    This place is the absolute best. It’s super clean and all the staff here are super friendly and awesome with the kids. They are so patient and gentle. The atmosphere is super kid friendly. If you have a kiddo that is afraid of the barber this is your place. look no further. I would recommend booking an appointment because they are always booked. And make sure you tip well! They most definitely deserve it.

    Sharkeys for the win!This is literally the ONLY place I have 100% success with toddler haircuts. My little one hates haircuts but LOVES coming to Sharkeys. I have to praise the receptionist, Bailey for that. She is the absolute best! She was so lovely and engaging with my son. She had him so excited and confident getting into those cool chairs and chatted him up so playfully that he almost didnt want to leave. The stylists are quick and do a fantastic job with my sons hair. The fact that he is content to sit there in his favorite Lightening McQueen car, chatting up the lovely Miss Bailey, is everything to this satisfied mama. Thank you for making it a happy occasion for both of us!

    Have been here 3 times with my daughter. She loves it. She gets her hair cut, washed, and it includes nail painting, a braid, a ring, and a balloon. We’ve had Diana a few times and she’s great :).

    I’m so thankful they have places like this that can cut and work with such young children’s hair. I was worried to take my 6 month old to a regular hair cut place because not everyone has patients with a baby. They have things all over the salon to distract the kids while they get their hair cut. They had TVs and video games. The woman who cut my sons hair was incredible!! She was so gentle, patient and kind to my son. It was his first hair cut so they gave me a certificate for him, a piece of his hair and a picture! It really was such a fun experience for me and I know my baby won’t remember it but I’m thankful he was happy for his entire cut. I love this place.

    I brought my autistic daughter here for her first haircut today and we had an awesome experience. I am so grateful because it took me months to get my daughter to agree to get her hair cut, and about a week of talking her through the process before she was okay with going. I don’t know what would have happened if the experience was a bad one. But the staff was great (especially our stylist, Tiffany), the store was clean, and it went so well my daughter can’t wait to do it again! I was worried my daughter would have sensory overwhelm, but the way the salon is laid out was perfect.

    Place was clean and organized. I made a reservation online . When I got there they seated my child quickly. Very entertaining for the kids. Theu have TVs in every station with any request of channel . Music was fun as well. The seats are awsome with different themes like firetruck and racecar.The haircut was good. They also have teen section to play playstation while getting a cut. Girls section is super cute with a nails section too. Overall great place if you want your kiddo to be still and entertained while getting a haircut. In the end they give kids a ballon which is nice.

    Took my 3 year old daughter here for her first hair cut. I would be honest that I was a little bit nervous because she was scared in the beginning for her first haircut. But the staff was amazing to her. They were so kind and patient with her. They tried to speak, give her little toy, balloon, lollipop, ask if she wanted to watch tv. Just amazing. Emily was able to get a beautiful haircut and they also offer manicure on toddlers. So cute! Thank you so much and I will definitly come back. Would totally recommend this place for any haircut.

    We just got my son’s (2) first haircut here today, and it was a wonderful experience! He was very nervous at first, latching on to me and crying. We didn’t think it was going to happen. Then Robin stepped in and made it happen. She even started out the haircut with him sitting on my lap. She was so patient and good with children. By the end of the haircut he was comfortable enough to go sit in one of the cars on his own. His haircut is adorable and we will definitely be bringing him back to see Robin for future haircuts.

    I just read a disrespectful review and have been frequently at salon over 3 years and stress it’s a Very wonderful place for adults and kids.Diana did a great job on my hair they don’t just do kids hair but they are adorable with the kids and have fun things all around to calm them. All the girls are wonderful highly recommend. The receptionist Bailey and Han both great with kids receptionists are supposed to be on phone, they are always ready and helpful when needed,as is Chloe , Naomi and Juan all great with kids.

    We love Sharkey’s and come here with our son all the time. Our go-to stylist is Chloe. She is amazingly talented, detail-oriented and most importantly for us, patient!Quick background: Our son, who is almost four, is autistic and really, REALLY hates getting his hair cut. I have to hold him tight while he screams and squirms and I silently thank God for people like Chloe.But on the positive side, all of the staff are incredibly supportive and have gone out of their way to try and comfort my little boy (and me, for that matter).I noticed that some people have commented negatively about their kid’s hair being cut too short. I’m surprised because they always ask me how short I want my son’s hair cut. I always ask for it to be cut as much as possible for the reasons stated above, but I get that everyone is different. I would suggest that if you do have a particular cut in mind, show the stylist a photo. Or maybe call the salon in advance.

    I took my 4yo to get his haircut here, and they were fantastic. We worked with Diane mostly but everyone in the shop was kind, courteous and super friendly to both of my children. The shop was clean and we were in and out with no issues.My son has sensory issues especially with noise and they were so patient with him, this is one of the best haircuts we have ever had with him and I am so very very thankful that Sharkeys is here.Will definitely be going back and recommending to others.

    My son is Autistic and non verbal and the only person and the only reason I come here is for Juan he has the patience of a saint with my son and the hair cut always comes out great. For any other mom with an autistic child you know how hard it can be and how much others don’t understand it.

    I don’t ever leave reviews but Robin was amazing. My toddler was having an off day and didn’t want to sit for his haircut but Robin was so patient with him and let him “help” to keep him entertained in order to cut his hair. I highly recommend Sharkey’s to get your kids hair cut.

