    Just had an amazing experience with Katalac Cuts at Hair Port Studios in Cocoa Beach! Kat is sharp, skilled, and so easy to talk to—she really listens and delivers exactly what youre looking for. The studio itself has a great vibe. The owners are incredibly welcoming; you can feel the pride they take in creating a warm, professional space. The husband is a top-notch barber, and his wife does beautiful work on the beauty side—they make a perfect team. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area!

    Called to get in for my son long overdue cut, he was unsure of new style and Kat took over from the time we called til we stepped in the shop, she had an idea once she seen what she had to work with, I walked out as a happy father and my son was very pleased. We enjoyed the atmosphere, felt like home and even had a little friend there to welcome us. Thanks again will definitely be regulars

    What a wonderful first experience my granddaughters had at this salon! They received the full service - wash, cut, and blow dry while they watched The Lion King on TV. Belinda and Papi’s hospitality made us feel warm and welcome. Thank you for great service at a reasonable price. We will come back on our next visit to Cocoa Beach.

    Belinda is the best hair dresser.I been coming to hair port studio for 6 years . Never had a bad experience. Papi is an excellent barber . The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Papi and mami treat you like family. I highly recommend this establishment.

    I came to see Belinda today to get my hair dyed. I was feeling very cautiously optimistic, but my expectations were definitely exceeded. The entire time I was very comfortable, Belinda communicated very clearly with me and was very polite. Everyone there was incredibly nice. It was definitely a comfortable atmosphere. The WiFi was great, and so was Luna. At some point Belinda’s husband had brought in fries and offered some to me as well as later offering me Chicken Alfredo. I was also consistently offered water and even further than the incredible service my hair came out great. I’d give them 6 stars if I could, one just for the very very cute dog

    Here on vacation from out of state … desperately needed a haircut. Called and got an appointment for next day. Belinda (Mami) and Nelson (Papi) welcomed me with open arms as if I had been a lifelong client. Very pleased with the time and consideration that Belinda took cutting my hair.     Belinda is incredible, she took the time to work with me fixing a “bad cut” and turning my hair into a stylish cut that looks and feels great.I have thick coarse hair that requires a lot of texturizing and she knew right away which style would work with my hair.They are a great team of talented stylist, the shop is clean, and the staff make you feel like you’ve known them for year!Many Thanks!I’m back in 2025- as always Belinda has worked her magic my hair looks fantastic!     This place is simply amazing, Nelson & Belinda make you feel like you’re family and they provide such a wonderful service. I got a haircut while on a work trip and I am so happy with how it turned out. Nelson is such a skilled hairstylist and so fun to talk to.     My family and I moved to the area in December and were in desperate need of finding a quality barber who is not only good at what they do but personable to work with my sons who both have issues that make new experiences difficult. From the first moment they walked in, the vibe was so welcoming that they went and explored to find toy’s and games. Papi (Nelson) and Mami are quickly becoming our favorite people.Best part is not only the experience (which means a lot to this dad) but also the incredible quality of the haircuts, shape ups and lines papi did on the boys hair. We’ve found our barber and genuine amazing humans!

    My wife first introduced me to this place, and Im glad she did. She knows how particular I am about who touches my hair, since Ive had some pretty bad experiences in the past. I made my first appointment with Belinda for a cut, color and highlights right before going on vacation. I was THRILLED with how my hair turned out, it looked fantastic! I was super impressed with both her and Nelson, their outstanding customer service, making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. They both engage their customers, makes them laugh, offers water, coffee etc. Both are extremely talented and I personally will never go to anyone else again as long as they are around. You will NOT be disappointed coming here, I promise! Its like someone else said, when you come here, its like youre coming back to visit friends, not just to get your hair done.     Such a great experience. Amazing people. They make you feel at home. Belinda did a fantastic job on my hair. She is the first one that has cut my hair way I like.     This is by far one of the best haircut experiences Ive had. The owners are great and very welcoming. Its almost like your going to see friends and just so happen to be getting a haircut.     I was introduced to Papi(Nelson) from Hair Port Studio by a relative that lives locally. I come from Bradenton, Florida just to have him do my hair. Not everyone can cut the type of hair I have and I’m very particular in who I let cut it. He takes his time and not only cuts my hair but then continues to trim my mustache and shave me. Their shop is very welcoming and I walk away very happy with his attention to detail. His wife Mami (Belinda) also does hair and I intend to bring my wife to their shop too. If you are a local I can only say how lucky you are to have them nearby. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

