    Dont let the catchy name make you think it isnt a shop full of skilled and talented barbers. Nor the barbers funky or hip appearances (so no stereotyping please). Its fun and lively and reasonable, all of them are friends, not competitors. Tip liberally, they all are trying to make a decent living with a profession they are hooked on. And you will, infact, look quite dapper when you leave.

    Sebastian totally hooked me up with a great cut. Id never seen him before but Id heard he knew what he was doing, so I told him just do what you think I need, its your choice and my trust was rewarded. A great cut and Ill gladly be returning. I noticed that Joey had some mad skills, too.

    One of my best friends recommended Joeys and finally got to go today. I called ahead cause I was on my lunch break, and they said they could get me in and out in time. They were busy when i came in, Joey still made sure a barber attended me right away. Paul gave me a great cut and was just fun being in there. Such a cool barbershop. Super happy I came in and got back in time for break. Thanks guys. I appreciate it!

    My boys have been going here for quite some time and they will not go anywhere else. I decided to try them out and I’m highly satisfied. I have only been to a barber one other time I normally do it myself but I will be coming back for sure.

    My wife and I were visiting town due to a death in the family. I needed a hair cut and a beard trim badly. The past reviews for Joey’s caught my eye. Sebastian waved me to his chair and took real good care of me. Sebastian was very friendly and professional, and will definitely recommend him.

    My Dad Visits from time to time as well as my boyfriend & his brother. My mother and I are both stylists in the next town over, & whenever we can’t fit the boys in we send them to Joeys. If my Clients ask where to send their husbands for a good cut and shave - Joeys, Great haircuts every time. Danny is our personal go-to for cuts. He’s a Great barber & really knows what he’s doing. Joeys Downtown has a great atmosphere & a good location his decor has a mix of old-timey feel while also maintaining a cool urban twist. Best part is you can get your man’s haircut while you enjoy a cool snack at “Downtown Dipper.” across the street. Great place! 10/10 recommend

    I had a wonderful experience here. Noah was awesome today. I have used multiple barbers here (Jesse,Danny, Joey) never disappointed with the results. The entire staff is friendly and inviting. I recommend making appointment because they are always busy. Well worth the wait. They dont rush you in and out they take there time and make sure its done right.

    I just recently moved down to Vero Beach. I had a couple Bad experiences with haircuts. I’m super stoked that I discovered Joeys Downtown Dapper Barbershop.     I went to Joeys a little bit ago been struggling to find the words to put voice to my experience. I had an amazing barber named Sebastian gave him a loose description of what I wanted I had an image in my mind but no idea how to voice it as words are my greatest weakness I’m good at ideas. I merely told him I wanted to have a cut and shave that let me keep my arrogant look as that is my look I am overly confident but also needed to look professional and he took the exact look I had in my mind and brought it out in me. The conversation was great (we all know the worst thing ever in a barber shop is a silent stylist as the banter makes the process fly by) his price was beyond economical yet I have gotten nothing but compliments it made me feel like I went to a fancy high end barber shop that I paid a couple hundred bucks for a simple trim up. I definitely reccomend this shop even for kids. While I was there the next chair over had a little toddler in it that wanted mom to hold him and the stylist worked around the mom doing a cut on a baby. That was beyond impressive for me to see being a dad to 3 and remembering those days. I will be a regular there for sure.

    A most excellent place for a haircut.We went out on a lunch date downtown today.Went by Joeys downtown dapper & decided to go in & see if hubby could get a haircut.Joey took him right in, he was so respectful & kind to us.He did exactly what hubby requested with such skill & ease.His haircut looks really, really sharp, dapper.Its actually the best haircut hes ever had.Weve found hubby a new barber for sure!Nice shop with several chairs & barbers.

    I loved this place. I love the atmosphere. Its got a very old-school movie Italian gangster thing Joey who owns it is very nice. The place is always busy so I would suggest you get there early or make an appointment.. I suggest you see danny hes my barber he also does excellent shaves.. However, all the barbers are excellent, and they also specialize in kids cuts theres always kids in there....If you see Danny tell him Bulldog, the wrestler sent you..

    This place is amazing. Ive been here twice, 4 years apart in visits and let me tell you the atmosphere was the same, the haircut was phenomenal, and I had a great chat with my barber! Im not really into fashion or anything like that so when I ask for a haircut I have to kind of describe what Im going for and its not always easy to say what I want for it and they got it perfect! They really raise the standards of getting your hair cut. They can be busy, but its a great sign of quality work to have a line. Id recommend heavily!

