    Absolutely great!Omar was so patient and kind with my 1 year old. My son was too squirmy and needed to sit in my lap for his haircut. Omar was very understanding and patient with him and he took his time to make sure it was an excellent haircut even with my son not sitting still.We will definitely be returning customers!

    My son, who is special needs, with sensory issues has been particular about the hair cut experience and who is cutting it. For the past few years we have been going to Pio Pio and Omar has been wonderful with him every time. He cuts his hair with no fuss at all from my son. My son loves going here.     Great service. My son used to cry and beg not to get a haircut at other places that are loud and busy. This place is quiet and often only services one kid at a time during the week so its not overwhelming for a small kid getting used to the process. The gentleman takes his time and does a great job. Highly recommend.

    The hair stylist was super calm and patient with our kids and got their haircut exactly as we described.They have so many toys to keep the kids engaged until their turn. The place is a little small but overall it was a nice experience

    1000% recommend! We took our son for his first haircut and had the best experience! Omar was so kind to him and explained what he was doing to him every step of the way and very gentle. Omar also did a great job on my husbands hair. My husband said its one of the best haircuts hes ever gotten! Great atmosphere for kids and you can keep your kid busy while you get a haircut as well.

    Took my son to get a hair cut in this really nice place. They have two locations. They do kids as well as adults. The place is small, but nice. The stylist was really good. She did an amazing job giving my son a hair cut. I just wish they would add more kid chairs. Had a great experience. My child loves his new hair cut.

    I only bring my 3 and 1 year old here. The barber is very patient and gentle with my boys. The lady is super sweet and very helpful on maintaining my boys calm and happy. I highly recommend this place to anyone with kids that are ADD, ADHD, Austistic and even normal happy kids. God bless this business 🙏 🙌 👏 😌 ❤️

    Great set up for kids! My toddler got to watch a show while getting her hair done. The stylist did a great job on her bangs and was very patient and gentle. She got to pick out a bow and a pair of sunglasses afterwards and she’s very happy!!

    I took my Son for his first haircut and Omar was an absolute pleasure. His patience and calm voice is soothing to children and keep them comfortable.He played my sons favorite show and did things like spray water into his hand rather than spray his head directly.I will continue bringing my baby here.Well worth the 40 minute drive.Thank you Omar!

    After a great experience with one kid, I went back with both, a year later. I didn’t realize they were very busy and I should have made an appointment; but they remembered me and helped get both my kids hair cut without an appointment. They are awesome with kids even when the kids don’t like getting their hair cut, the kids enjoy playing while waiting, and the mere fact that they remembered me from a year before, means I’m always going to bring my kids back here when they need a haircut in Orlando. Really great experience and new customer for life!

    Pio-Pio is a fantastic place for children to get their first cut. My daughter did fantastic with Omar and he was so patient with her and gave us great advice on how much of her hair he should cut. I wish Google allowed me to put 10 stars.

    5 stars does not cover it! This place was a LIFESAVER! After trying to get our little 2y 9m haircut at MULTIPLE hair salons, looking up tips and tricks on how to successfully get a haircut, buying sensory scissors and not being able to EVER get it done, we were FINALLY able to get a successful haircut!!!! The last time we were able to even do a trim was as he slept in the car seat and we did it ourselves, so you can imagine how that turned out! He was diagnosed with Autism back in March and although he has come a LONG way since then, this haircut was a HUGE obstacle that we were able to overcome. We went hoping for the best, and expecting the worse all at the same time. But let me tell you, Maria was AMAZING! She was patient with our little guy. She waited until it was go time and although there were tears...lots of them..from not just the baby but us too, WE DID IT!!!!!!!!! Maria was sooooooooooo fast! She remained calm the entire time and never did she make us feel like this was too much like some other places we had been in the past, I hugged her so tight when everything was done. She moved right along with all his movements and he made out with an even cut and a happy family! He even left giving Maria a high 5 even though he fought with her throughout the whole cut lol! This is the first review I have ever given, but this is important for all my fellow Autism (and non autism) families that struggle getting their little ones haircut. DO NOT WALK BUT RUN to see Maria at this salon. We will forever be grateful to her and the staff at Pio Kids!

