    Update: My 2nd experience was just as amazing as the 1st. The only problem is me not listening to Bill and going for a trim frequently, like every 3 months to keep my hair healthy. No excuse because he is fabulous and VERY EXPERIENCED. Read his bio.My first experience was amazing. 8 search for hairdressers in Destin with 5⭐. Bill is very knowledgeable and professional. The energy he emits is so calming and contagious friendly.My initial request was to trim a few inches to take off the damaged ends and add body. He asked if I would blow dry my hair 🙄, reluctantly I agreed. I do love my style because it frames my face and I have a lot of body which does hide my thin hair (age).

    Bill is a very talented hairstylist and Im so glad I found him! Ive tried three salons since moving to Destin and none were the one. Bill is The One!I hadnt had highlights for two years (thanks COVID) and had let my hair grow mid-length. My fine hair didnt respond well and I was feeling pretty frumpy - until Bill. Today he gave my hair new life - a beautiful new color and an awesome, stylish cut. My hair is bouncy and so shiny and the cut is very flattering - Ive had compliments all day on my hair!I appreciate that Bill is a no-nonsense guy, hell tell you what he recommends and he doesnt try to sell products or a look that wont work for you.     Okay if you are hesitating to book an appointment with Bill DONT!! I have long hair and came in for a color plus a trim. Im always extremely nervous trying new hair stylist and havent found one since im roughly new to the area! This angel got me a color you only see in magazines!! Bill was very honest which I LOVED and not discouraged by my long hair. I couldnt be happier and will be telling all my girls about this hidden GEM! SERIOUSLY BOOK WITH HIM NOW

    Went from blonde for YEARRRRS. Found Bill and will never go to anyone else. What he did to my hair, omg IM OBSESSED! And that’s an understatement. My husband also got his haircut from him, with every other time he has gotten his haircut he always ended up not liking it but Bill did not disappoint at all! He loves it!     Bill bill bill... what Can I say?  Not only is he friendly and fun to talk to..he is an amazing colorist and hairstylist. Its so hard to find and meet a great hairstylist who you can trust your hair with but I can say Im so glad I met Bill. I cannot trust anyone with my hair especially because I have long thick straight hair and I have had bad experiences in the past. He does free consultation so you can tell him exactly how you want your hair done and what your budget is. He takes his time with each customer, he actually listens and cares about what you want and does not make you feel rushed. After that, he works his bill magic which is what I call it because my hair comes out so beautiful!! Last time, I wanted a red balayage and it came out beautifully. This time I wanted to switch up to a purple color and it came out SO beautiful. The picture below shows you how versatile it can be as well.. under regular lighting in the bathroom the purple color is subtle but once you open those blinds and the light shines through... the purple color is vibrant!!! Im just loving this new color on me so much. He does my hair exactly how I ask him to and thats what only great hairstylist with experience can do! Thank you Bill, as I always say you are amazing!!

    Bill Trotter, deserves a million stars! I am overwhelmed at the absolutely perfect blonde shade he achieved with my hair but it’s not just about hair, it was the overall experience I received. He’s an absolute delight to be around, he’s a not just a hair pro, he’s got a fantastic personality and I could have stayed in his salon all day chatting with him. This salon is very welcoming, comfortable and I could just keep going on but what I really liked was it’s got that boutique feel, not like these commercialized salons where you just hear noise etc so enjoyable and I can’t wait to go back!Thank you so much, Bill!     Bill Trotter is an artist with hair! I have been to many salons and I can say from experience that Bill really knows his craft... Besides being a delightful person, he asks good questions and listens to what the client wants. I had highlights and a cut and I couldnt be happier with the result.     In love with this wash and wear pixie cut from Bill Trotter-I tried forever to find someone to do a pixie but was finding portfolios full of long layered cuts (gorgeous) but Bill appeared to be the pixie guy and he absolutely is! If you’re looking for someone to give you a perfect short cut this is the fella! Thank you!

    Bill is amazing! He really cares about his clients and how they feel. I believe he puts his heart and soul into your experience and genuinely wants to make his clients happy. I went in for highlights but Bill with almost 40 years experience let me know he could get my hair several shades blonder without bleach! It looks and feels so healthy.     Bill Trotter is amazing! I have long, thick hair and am very picky when it comes to my hair. In 2017 I went to a different hairstylist that that was highly recommended by a trusted family member and I ended up regretting it…It took the stylist hours to do my hair in a color I hated. It was a horrible experience and it took me more than a year to get the courage to see another stylist. Needless to say, my hair was long-overdue for treatment by the time I met Bill in 2018.I was very nervous for my initial consultation with Bill, but I immediately felt at ease. He was honest with me about the ideas I had for my hair and recommended other options that would repair any damage until my hair was corrected. My actual hair appointment experience was quite different from the one I had with the other stylist in 2017. Bill made me feel like he had been my stylist for years. He was honest, friendly, and made my hair so healthy. I have also had so many compliments about my hair since Bill started styling it. I will not go to another stylist again! Thanks Bill!

