Joann listened to my specific request of not using thinning sheers even though I have thick curly hair, she cut my hair dry which is a preferred method for curly hair. I knew then that she was in tune with the proper procedure for doing a master cut. She gave me an extra conditioner time on my hair which created a super soft texture. She also only took small pieces of my hair to use the curling iron. Which created soft smooth style. I also was treated to an eyebrow color and waxing while my hair conditioner worked in. This is a full customer centered salon. Joann is equivalent to a NYC high end salon.

We popped in for a quick cut while we were getting coffee at Cloud Parlor in the same shopping center. Miss Joann was so amazing and kind to my daughter. She’s on the spectrum and Miss Joann somehow made my daughter feel right at home and so comfortable! Not an easy task! We showed her a few pics and she nailed it. Will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

Im a canadian visiting Cocoa Beach for a week and needed a last minute haircut. Walked-in and was greeted with open arms! I was lucky enough to have Joann take care of me. My hair was a mess and Joann did a great job cutting and styling it. I asked for suggestions about my hair color and she was very helpful. I also picked up conditioner intended for swimmer hair that she recommended. We recently moved to the area and Im so glad I found my new hair salon!

I was in Cocoa Beach for my Honeymoon when my extensions turned orange! It was horrible BUT Joann and Brad were life savers. My extensions had to get bleached and with the toner Joann provided to me, my extensions are back to my beautiful blond color! I definitely plan on ordering my extensions from Joann! Brad and Joann are amazing, professional and, very positive! I wish they lived in Colorado! Thank you both for everything you did for me! I’m forever grateful! 😍

Totally recommend this salon! Joan accomplished exactly what I was looking for with my highlights after only a brief consultation. She’s knows her stuff, even if she gets there a little differently than one might be used to - trust her process! Then she styled it in a way that had me leaving feeling great! We had fun and many laughs along the way, I’ll definitely be back.

Joann is amazing. Not only personable, but goes above and beyond to give you exactly what you want. I chose a very pearl blond with some pink highlights. The outcome was classy and fun. I have medium-long hair curly hair and have a hard time finding people to cut my hair. Joann knew exactly how to cut my hair. I wanted some more layers and volume. She cut off the dead part and blended it perfectly. She was so fast too; I was done in less than 15 mins. I cant wait to go back! 100% recommend if you have curly hair.

Joann and Brad are THE best. My friend and I were visiting from Wisconsin and I wanted to get my haircut in Cocoa Beach, so I stumbled in to JK5 Hair Salon and was immediately greeted with confidence, warmth, and kindness! Joann is very outgoing and made me feel very comfortable. And I could tell Brad was going to make sure I loved my haircut and style after telling him about a horror story of the past. Joann also took care of my eyebrows - I trusted her to dye them and wax them, which I’ve never had done before! hThey were fun to chat with, inviting, and made me and my friend feel right at home. Also, my friend got a Brazilian blowout which Joann did very professionally and at the most reasonable price I’ve heard of!

JoAnn and Brad are seriously the best. I am a local and have been getting my hair done for years in Cocoa Village. I was ready for a change. I am glad that I took a chance on the dynamic duo! The salon is incredibly clean!! And, the vibe is awesome and relaxed. They are very knowledgeable about products and how to keep hair healthy. That is important to me because I like long, highlighted hair and I go to the beach or swimming in a chlorine pool almost every day. They know their stuff!!

I was tired of my hair and decided I needed a change. I saw JK5 Salon had all 5 stars so I decided to give them a try. I was able to get an appointment almost immediately. JoAnn is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. She listened and cut my hair exactly as I wanted. I met Joann at another salon and followed her to JK5 . I’m a mature:) client and I love that she always compliments and never tries to encourage me to color away my grey.Joann instead focuses on styling my long hair without pushing me to cut off my long locks.Also love their products which I can use sparingly with great results.. Oh, and the music in the salon rocks ! ( Not in a hard rock way…it’s just cool :)

Let me just say , do not be fooled. This salon is 100000% amazing ! Joanne made me feel so loved and special! I came on vacation from Las Vegas , where trust me we have many choices for salons but my experience here was hands down thee best experience I have ever had. We laughed , we chatted and we shared our stories , I felt truly like a have a beautiful new friend since going there today and my hair looks amazing !! I went from dark brown to light blonde and my hair (which is fine) feels so rehydrated and it’s brought back my sparkle ! She is a beautiful soul and to me I’d rather spend my money with someone I KNOW is a genuine human being ! Brad is excellent!! I started getting my haircuts with Brad about 10 years ago when he worked at a chain-salon on Merritt Island and then Cocoa Beach. He teamed up with Johanne and they now have a lovely independent locally owned salon. Today was my first appointment at their new salon and my haircut was again awesome. JK5 is my new go-to salon. I moved to Cocoa Beach a couple of months ago & JK salon was the 1st salon I went to. JoAn & Brad were fantastic. Very welcoming, it’s a fun atmosphere. JoAn did my hair & my daughter’s. We went from black hair to light brown and full highlights. I also did the Brazilian Blow Out and it was very good. I’m back again to get another one. I sure recommend this Salon!