    We waited until after our son was 2 for his first haircut and were a little nervous especially since he doesn’t like people messing with his hair. They were awesome and super quick, our son loved his haircut and was entertained by sitting in a fire truck seat. They were so nice and sent me pictures they took of his first haircut. Amazing experience and we’ll be back for his next one!

    My son is two but was born with a lot of hair and his hair grows quickly so he has had many haircuts. This was our first visit here. The barber gave him the best and most even cut he has ever had. Edged up perfectly and did exactly what was asked for. My son was crying the whole way through and the barber never showed frustration. They were also right on time for our appointment. They have a play area for the kids with a lot of toys. We will definitely be using this shop for future haircuts and hopefully get the same barber. I wish I got his name for future appointments.

    The inside of this place feels like a snuggle. My son was so excited to sit down in the fire truck and watch his favorite show that Im not even sure he knew he was getting a haircut. The stylist was so gentle that even I, the normally over-worried mama, had nothing to do but relax and take way too many pictures. The haircut was fresh and we will definitely be back. 10/10

    Me and my girlfriend drove there for 30 minutes just to take our little angel Leah for her very first haircut right before her 6th months. I have to say we were very satisfied with our experience. The 3 girls that were there to take us in were phenomenal. They made us feel like we were at home and treated our daughter with much love and professionalism. Their staff was very attentive and caring about our daughters first experience and made her feel like a walk at the park. We were very pleased with the haircut and treatment while we were there. Very fun and caring staff. We will definitely will continue to come here for our daughters haircuts.

    We had our twin girls first hair cut here. I was so impressed by the quality and the speed. Also, I think she may be magic because my kids are chaos but they were angels during the whole cut. It was shocking. Super recommend this salon especially for first hair cuts.

    The 1st couple haircuts we both cried. But oh the patience Mr Omar has. We decided this was the place for us and boy did we get an early Christmas blessing this morning. At large part of the service was without screams and tears. I had to video it because I was in utter disbelief how accepting he was in such a short time.     Super super happy with my baby hair cut! I told her short on sides and trim on top and she was able to cut a fuzzy baby hair in minutes! And really good too! The hair cut looked like the baby was sitting still, thats how good it was. I will definitely come back!

    We took our 1 year old son there and Marcia was AMAZING!!! She was so good with him and his hair looks fantastic. She did exactly what we wanted and was able to not only keep a 1 year old from moving around and getting a messed up hair do she had bubbles, toys, a DVD, and an awesome strap that is comfortable around the waist of a child so mommy and daddy dont have to sit down while little ones are getting their haircut. She was AWESOME. We will definitely be returning for his next hair cut. Not to mention she gave him a certificate with a lock of hair, a balloon and a lollipop (which we opted out on because he is only 1) . She speaks perfect Spanish and English, the salon looks like a kids toy room.

    I brought my son here for his first haircut and was really happy with the results. I was so nervous about anyone touching his baby curls but Maria delivered exactly what I asked for.There were 2 people ahead of us (one women and one child) but we waited no longer than 25 minutes even with only one stylist working. Which was nothing with all the toys to keep my little one busy.This review would be 5 stars but I did notice that the car chair did not have a proper buckle, but was instead just tied around my sons lap. My son sits very still but I would consider this a safety hazard if your child is wiggles a lot.

    I brought my 2 sons here for a haircut on an early Saturday afternoon and they were seen right away. The staff there are so friendly and accommodating, and their salon is super kid friendly with toys, TVs and a bubble machine! My 18 month old was a nightmare during his haircut and she was still able to give him the exact cut I wanted with so much patience. At the end of their cuts they each got a prize and a balloon. Awesome customer service and for a great price - I would highly recommend them and will be returning for future haircuts for my boys. Thank you!