    I found Hair Port Studio had amazing reviews and decided to take a chance. I am here for the winter this year and couldnt get away with not getting my hair taken care of. I have been very spoiled since my daughter is my hairdresser. Belinda was absolutely amazing. Not only did she match the color perfectly but I went out on a limb and got a new hairstyle which I absolutely love. I would highly recommend this salon.     Such an amazing atmosphere. Belinda did such an amazing job with my hair. She was able to go through the entire process and made me feel very comfortable the entire time. Papi was such an amazing person, helped with cutting my sons (2&6year olds) hair and played with them while I was getting my hair done with Belinda.     Hair Port Studio was a great experience, from the moment I stepped foot into the studio, i was simultaneously greeted by their warm smiles and their very affectionate pup, Luna. They made short work to make you feel comfortable and settled in.Nelson & Belinda have given me great hospitality and service unmatched by any other studio Ive been to.I was reluctant to leave when they finished the excellent cut they gave me, but absolutely excited to show it off!Youd be doing yourself a disservice to not give it a chance.     After being in Cape Canaveral for almost 8 months for work, I was very happy to find this hidden gem. I read the reviews and made an appointment a few days in advance and I am beyond satisfied with the level of the haircut that Nelson gave me. It is a 10 out of 10 for the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Nelson was precise and accurate with razor, straight edge razor and scissors but the overall experience was the highlight of my cut. The hot towel/eucalyptus lotion on my face and beard was another added touch that I was not expecting but glad he incorporated into the haircut.I wish I had found this place back in October when I first got here. If you want a haircut, you can go anywhere, but come here for an amazing haircut, professional service and an overall barber experience and you will not want to go anywhere else.     I do not sit well in salon chairs for long before getting fidgety and made sure to explain my previous horror story hair experience at another local salon. The Lady was extremely patient with me cutting off half an inch at a time to make sure we were on the same page and it was the style I wanted. The couple who own the place are super sweet and friendly. Feels more like going to a friends house for a cut: only missing the wine ;)

    LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE. Both sides are amazing although never receiving a hair cut from Belinda. I have no doubt she is amazing at what she does. Awesome lady to talk to and her husband, I get my haircut all the time from him. He is great with a pair of clippers! ONLY barber shop out here that will give you a FRESH clean cut.     This was hands down the best experience I’ve had at a barber shop. I stopped in for just a beard trim before my wedding. Nelson not only tamed my unruly beard but took the time to shave my head with a straight razor to make sure I was all cleaned up. Customer service was great and he even wraps your face with a hot towel before he shaves you.

    Papi and Mami are the best in the business hands down. And after 21 years in the military and 4 years as a police officer, I have had a lot of hair cuts. They do require an appointment; something I had rarely if ever done. But they are beyond worth it. You are treated as part of their family when you visit. And their abilities and professionalism would make it foolish to even consider trusting anyone else with your hair cut.

    I am a black professional (attorney) who has just moved to the area. I have had a barber in Apopka who had cut my hair for the past 15 years and has always made sure I had a professional appearance. I felt like I was “cheating” on my barber with this new place, but after visiting Nelson I feel like I can file for a full “divorce”. I no longer have to travel over an hour to Apopka to have my hair cut. Nelson did a great job and I love the friendly, family atmosphere.     Everybody needs a little Belinda in their life! This girl is so so good at what she does and she is friendly and funny and super cute. I walked in last minute and she just happened to have a spot open and took me right away. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier with a cut and color. She gave me a trim which was exactly what a wanted. A true trim...not several inches off like some places will do and she matched my natural color and covered all my “shinies” perfectly!     This place is the real deal. Great vibe and the owners showed their appreciation thru their energy and excitement for every person that walked in. I just came off a bad haircut and was a few weeks out.     Whats up, Brevard county doesnt have many options when it comes to multi cultural ie ethnic hair cutting. The long county in florida 71 miles, you could ask anyone where in each distinct area who has what coverage that can provide these styles tailored to these communities. Papi and Mami, represent the cape Canaveral community well. I was referred to them by a friend in the area who had a friend who gets his hair cut there, and i being from eau gallie Melbourne had to get a hair cut and shave bad while i was in the area for a few days. I understand the building is being possibly torn down soon and if so it would be a shame, unless the city covers the transfer costs. The atmosphere is fun and decorative with TV and WIFI, the hospitality is actually above average, you almost dont want to leave. The location is right next to city hall which makes it even more a staple of the community. Fun to talk to while you get your hair cut, or wait in the love seats waiting for your turn. Air conditioning pumping so your safe from the florida jungle swamp humidity outside, you cant ask for more. i was actually really surprised. I think i will reach out to city council member Angel Raymond and advocate to protect this minority owned business.     Was a walk-in with no appt. I was told to come back at closing time, and I would be worked in. I showed up at closing time, and was greeted with a cold beer while I waited for my barber, Nelson, to finish his last customer. I dye my hair anywhere from bright red to a dark magenta and Belinda has done wonders with my head for over a year now. I found Belinda after moving to the area and in desperate need of a decent hair cut and color. What I got was much more than I ever expected. The shop itself is SUPER cozy and has a friendly, family atmosphere. Regulars often drop by just to say hello to Belinda and Papi. I learned how to play dominoes while waiting, and one night after I was the very last appointment, they shared their home cooked meal with me (#bless).
