    I saw Nikki for the first time yesterday, and I couldnā€™t be happier! I was nervous about trying someone new, but she listened carefully to what I wanted and completely brought life back into my curly hair. She even stayed late to accommodate me, which shows how much she cares about her clients. On top of that, she was so sweet and such a great conversationalistā€”I felt totally at ease the entire time. Iā€™m already looking forward to my next appointment with her!

    It was my first time at A Better Cut and I loved it! Iā€™ve wanted a short layered bob FOREVER but no one ever got it quite rightā€¦ Val nailed it! We talked exactly about what I wanted and didnā€™t want and she checked in with me on how it looked along the way. I was weary about trying somewhere new but the reviews here were right: nice atmosphere, super friendly employees (who didnā€™t pry into my life when I wanted some quiet), and even the ā€œchatterā€ was respectfulā€¦ I could make a list! Iā€™m super happy with my new haircut and Iā€™ll be back! (Will post a picture later!)

    Absolutely love this salon! I am someone who always feels insecure about how I look mainly because I can not see very well. Melissa is a godsend! She really cares and has the talent to take my wishes and turn them into a reality for me! Everyone is so friendly and I never feel as if I am unheard. Thank you for another wonderful cut, color, and style! This salon is on my permament favorites list!

    I absolutely LOVE Jen Jo! Sheā€™s been cutting and styling my hair since I was in middle school! Sheā€™s the only hair stylist I will allow to cut my deep inverted bob, did I mention how awesome she is at her job? Go see Jen Jo!

    A lot of people dont cut my hair very well and I walk out not as confident as when I walk in, DeeDee is the best person I have had cut my hair in my life, I have seen one other lady and she was good as well. Part of the reason Im upset to move away from this area is missing out on the haircuts from DeeDee. My only thing is its a little expensive but worth it.

    Ive been to this salon a handful of times now. In this economy, I was looking for a chair where I didnt have to pay a weeks salary for a cut, color, and blow dry. This place is definitely affordable for the quality, especially in comparison with other salons that offer the same level of service. It also gives me old-school salon vibes. Every time I walk in, I am flooded with memories of my mom taking me with her to get her hair or nails done on the weekends...I love it! Melissa has been great for a multitude of reasons - but especially because she is so laidback and just lets me hang out without talking my ear off. Its a happy medium between a quiet appointment and exchanging life-stories (I know everyone has a preference and this is mine). I will say, I recently called to schedule and Linda answered. I cant help but feel like I was somehow inconveniencing her by calling which was very different from any prior interactions. It was just a little brash. Maybe just an off day?

    I had Nikki as my stylist and I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone and everyone. I couldnā€™t have been more lucky to have her as my stylist. Iā€™ll get into her work in a second but first I have to say I felt so taken care of in her chair. We talked about the cut beforehand and then started chatting which somehow felt like connecting with a long lost friend. As a person, I was incredibly impressed with her but one doesnā€™t carry over to the other for me. If I love you and you do a bad job, you still did a bad job and Iā€™m not coming back. She did an AMAZING job. I waited a couple of weeks to do this review because I wanted to style it myself to see how it feels and itā€™s seriously perfect. Thatā€™s saying something because I can be really particular about my hair. She did exactly what Iā€™ve wanted for years. We talked about gloss v treatment and then went with a clear gloss and a layered cut. After talking with Nikki, itā€™s clear that sheā€™s a professional and she knows exactly what sheā€™s doing. This is the most even cut Iā€™ve ever had and thatā€™s saying something because I was slowly dying from how uneven it was before. She really took care of me and did an amazing job. I feel so much more confident leaving her chair and I will definitely be back for another appointment with Nikki.

    Rosie!! This is what she can to do with a wash, blow dry and straight iron. I should have gotten a before pic. She is finding her stylist-groove; she has a refreshing enthusiasm, yet a low-key and fun personality. Her banter kept my restless butt, firmly planted in the seat.     Nikki colored and cut my granddaughters hair and also cut mine. We were her first clients at this salon. She did an outstanding job on both of us. Nikki knows hair.     Iā€™ve been getting my hair done by Nikki for 13 years. Iā€™m so glad sheā€™s now at A Better Cut Salon is West Palm Beach. The salon is clean and all the people Iā€™ve met that work here are super nice. Nikki is a one of a kind, rare gem. She is a literal master at her craft. From cut, to color, to styling and updos, as well as makeup applicationā€¦Sheā€™s simply the best.

    Went here for the 1st time to get my hair fixed from a previous cut I got somewhere else. Val did a great job doing that n gave me what I wanted! Shes very friendly n knowledgeable. The staff was very friendly n courteous. I was able to get an appt pretty quick which was greatly appreciated! Its a real nice salon n will go back again.