    Haircuts have always been a struggle for my 5 yr old. In the past we have had to restrain him, beg, plead, and bribe him just to get through a haircut. The clippers were also a big source of stress and fear for him. We tried this place today and they were wonderful! The stylist talked my son through everything that she did and he had a stress free haircut. It also happened to be a great haircut. We will definitely be coming here from now on. My son has sensory issues and she respected him and worked with him. It was amazing for all of us and he looks great!

    We had an amazing experience. This is where we took our toddler for his first haircut. The stylist was able to cut his hair while he kept moving his head continuously. He was oblivious to what was going on and was happy the entire time. We will be returning.

    Found this salon on Google this morning. After reading the great reviews we went to check it out - because there was no way I was going to let Great Clips butcher my kids hair again. Today was our first trip.I am so glad we came to Pio Pio! Maria is AWESOME!!! She is great with kids and super fast too!Whats that? Your kid moves a lot during hair cuts? No worries, Maria literally moves with them!My son got the best haircut hes had so far. Crisp, clean, and most importantly, EVEN.     Only place I take my daughter that I trust is going to cut her hair correctly every time. I have tried other places and they always cut her bangs wrong. The owner always fixes it.     I checked online for weeks for a place to get my twin 2 and a half year old girls hair cut and finally found Pio-Pio Kids Salon. There were other places here and there but a lot of them had some really bad reviews. I am SO happy I decided to take them here. Very nice family owned salon. Super kid friendly. My girls loved all the stuff there was to play with in the little play area. They keep the area super clean. Also the owner (I believe her name was Maria) was lovely. Very patient with my girls and the cuts came out great. Best of all she gave them both a cute first haircut certificate with a strand of their hair stapled onto it. They also got balloons and lollipops and cannot wait for their next haircut!

    Yesterday I took my 2 boys for a haircut. I was a little afraid about the virus but when Maria told me I had to make an appointment I knew she was being precautions. My son has autism so he soes not let anybody to cut his hair. Just Maria. We went there, it was just us and Maria, she was using a mask and a clear thing to cover her face. I felt to safe and protected.My boys had their haircut and we went back home.     First of all I just want to say I am a hairstylist myself but Ive always had a hard time cutting my sons hair and keeping him still. I was nervous to bring him to somebody else but he desperately needed a haircut. The place is beautiful and has plenty of toys, bubbles, movies and candy to distract your child when getting their haircut. My son loved it and didnt want to leave, I was completely satisfied with his haircut and how professional they are. We will definitely come back for his next haircut.

    Maria is the owner and best kids stylist I ever met. She is always so busy that I wonder how can she keep up with the demand. Weekends are particularly busy with her place. My son is one of those kids who cries like he is being tortured and wont stop wrestling. She manages to cut his hair evenly with all his ruckus in a couple of minutes. I took him once to other place and I could see that not everybody can do the same.She is very sweet and attentive. Speaks English and Spanish and her place is filled up with toys and this to entertain kids. I love the decoration of Pio Pio interior and how sge keeps adding new elements to entertain the kids. She has other stylists around and they are fine, they just lack the experience. Overall, she has a vibe and touch with kids and that is special.

    The great little place. You probably wouldnt find it if you werent looking for it because the plaza doesnt exactly have a lot of foot traffic but the hair stylist was very kind and was very good with our little girl. She let her pick what movie she wanted to watch and gently worked out any Tangles and helped her through her first haircut. We have gone back many times since then and we will continue to go as long as shes got a seat big enough for our little one.

