    I just want to say that I love being service by ALANIS.I had the absolute pleasure of getting my hair styled by someone who truly exemplifies excellence in her craft. From the moment I walked in, her attention to detail stood out — she listened carefully to what I wanted, offered suggestions.Every part of the process felt intentional and well thought-out. From the sectioning of the hair to the final touches, you could tell she takes great pride in her work. She doesn’t rush, and it shows — every curl, part, and edge was done flawlessly. What impressed me most is how she combines artistry with professionalism. Not only did my hair look amazing, but I also left feeling confident and well taken care of. Thank you.

    The staff is always so friendly and helping one another out. Salon is always clean too. Chelsea is amazing! I absolutely love my cut! I was really looking forward to a fresh look for the summer, and she definitely delivered. She never disappoints, and always listens to what I want. Won’t go to anyone else for my haircut. 10/10 recommend her and this salon.

    I had an absolutely amazing experience at the salon! I came in for a wolf cut, and Sarah was my stylist—she was incredibly nice, sweet, and such a great listener. The result was perfect and better than I imagined!From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. I was warmly welcomed and even offered a drink and a snack, which made me feel so comfortable and cared for.     Truly an enjoyable experience when you get your hair cut at J. Joseph. Roy has exceptional skills and a keen eye to details in giving a cut that is both clean and image improving. If you have not had a shampooing scalp massage before, this alone is an experience you gotta try! 5 star for everyone Ive seen over the years

    Amanda was absolutely amazing! I asked for curtain bangs and long layers. She made the hair flow really naturally and kept checking up with me on length as she was cutting to make sure I was good with cutting more. I will definitely be coming back to her!

    Absolutely LOVE this Salon ! From the moment I called to request an appointment to my first visit . My stylist, Paris is the sweetest lady and so talented and professional ! All the ladies at this shop are friendly and welcoming, and they work together helping each other in salon tasks. Paris saved all the damage I did to my hair and made it beautiful again.     I had an awesome experience at J. Joseph Salon in Wesley Chapel! I wanted my blonde highlights to be a red but not bright red like a wine red or maroon and Esmeralda listened to me and found the prefect red color I wanted! Esmeralda did an awesome job. She checked on me throughout the process. And the 2nd best part of my appointment was when she blow dried my hair then curled & styled it! Can’t wait for my next appointment!     Had my first appointment at this salon today with Myriemme. Not only was she, and all the ladies in the salon, SO sweet, she also did an absolutely beautiful job!! I wasn’t great at explaining what I wanted but she was a great listener and understood and executed the look beautifully! I’m so happy with my hair and will be back :)

    Had a great first experience. Chelsea did a great job… I came in to get a trim and layers and Chelsea made sure to make my vision become a reality. As some may be concerned with having a lot of hair chopped off… Chelsea made sure to keep my hair length as long as possible and made my hair come out beautifully.     Never had a bad experience at this salon in Wesley Chapel. My hair was exactly what I wanted every single time I came. Mak gave me a glaze for my hair to make it extra shiny with the highlights she did in the previous appointment. They are very sweet and very accommodating, offering drinks and snacks and making me feel very comfortable and welcome. Mak is the best hair stylist I’ve had ever. She never misses with our appointments and is such a kind human being. 10/10 recommend Mak for your hair appointments!!!!

    My new go to stylist is Paris and she is fantastic! Not only is she super sweet, she also does a fantastic job! She is curly hair trained and does a wonderful job with my color. Cant recommend her or the salon enough 🙂Previous Review: Jenna was so sweet and definitely earned the title of Copper Queen! With an idea and a few inspo pictures, Jenna was able to turn my ashy brown hair into the perfect balayage copper. Jenna made me feel comfortable during the long color session and I will definitely be making my touch up appointments with her in the future!About the salon in general, it was clean and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for, this salon is pricey but I do think the results speak for the value. Ive cheaped out at other places and left in tears so investing in my hair to get EXACTLY what I wanted is worth it. J. Joseph has definitely earned a repeat customer in me!

Her attention to detail is unmatched, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.The salon itself is very professional and clean, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were polite and welcoming, even offering complimentary drinks and snacks. I also appreciated that when I booked my appointment over the phone, they asked about my hair type and length to provide an accurate quote upfront. This is such a nice touch, especially because I’ve been to other salons where I was quoted a lower price only to be charged more due to my long hair.The price was super affordable – only $55 for a great haircut. Highly recommend this salon and Alanis if you’re looking for an attentive and skilled hairstylist!

    Amanda is an absolutely outstanding person and hair stylist! I’ve been going to her for almost a year now and am blown away with each and every salon visit. As someone who naturally has very warm undertones, Amanda’s the first stylist that’s actually been able to deliver the ashy color I’ve always desired. I get compliments on my hair nearly everywhere I go and no one ever believes that they’re extensions (until I show them) because they look so natural. Plus ladies, she’s FAST! She’s able to highlight, shampoo/glaze my hair, move up my extensions, and give a trim in under three hours! Needless to say, she has a client for life 🤍

    Atlas! FINALLY found someone in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area that knows how to cut my long, thick, coarse hair! I have not had any luck in this area. Most of these hair salons seem to specialize in coloring for some reason and no real talent when it comes to hair cutting. I normally take a trip all the way to Miami for a good cut.And then I finally I came across Chelsea at J.Joseph! She was SO sweet and gentle with my hair. I have thick hair like I mentioned but she took her time with me. She would check with me occasionally to make sure the length was still okay and paid attention to details! My hair did not come out with a burnt smell after a blow out like I had in the past with other salons. She is talented and you can tell she loves what she does!! She fixed my bad haircut and I’m so thankful to have come across her. Highly recommend Chelsea!!!

    I went in with a vision of my dream hair for my wedding and was very nervous becuase I had never done anything like this before. Amanda met me when I arrived at my consultation appointment and was very helpful right away. She recommended a Stylist that could do what I wanted and she was very kind and informative. Ezmerelda (I hope I spelled that right) was my Stylist and she was so kind the whole time. She sat me down we made a plan then I went back and the process was on. My hair didnt lighten right at first but she went over it again and got it done. Came back for a second session and did the color and WOW she really captured everything I wanted done. From the black on top and back streaks in it to the perfect color blues and teals. If you ever need any coloring be sure to go to her. She is absolutely amazing even to socially awkward people like me. I love my hair and will be going back to her for a touch up. 5 out of 5 stars.

    I’ve tried two other salons since moving here in September and wasn’t happy with my haircut either time. After reading the reviews for J. Joseph, I decided to give them a try. I booked online, got a quick callback and based on what I was looking for, Alanis was selected to be my stylist…and she did not disappoint! Meticulous, detail oriented and really listened to what I liked and didn’t like. End result a beautiful cut and style. My hair is straight with layers just below my shoulders so if looking for a great cut, I highly recommend Alanis!! It took three tries, but very happy to have found my new hair stylist. 👏🏻👍👏🏻

    One of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. As a male with longer hair, getting a haircut is usually stressful for me and I rarely am satisfied with them.