    I originally came to the shop because the hairstylist (at a different salon) that I had been seeing gave me straight bangs and butchered my hair, when all I asked for was curtain bangs. I saw Val for the first time in december and she worked her magic and was able to take me from the first blonde photo to the second, despite the bangs being short and super straight. I was so impressed by her work that I came back once my bangs grew in and she not only colored my hair beautifully, but she gave me THE BEST curtain bangs I have EVER had in my life (iā€™ve been doing bangs since I was a child). the brunette photos of me are the most recent work she has done. I could not recommend her more, especially if youā€™re looking to do layers. she also is just such a kind soul, super easy to talk to, and very entertaining. thank you val for always making me feel so beautiful

    This place did not disappoint! I had Rosieā€”who was not only amazing at her craft but super sweet and patient. I wear hearing aids and the hair washing part of getting my hair done is super nerve wrecking because I have to take my hearing aids outā€”but Rosie made the whole experience as comfortable as possible. I love my hair and cannot wait to come back for my color! Would definitely be recommending this place to friends and family

    Love this place and special shoutout to my amazing stylist, Val! I walked into the salon on a whim after looking up reviews online. Thought it was worth a try. It just so happened that my stylist actually turned out to be the same stylist who used to cut my hair almost 20 years ago before I moved up north! I immediately felt at ease and knew my hair was in the right hands again! She listened to everything I had in mind for a cut and did exactly that, even better than what I had imagined! After years of avoiding haircuts, I FINALLY love my hair again. :) Will definitely be here again for my next cut, thank you so much!!!!

    Iā€™ve been here before. I used to see Will and Angelena but unfortunately for me they moved away. I really wanted to do a fresh look for my birthday so I called hoping they could squeeze me in. They were helpful and accommodating to my last minute request. Melissa was so kind and helpful. I wanted a drastic change. Cutting my long hair shoulder length, and getting rid of my blonde balayage opting for a dark chocolate brown instead. I couldnā€™t be more obsessed with the results. My hair is thick and not the easiest to cut but Melissa is absolutely a pro. My hair is so much healthier and she gave me a bunch of tips on how to keep it that way. I also asked for bangs and she did them exactly as I envisioned. 10/10 I will always recommend this salon.

    I love this salon! The staff is very friendly and experienced; the salon is very clean and inviting. Chelsea always gives me a great shampoo, cut, and blow out. When I leave this salon, I feel fantastic and the prices are very reasonable too. Rose is also a fabulous stylist and my friend is always happy when Tammy does her hair. I definitely recommend this salon.

    Super amazing!! My hair is slightly long and I was worried that unnecessary inches would be taken off, as most of my past experiences at salons havent quite been the best. However, I was thoroughly pleased with my style and how accommodating everyone was. My stylist Stacy knew exactly what I wanted and gave me better results than I expected!! I am absolutely amazed :)

    This salon is a secret little surprise located in a strip center, not easy to see unless youā€™re looking for it. Everyone was super nice. It looked small from the outside but inside it was larger than expected, busy yet still cozy so I immediately felt comfortable. The owner was there, made sure to welcome me and Shelby gave me really nice highlights. The stylists were all very friendly to each other and seemed to be a team, not like some salons where they donā€™t even speak to each other. Also, I have to say what keeps them so busy besides great stylists and costumer service is the excellent prices. Iā€™m definitely a customer now.

    Most definitely happy that I found them! The owner, Lisa, and my hairdresser McKeala were very helpful, and nothing short of amazing!!!     Shelby is my go to person for cut and color. I always struggle between what I want and what I need. Shelby finds really good balance and give the best advice every time!     Been coming to this place for years and I can honestly say I ALWAYS leave satisfied! From quick trims to color change the employees go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Came in once after I wrecked my hair attempting to bleach it myself and the stylist who helped me correct it did such an amazing job. And shout out to Shelby shes always super sweet and has me leaving with my hair on point!

