I was nervous about having an appointment because I was tired of negative feedback on my hair. I actually prayed in the car before going in because I was so nervous that it would be another hairstylist that would make me feel like my hair was a problem.My experience with Rosi was so different. She made me feel like my hair was absolutely beautiful and gorgeous and that it was fun for her. She even told me I would make a good hair model for her. OMG!! I am almost 50 years old and have never had someone so knowledgeable with curly hair cut and style my hair. I was nervous going into the appointment, but I have left AMAZED. Not only did she cut and style my hair, but her and Nate walked me through the instructions on how to do this myself. Well let me you. I havent had the best experience with beauty salons. So I was super scared after 3 years of having my hair natural that it would get messed up. The Booking experience was amazing because I sent her photos so she could look my hair and see if I could get color. She is Booked and busy so you have to book 8-12 weeks in advance. The day of the appointment arrived and it was magical, she asked me about my hair, my routine and re assessed my hair. She was patience with my questions, gave me amazing pointers on taking care of my hair and treated my hair like a crown. Now I understand that we Covid 19 we are al on edge when it comes to visiting places, she was super clean and disinfected everything. I have to say everything was worth it because I feel alive with my hair! Thank you Rosi!

I’ve been with Rosi for 3 years and I’ve moved to Texas and back but while in Texas I drove back to Oxford several times to have Rosi do my hair because she’s not just professional but knowledgeable and educated in all aspects of curly hair, she listens closely to what your needs are and produces a better version of yourself!!! You will not be disappointed!!! I didn’t like my curly hair before and always wore it pulled back and in a ponytail, she made me love my curls and I frequently get complimented on my curls!!! TL;DR- Curly people- you simply must come see Rosi. Simply the best of the best.For the last two years, I have been driving an hour+ to have my hair cut at Rosicurls. Her haircuts are. -transformative- she makes my curls look better than they have ever looked in my entire life.Going to someone who truly understands and specializes in curly hair has been absolutely invaluable. Shes a curly girl herself. I thought I knew everything about taking care of my curly hair, but she has made care and style recommendations that were super helpful, and new to me.Shes on top of all the best products out there, old and new, and has recommended products that are most appropriate for my hair texture. If youre curly, you know texture and needs can vary widely, and not every product in the curly section is going to work for you. I quit wasting my money trying stuff, everything she recommends has been 100% spot on.Im only sad that Ive just had Rosicurls in my life for the last couple years, she would have saved me years of struggle and figuring out my curls. This was my first experience with a Curly Hair specialist and i dont think I can go back to getting my hair cut by anyone else!! I absolutely loved Rosi, she was so friendly and helped me understand my hair so much more than I did before! I felt like she actually listened to my concerns and helped me fix them. I love Rosi! In the past I would go somewhere and say what I want and they would either destroy my hair or do things I did not ask for. I would say oh yes i like it and NEVER come back. I would hide my hair until I could return to Michigan to get my cousin to fix it. Rosi did EXACTLY as I asked. I wanted to try new color and a pixie cut. She did a beautiful job and my hair is in great condition. Turns out the color is not for me. But she did what I asked for and I feel beyond comfortable returning to try a different color. Finally a stylist who gives you what you ask for, understands curly hair AND does a great job. I will return. I highly recommend Rosi!

I found out about Rosi through a Facebook curly girl group. Many people talked about what a great curl stylist she is! I am in Jacksonville and decided to drive two hours to go see her. I was not disappointed!!! She is AMAZING! She truly loves what she does and is amazing at it! I decided to go back to curly a year ago after chemically straightening my hair for over 20 years. I slowly started cutting my hair shorter and shorter With other stylist in Jax and I went to do my final cut with her to get to where my curls had grown. Rosi gives a great curly hair cut experience. Shes trained and exceptionally comfortable with a variety of cutting techniques and is able to customize a cut that will work for your curls and face shape. I have a range of curl patterns from wavy to curly and she always makes my hair look great. I did a lot of research before selecting Rosi. She does a full consultation before the cut so she can understand your wants and needs and what your hair will need. She gives great advice specific to your hairs needs.My first cut with her was a Devacut. She taught me a lot about clipping techniques to help with volume. My second cut incorporated Rëzocut techniques and I was able to get volume more easily. My third cut, she convinced me that bangs would work and did a full Rëzocut. Ive never gotten so many compliments on a haircut!If youre looking for a curly hair specialist familiar with the Curly Girl Method and trained in Deva and Rezo cutting techniques with a high level of skill, I recommend booking with Rosi. I was worried because I saw a lot of folks saying that Deva cuts and Deva stylists couldnt do much with wavy to slightly curly hair (2c-3a), but Rosi demonstrated that she can SLAY a cut for those of us who are wavy/curly too! Im going to continue being a Rosi client for as long as shell have me!

Ive been following Rosi on social media for awhile and was extremely excited when she had a last minute cancelation...I jumped on it and let me tell you, Im SO glad I did. I drove 2 hours from Tampa and Im not at all disappointed. She asked me many questions about my regime, and also what I was wanting out of the appointment. Let me say, she not only listened to my wishes but fulfilled them along with giving me great advice, haircut and style of which I am still trying to master.LOL I walked out loving my curls!I know we curly girls sometimes cant justify spending the extra money on a professional curly cut, but I look at it as we arent paying to cut our hair every 4-6 weeks, so if you take that into consideration you are really spending the same amount.Do yourself a favor and give Rosi a try, you will not be disappointed.I unfortunately did not get before or after photos, however, she did and maybe she will post them here.

My Curly Hair Story:I stopped getting a regular hair cut when my mom stopped paying for it. I probably had it done once or twice a year, maybe before a big event or occasion. I just never found value in it because I have curly hair and it seems like no one knows how to deal with it. Why spend money on that? If you’re like me, reviews are crazy important when deciding on a stylist, product, restaurant, etc etc so I’ll try to be as descriptive as possible. Rosi is phenomenal! Here’s how my experience went down:During the (free) consultation we went over my concerns and what I wanted in terms of cut. Then she recommended some products to use between then and the appointment. That alone was extremely helpful because when I say my curls were D-R-Y... giiiirrrrrrl. 😩When my actual appointment rolled around my curls were significantly healthier and she hadn’t even worked her magic yet. We briefly touched on what I wanted again and she started clipping. She explained each step and why they were being done. This was important for me because to be honest, I thought I knew what I was doing but I obviously didn’t. Lol You could tell that she really has a passion for curls and it comes out in her work.
