if you say you would rather not. She has absolutely nailed the styles and colors I have asked for, and always explains what she is doing while shes doing it to make absolutely sure you are comfortable and happy and to get your feedback. She has the most professional, yet kind demeanor I have ever experienced. If you have hit your limit of one-and-done stylists, try again with Karlee, and you will be so happy. Just leave some space on her calendar for me please!!