    Bill did such an amazing job! Ive had the same stylist since I was 6 and was nervous about having someone new touching my hair... He made me feel so comfortable and knew exactly what I wanted. Not to mention my schedule is a little hectic and he was so nice to squeeze me in at last minute(which was so thoughtful) thanks to Bill I have a new style and more confident than ever!     At 54 I decided to let my silver hair shine but I didn’t have the patience to wait for it to grow out. I did some research and found all the great reviews about Bill. I scheduled an appointment, talked to him about what I wanted, and 2 hours later I had silver highlights that blended perfectly with my old box color! Bill actually listens to his clients and is fun to chat with as well. He is a superb colorist and I will never go anywhere else for my hair needs.

    I moved to the area from Colorado and was super nervous to find a new hairstylist. I have super thick and long hair so it can be a challenge to find someone who knows what they are doing with my hair. Bill was top-notch!     Bill is an outstanding colorist and hairstylist. I was his client for more than 10 years in PA at the salon he owned. His eye for color is fantastic; I always get compliments on my hair color. He was able to cut and style my unruly curly hair while taking into account my desire for a quick morning routine. I hope Florida appreciates the stylist and colorist they got when Bill decided to leave the cold temperatures of PA!

    Bill is amazing he took my hair that had multiple shades of fantasy colors that had been washed in multiple times after multiple salons turned me down and made my hair new again just in time for my wedding I left feeling uplifted and sure as hell looking a lot better!     I have been going to Bill for the last 3 years and never, and I mean NEVER, will I go to anybody else. A literal hair wizard. I have insanely thick, wavy, long darker blonde hair and like my hair platinum blonde and Bill knows how to do it RIGHT. Seamless highlights and great color tone. Best hairstylist I’ve ever been to in my 26 years of life!!!!!

    I went in for an appointment and the hairstylist I had booked didnt show up. Bill was super helpful and offered to do my haircut when he was done with his current appointment. He delayed plans that he had to take care of me and was extremely accommodating. My hair is very fine and very straight and not very easy to get right, Bill did a great job. Would recommend!

    Being new to the area I was very worried about who I would find to become my new stylist. Having very long, thick naturally curly hair most stylist tend to do what they believe is best. Immediately upon meeting Bill he put all my worries and anxieties to rest. He is very easy to talk to about your wants from the color to the style. I absolutely LOVE BILL.... he did such an amazing job on my hair, so well that right after leaving I had three different people stop and ask me where I had it done!!!     Bill is amazing! I followed him around central PA for 20+ years. When I wanted a change about 10 years ago, he accepted rhe challenge. I went from highlights to a color that matched my skin tone.     Ive been looking for a new stylist and tried a few in the area but Ive decided Bill is worth my loyalty and Ill be returning. His cuts are definitely on mark (hell talk you through what is flattering for your face shape and youll get what you ask for) and hes done a color/highlight that was dead on too (and hell talk to you about skin tone vs color as well). Hes relatively new to the area, so you can still get an appointment with not too much forethought - but this wont last long.

    Years ago, I worked for a very popular celebrity. I traveled everywhere. My head has been touched by more stylist than you can imagine. I’ve seen some of the best ones around the world.     As a natural redhead I was very resistant to trying any color. Bill actually managed to match the deep, luxurious copper red that I had in my prime. Dont stop at the color though. Bill is a true artist with cuts. Whatever your hair type Curly Straight long short he can make you look beautiful

    Bill did my hair in PA and always gave me my vision. Always a natural look for me and it never looked just done. I loved the colors he did on his younger clients even if I wasn t edgy enough for them. Hated when he relocated to Florida but he left me in capable hands.     I came down to Destin area with some friends and one night we decided to try to lighten my hair with box dye from Walmart. Huge mistake. I had horrible orange tiger stripes all throughout my hair. I did some research and found Bill and I called him the next morning. I had my appointment later that day and he did such an amazing job!! I had a lot of damage from the bleach the night before but now I have an awesome balayage and soft hair. Totally recommend.

    First went in for a cut- I have very fine hair and he did an excellent job, I received so many compliments, I told him I was displeased with a previous color, he offered to come in early for a color later that week - love the way it turned out.