    Came to Sharkeys for my sons first haircut. We were looking for a special and fun experience for his first haircut and Sharkeys did a great job. First, I love that I can make an appointment online. It was so easy! When we got there the day of our appointment, the environment was great to help make it a fun experience for our son. He liked the car chair, and it was great to have the cartoons on to distract him. Diana did a good job and was so efficient! We got the first haircut package and we are so glad we did. Got a lock of hair, certificate and picture. Our son ended up liking it so much there he did not want to leave! We will definitely come back for his future haircuts.The only suggestion I may have to the business- is to space out the first haircuts on the schedule... it can get a little crowded in there with the families. Since a first haircut is a big milestone, understandably families want to be there and document the experience. There were 2 other families getting first haircuts on our visit and there isnt really enough room for everyone.

    I brought my autistic 3 year old in for her first haircut, we had Lindsey, and it was an absolutely phenomenal first experience. She was more than accommodating to my daughters sensory needs, was patient with her squirming, was friendly and reassuring, and worked quickly. We will definitely be back!

    Love this place, and followed Lyndsey Rios from another salon as she moved to this one! She is the absolute best. She has been cutting my son and daughters hair for the past 4 years. She is patient, sweet, professional, and cut both boys and girls hair beautifully. She knows how to do a fade blending so well and cut girls hair so pretty.

    This was our first time at Sharkeys. We drove 1.5 hours to come for both of my childrens first haircuts because we heard it was such a cool experience for kids. They were not lying! Everyone was so nice and their haircuts are amazing! They got the royal treatment as they really go all out for the kids. We will definitely be back!

    This place is SUCH a blessing, especially for kids who have hair-phobia and sensory sensitive. My 4-year-old really dislikes getting his haircut, and I’ve really tried to get him accustom to hair cuts but with no progress. We come here, and the ladies take him right in and make him feel at ease. They really go above and beyond to play with him and let me know that it’s a place where he can have fun and enjoy himself. I can’t recommend this barber enough! I know my child is in good hands.

    Anthony is real. I appreciate that he won’t give my kid a cut that won’t work for his hair. To me, that is a must in a stylist. I appreciate that i can get in and out in under 20 minutes. My child always likes his hair cut when we are done, and he enjoys the special balloon he receives. Personally, I think the price for a child’s cut is a little high, but is is comparable with other children’s salons in the area. The price is comparable but Sharkey’s cuts are WAY better than the cuts we have received at other children’s salons, so the value is higher.The owner is very honest and so sweet to the children. She remembers her clients!

    We took our 14 month old son in for his very first haircut today, which I was very nervous about! They were so patient and calm with my son who was having a meltdown. He cried through the whole thing, and they still did a wonderful job. We also received a little baggy of his hair and a certificate with a picture for his first cut! It was very sweet :)

    Juan was wonderful, patient and kind to my son. My son started to become anxious after witnessing a different child be hysterical over his haircut.     Had a great experience today with Anthony. He cut my two-year-old’s hair. It came out great, the session was quick and very professional. My son is sensitive to the buzz clippers and Anthony was patient and kind. The owner was also there and she was so very nice and accommodating.     What distinguishes this place was their approach to distracting kids while getting their haircut. My daughter had developed an aversion to haircuts from her last haircut place. For the first time ever she didn’t cry. They use dozens of televisions, various video games consoles to distract them. Everything was new and clean. I wish my pediatrician had this set up 😉In my opinion, there isn’t much of a difference in the actual kids haircut you get at any place. They all charge $20+ they NOT always look good, But this place addresses a major PAIN POINT with kids haircut, which is making it a MORE calm and FUN experience 🙏🏻🙏🏻

    Great experience with my one year old son getting his first haircut. The employees were very friendly and the haircut looks great. They have several different kid chairs/booths ranging from a police car, fire truck, race car, and princess car. They do adult haircuts as well.

    Haircuts are always horrible for my 3 yr old. We let it grow long because he hates clippers and how it sounds and feels. But Sharkeys has COMPLETELY changed our haircut experience. Their store is equipped to set you up for success with multiple options to choose from to make it a positive experience. They have tons of tvs, and cool cars to sit in. But what made it work was the stylist allowed him to sit IN MY LAP and still gave a fantastic haircut! I didnt focus on the quality of the cut, though it was still very good. I wanted to focus on changing his haircut experience. Sharkeys did that, and more. The stylist, Chloe, showed him how the clippers felt on his hand to make him feel comfortable. The lady at the front desk (I forget her name but it begins with an A) - she was absolutely amazing. She got his favorite youtube video on and even though he was still nervous, hardly cried at all and they were great. She also spoke to him and made him feel comfortable while Chloe did the cut.Amazing experience, great staff. I will return!!

    Best place for kids! Wonderful environment, very welcoming! They have video games for the bigger kids and cute power wheels cars as chairs for the little kids. Such a cute idea!     Such a cute place for kids cuts. My son chose the police car but they also have Frozen, a race car, and a fire truck and the stations have TVs with Netflix. They also have stations where kids can play video games. Anthony cut my son’s hair and he did a fantastic job! Plus he was super nice and amazing at dealing with a difficult child who does not like to have his hair cut. I will definitely be back!

    This is my boys second time at Sharkys this year & it was a good time again. First time we got Anthony and he was good. Nice,but quiet , and he was very gentle with my boy . This time we got this young lady from my pics 😊 I dont remember her name ( Im sure its on my receipt tho) and she was great too ! She was more talkative ,reassuring my baby boy he was doing a great job and that she was almost done,offered a lollipop from the beginning,also very gentle ,and gave a good second Sharkys haircut as well ! 😊💙 We have been happy with both our experiences so far 😊❤

    Maricel really knows what she’s doing in there. I’ve been going there for more than just a simple trim for awhile, so I know that she can do anything you want no problem. I’m rocking the cotton candy look and it’s amazing