    Great place. Kim was the stylist who did my hair. She was patient, knowledgable, and kind. She went over different options and I felt comfortable with her. I fell in love with my hair again, thanks to her. Ive been complemented on my hair for at least the first 4-6weeks. I got a cut, highlights, wash and blow dried. The prices were reasonable.     The ABSOLUTE best hair salon Iā€™ve been too since Iā€™ve been back in Florida! Felt welcomed the minute I walked in, and was greeted if theyā€™d known me for years! My first time there, but most definitely NOT my last time. I had a very relaxing atmosphere, everyone was friendly, and helpful. If youā€™re looking for a place to be straightforward and to give you professional advice this is the place to go! Their most definitely not ones that will just be like ok thatā€™s what you want thatā€™s what we will do... NO! I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Lisa and my hairdresser was McKeala!     Wow. 5 stars are NOT enough. I tried them out on a whim, and I couldnt be happier. My hair is thick and typically difficult to cut correctly. Kathy was extremely knowledgeable. I wanted a trim, layers, my hair thinned, and side bangs. She did amazing on each request. My hair looks absolutely beautiful. The entire staff was courteous and kind. The overall atmosphere was great. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

    I moved down to West Palm exactly a year ago and had been going to the same hairstylist for around 8 years. Durring my winter trip back home I made sure I went to see her to get my haircut because I had not found a place down here that I thought I could trust. I found Better Cut hair Solon and decided it could be a good place to try to find someone new. And I am so thankful I tried them out! I called in the morning and got a same day appointment with Kim. She was absolutely amazing and was constantly trying to understand me better so she could get my hair exactly how I wanted it and she was spot on! I absolutely love my hair again and am so thankful for the awesome customer service! And unbeatable prices. Thank you Kim! I will be back.     My new favorite hair salon! Angelena took the best care of me today and made me look and feel like a goddess. Angelena is a truly experienced stylist that made me feel very comfortable from the getgo. I put the ideas in her head of what I wanted and she gave me everything I imagined. She was so personable and hilarious - had me laughing the whole time I was there. I couldnā€™t help but have a smile on my face - the energy in the building is very inviting and welcoming.     I have been going to this salon for around two years now. My stylist is McKaela, and she does a great job every time (hence why I keep coming back). She takes her time and is very polite and professional. In addition, you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. It is always nice to be a patron to an artist.Now, about the salon: They are doing a great job regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and reopening in a responsible way. The cleanliness and precautions taken are to the letter. If every business acted with the same responsibility and commitment to public safety and the community as this salon, the whole state would be re-opened and back on track in no time. Kudos to management and all employees!

    Ive never had a salon go so far out of their way to assure my experience with nothing less than perfect. It was such a pleasure to meet Lisa and her husband,the owners. They are very wholesome people who genuinely care about your happiness and the health of your hair. They are very honest people so if your hair doesnt need something they will tell you it is not about the money to them you can tell their Salon is thier passion.Lisa stayed well beyond closeing to assure my hair was perfect. I got base color,highlights and a pretty intense cut give it to me not cutting my hair for so long. She literally created a miracle. She took her time and kept me informed on everything she was doing while she was doing it. She would double-check and ask questions to a sure we were on the same page she kept the conversation going to assure I was comfortable which is something I personally struggle with so it was really really comforting. She actually listens and does exactly what you ask. We all know salons tend to do their own thing nope not Lisa even if you cant explain it well she seems to know exactly what you want. I was very vague and telling her I just wanted layers she managed to Envision exactly what I pictured. When I got in the car my husband said this is exactly what I pictured in my head for your hair. And that made me feel really happy inside. When I arrived at work everyone love my hair so much it prompted three other girls to get layers in their hair.To conclude this you know once you leave the salon this style they do tends to wear off Lisa is so knowledgeable on what she does that I literally do nothing with my hair and a week out my hair naturally Lays exactly the way she cut it so I get to walk around with beautiful hair everyday now Im never late to work if I dont have to do anything with it.I must say Lisa thank you to you and your husband so very very much you guys have boosted my confidence and make me feel very good I could not be happier also PS you guys have an amazing front desk assistant who listened to everything I had to say and is very accommodating brownie points for the assistant.I would definitely recommend.

(i wanted layers)I swore to never let someone else touch my hair, which lead to a solid 7 year at home dye and cut job. Lets just say I am not skilled in this art...The first time I came here (3 years ago) I arrived with fried hair... Bleached many times and dyed over with $3 black box dye that was chin length . I dont know how, but they transformed it into this silky smooth bob that felt so healthy šŸ˜­šŸ˜­šŸ˜­Now I go whenever i need to cut off the dead ends and wanna treat myself to a blow out. I dont even know how to describe how incredible they leave your hair. You know those Shampoo commercials that show a model just flipping their hair back and fourth? Yes just like that.My trust in hair dressers was restored. I learned to love again.Lol but seriously theyre so affordable and great quality should totally go 10/10

    Super experience. The receptionist was very helpful. All the staff was attentive and friendly. Will, my stylist, was fantastic. He was sociable and helped me to make decision about the length and style. It was a great experience and a good price.

    Val was amazing. I came in hoping they had time for a walk in and Val squeezed myself and another cut in when she had someone for a color coming in. I left with a new beautiful cut.