    The best barber shop around! They are very friendly. Great atmosphere, clean, and of course great barbers.     A busy barbershop with a great atmosphere. Friendly to all age groups. Put your name on the list and enjoy the barbershop atmosphere while you wait for your barber or any one of the talented guys to send you off with a fresh cut.     I wanted to experience a high end Barber, I was referred by a pharmacy tech from Publix and I must say Tony did a phenomenal job on my short wedge cut. It was late and extremely busy but Tony and his team were so professional, friendly and so talented. I watched how each Barber treated and provided such great service to every customer. Worth the wait for the best in Vero Beach!

    My husband Jimmy is going through chemo . He has always had great hair . Chemo not only takes the color away but the hair ! We met Matt today and not only did he listen to our story he took the time to talk to my amazing husband and ask him questions. Made him feel like himself again . Matt did a wonderful job. we asked how we owed and he said “ you have enough going on it’s on me , I’ve been crying ever since .     I have been getting my haircut here for almost 2 years. After some botched cuts around town after moving to Vero Beach in November of 2018 it was such a relief finding this diamond in the ruff. A friend recommended I try Joeys. So glad he did. Great value, a relaxed shop, and a great crew of awesome barbers. I refuse to go anywhere else to get my haircuts. Personally go to Cheyne for my cuts but, from what I see, all the guys do an awesome job. Very Highly recommend 💯

    Cool atmosphere I would definitely recommend and would go back but the reason for not getting five stars is because I put my name on the check in sheet they have upfront with my phone number I stepped outside while I waited I never received a phone call and they skipped over me. They also didn’t offer any hot towels for your face after shaving which is a super nice touch to help with aftershave burn. But my barber was friendly and did a great job with the haircut and beard trim.

That act meant more to me than he could EVER know. My dads last haircut was here..as we had both been coming here for years now. I will NEVER forget his gesture..thank you bro.     Erik was fanominal! He gave me the best hair cut of my life. Even just watching him do his thing is impressive. My daughters comment was, hes really good.We can just before 2 and the waiting area quickly filled up to be the busiest Ive seen a barber. It was a very mixed crowd. From grump old guys, like me, to young kids with their grandma and moms.I would have been tremors to give this place 5 stars but some of the kids were all over the place and some of the barbers seemed almost too busy talking amongst themselves.Erik is s5 star act for sure! Ill be coming back!

    Down here on vacation with the family, we went to some shop in north Sabashton and it was horrible! We heard about Joeys and headed straight there and I tell you we are blown away by the awesome job they did fixing 3 bad cuts, the place has amazing energy and just a cool chill vibe in general.     The haircut was excellent, and the price was unbeatable. The shop is clean enough, and the decor is vintage barber shop mixed with hip hop contemporary. The only thing keeping this review from being 5-stars was the excessive foul language used by the barbers and their friends hanging out in shop. Im only 30 and consider myself a pretty laid-back dude but that part of it was a little over the top. Once they start acting like professionals in there, theyll be the best game in town.

    I took my 2 year old son in today for his first haircut and this shop was amazing! My son was a bit of a nightmare, literally screamed and cried the entire time and his barber Mike was so patient with us and actually still gave him a great cut. I can’t thank you all enough!     Always a great experience when using Joeys. Joey knows the right questions to ask for this mom that doesnt really know much about boys haircuts last night I brought my son in last minute for school pictures today, I called and Joey offered to stay and wait. Once my son got in his chair I let him choose what he wanted. Mohawk with spikes on the side obviously he didnt get exactly that. But Joey gave him a great little phohawk, no side spikes. Great little cut I can style for fun and for family gatherings. Thank you Joey, Ill get my hubs in your chair soon enough!

    Solid shop! I was visiting a friend in Vero and was in need of a cut. Found these guys on google and decided to give it a shot. The barber in seat 2, the big guy with the big beard (sorry can’t remember his name), honestly gave me one of the best haircuts of my life. Awesome job.     Great locally owned barber shop with unbeatable prices and great cuts. If youve struggled with finding a barber shop that consistently gives great cuts Downtown Dapper is a must try. I can only recommend Doug, as hes the only one to cut my hair, but seeing other barbers cutting hair makes it easy to say anyone there will be able to tame even the messiest hair.

    Guys this is were you go to get a real haircut, the staff is one of the best in town. Owned and operated by a vero beach native. The staff has its finger on the pulse of the latest trends in mens hair styles. The price of a haircut is ridiculously set at $15 they could easily charge more because of the quality.