    I have a 3-year-old who absolutely abhors haircuts. We have attempted doing it ourselves a few times, but since I dont have the training, its hard to get a decent cut.I learned about Pio Pio from parent reviews and testimonies. You see, I work with preschoolers and their families. Id frequently ask parents where they take their boy/s to get their hair cuts, and theyd say, Pio Pio on Semoran! Theyre great!Let me tell you, this place came as advertised. Very visually inviting for the kiddos- kitchen play area, train sets, cars, trucks, etc. Blippi was blasting on the T.V. My son wanted to sit on the car chair, which by the way, has a horn and sound effects!Things started off okay when my son sat down. I was preparing myself for the worst. He had his moments of fear, where hed try to rip the cape off and get out. But let me tell you, our stylist was INCREDIBLY patient....and FAST! My word!!! Shed also take out little toys in her drawer, which I now call her toy arsenal. LolMy son moved, she moved with him! He tried to touch his hair, she backed the scissors away. She never startled him with the spray bottle, but would prepare him by spraying her hands first. I mean, she gets first prize for patience, love, and expertise!When it was time to get the clippers out, which is the one thing my son is very scared of, she worked very quickly and efficiently. Yes, my son went a little ballistic, but we managed it as a team.Then, the time came for a prize. You see, after a haircut, the kids came pick a small prize. Liam got his play-doh, and the tears went away. Such an awesome place and we are so glad we came! We live in Ocoee, but will be making our trips to Casselberry/Winter Park for certain whenever its time for our son to get a cut. It was such a positive experience- not just for our kiddo, but for me as a mommy and my husband. He was incredibly impressed.

    Maria is the best! So patient (and fast). She can actually cut my sons hair short without leaving bald patches. The prices are reasonable, and each hair cut ends with a choice of candy and surprise. I absolutely recommend Pio Pio for your childs grooming needs.

    I originally went to Pio Pio to accompany my niece for her first fair cut (YIKES!). Truth be told, I was skeptic that my niece would not allow the haircut to take place since she does not like people playing with her head, but fortunately I was wrong. Right from the beginning, Maria asked my niece what movie she would like to watch and from there it was a piece of cake. My niece who is tender headed was able to get her hair done without any drama. If that werent nice enough she received a lollipop and and was allowed to choose a toy from the surprise box.I was so impressed with her work that I opened up to Maria about my recent traumatic hair experience. Long story short, I asked for a subtle balayage and ended up with tiger stripes. Just speaking to Maria, I was able to see that she was very knowledgable about hair and asked her if she could fix the disaster on my head. I am going to be completely honest with you, I do NOT trust hair stylist. I feel like I always ask for something and they just do what they want anyway. My dear Maria, is the stylist angel I have been waiting for.Ps. Her prices are pretty reasonable and there are enough toys to keep your kids entertained!

    Just wanted to give a shout out to the Pio Pio Kids Salon (they take adults too). My son who has severe anxiety and some special needs still hates haircuts but the owner Maria is so amazing with him. She is quick too. If you want to see a stylist give a portrait worthy haircut to a kid who is half upside down, ducking and weaving like a professional boxer, and with the 8 arms of an angry octopus, all while keeping a smile on her face and a gentle voice to boot, go to Pio Pio. She is even open to kids coming in to hang out with her assortment of toys and whimsical styling chairs (airplane and a car) just to get used to her and her tools.My son starts Pre-K VE on Monday and hes going to look like such a handsome little fella when he does. So if youre in the area look her up you wont be disappointed.

    Being a mother is one of the hardest jobs. Being a mother of a child with autism and sensory disorder is even harder. Especially when it comes to a haircut. We had tried a few different places for haircuts and they did a good job, but as my son has gotten a little older and stronger it’s become difficult and heartbreaking to get a haircut. We’ve tried everything. Then, a year ago I found Pio Pio in winter park. It’s been a life changing experience. My son is excited for his haircuts now. He knows the person who’s cutting his hair and he trusts her completely. Every haircut is perfectly done. She takes her time and explains what she is doing to him. The prize at the end and a lollipop is always his favorite part! 5 stars really isn’t enough for what they have done for us.

    Pio pio is a one of a kind kids salon. Treated a 2yr old nephew to his first haircut and he was super comfortable. Hairdresser loves kids&is great with making them feel safe&at ease. Kids have fun cars as salon seats, bubbles to enjoy, and videos to keep them entertained. Haircuts are stylish&professional. The end results was a gorgeous happy nephew.
