    I choose Destin hair studios to get ready for my big day and was so happy I picked this place my hair and makeup lasted all day right up to my 6:00 wedding. My only complaint I just wished the lady put a little more hairspray in my hair to keep my curls and my daughters curls longer.     My daughter and I were visiting the area for a getaway and unfamiliar with any of the local salons. We were able to get right in and Kelly did a great job washing , trimming , and styling my hair. She was so pleasant and sensitive to the fact that I couldnt get my ears wet due to recent surgery. I would highly recommend this salon. Thanks again for everything.

    Absolutely wonderful place for any bride to be! Kristina did a fabulous job on making my day perfect! On a windy day, I knew I could not secure my hair enough to withhold the windy beach wedding!Made a short notice appointment and ended up with them working me in and the result was blissful!My wedding was perfect and this group of professionals made it special!

    Absolutely phenomenal! She cut my hair exactly the way I explained and suggested things I didnt think about. Since having the cut, I definitely appreciate the thinning and subtle layers. The partial highlight is also absolutely gorgeous and Kristine was super friendly on top of it, thus time flew by. Will go back for sure when I need to get my hair done again.

    Hi Kellie, it Michelle from Charleston SC. You did color on me when I was vacationing June 28. Did my root coverup and pulled with a toner through the ends. I was hoping to get my husband to send me back to do again LOL! Definitely love it and Love the Aiir texture spray.I know you said some 6ni ? And can not remember the toner.     Short story time; my best friend was getting married and ended up firing the stylist she had booked /on her wedding day/. A few hours before the most important moment of her life, I made the emergency call to Destin Hair Studio and after explaining to Kellie the catastrophe that had ensued, she was beyond eager and willing to ensure our Bride got the services she needed. Kristine did fantastic work, in such short notice, and we were beyond happy with her styles. Beautiful, professional studio with the friendliest and most helpful ladies we could possibly ask for.10/10 will recommend.

    About a month ago I had a horrific haircut at another local salon. I began my desperate search for help about a week ago, and came across Destin Hair Studio. I reached out, and heard back from Kellie Hyer right away. She took time out of her evening to talk with me and suggested that I book directly with her. I just had my appointment with her today and it was fantastic. She is kind, caring, and really listened to what I wanted to achieve. She did a great job of setting my expectations for this cut as well. Not only did I leave with my hair issue fixed, I left happy. Thank you Kellie! Cant wait to book with you again.

    Hair by Kellie was awesome! I had a beach wedding in October 2017 and she did the most amazing job! She did my 3 bridesmaids hair and my hair/makeup. Everyone at the ceremony complimented about how our hair stayed put and didn’t hardly move even with the strong breeze (while a tropical storm was moving in!) The makeup was natural but flawless. Pricing is excellent and she is wonderful to talk to as well. She came to the house we were renting to do everything so we didn’t have to drive to and from the salon. I went in June to have a trial run on my hair before we took engagement pictures that evening and I loved my hair then - it was even better (which I didn’t know was possible) for the wedding. I would highly recommend Kellie Hyer!!

    Kellie is amazing! Im from out of town and this was my first time visiting Destin. I got my nails done at Harbor Nails that morning and asked if they knew of a good hair stylist who can do a wash and blow dry on my curly hair for a wedding. They recommended Kellie and so I called her and I was in luck! She squeezed me in to her busy schedule and was great! So friendly, her salon is chic, clean with modern decor and she had the latest hot products that celebrities are using and salons down the street dont have. You can see that she clearly works hard and takes pride in her work. Looking forward to seeing you on our next vacation. I got several comments about my hair at the wedding. Thank you!

    I have been coming to Christina with my hair cut/color needs for over 3 years now! I followed Christina to Destin Hair Studio because I have never had so many compliments about my hair than I have since Christina started doing it! Christina is extremely professional and I always look forward to my appointments just to sit in her chair and chat knowing I will leave looking and feeling amazing! I love the atmosphere at the studio, everyone is amazing and the ambiance is always calm and relaxing! I recommend her to all that ask who does my hair and I recommend her to all here as well!

    After over 2 years of not having my hair done, I came to see Kellie and gave her quite the challenge. She accepted it with grace and did an AMAZING job on my hair!! I literally haven’t felt this good about myself in years. It’s crazy what a good hair session can do for your confidence.     Best haircut I’ve ever received. I felt comfortable immediately. I explained how I wanted my haircut in my own, somewhat weird way and they knew exactly what to do. They take their time and are incredibly personable with you. Kelly and Joy are the coolest women to sit and talk with! I’d go just to hang out with them. I’ve been there for my last three cuts and will continue to use their service. They are locally owned and love the community. Go check them out! You won’t be disappointed.

    I first and foremost know how scary it can be trying find the perfect place for your hair and makeup. I traveled from Tennessee to Florida for my wedding. Rest assured this salon is it! Kellie did an amazing job on mine and my daughters hair. I wish I could remember the stylist who did our makeup, but she was phenomenal! I’m so happy with our look! They were so sweet, and the salon is beautiful!

    Bill is Amazing and such a friendly happy man. I highly recommend him! If you are looking for a new look or just a great haircut he is the guy for you! I’m moving back to Texas and he is going to be hard to replace! Kellie was doing my hair first and she is so Awesome! She spends Sunday with her family and due to my work schedule I have to go in on Sunday to get my hair done. I was very pleased that I still have a great hairstylist either way, these to are an incredible team!! Love you both and going to miss you when I go back to Texas next month!     Ask for Christine ! She does wonders. She did a great job with our three year old who was less than excited about getting a big boy hair cut but she was gentle, fast, and did a great hair-do. She also did my hair and my significant other’s hair. We all have become her new regulars.

    Joy is amazing!! She knows her color , my hair was dark and she turned me blonde, without any of that orange color. People couldn’t believe she achieved that in one visit .. I have had the most compliments I’ve ever had on my hair. I love the cut as well!! All the girls are very friendly and make you feel welcome.. I will definitely be back !!

    Cant recommend Kellie enough! I came in with a photo of the hairstyle I wanted and she styled my hair exactly as I imagined. Plus, as someone who doesnt wear ANY makeup and is relatively uncomfortable with it, I was beyond thrilled with the airbrush makeup Kellie did for me. Shes easy to talk to, professional, and has a lovely salon--couldnt ask for more.

    Visited the studio for the first time today and was very happy with the experience! Christiana was super friendly and took excellent care of me and my hair. Was a little vague beyond a trim as I didnt really know what I wanted... Thankfully Christiana was able to suggest and execute a cut that looks great!     Joy is absolutely amazing! She did balayage on my hair and I have never had any color done before, so I was nervous. She listened to all my requests, took so much care with my hair, and the result is better than I ever could have asked for! My hair looks beautiful!!!!     Just stepped out of the Destin Hair Studio and I have nothing but good things to say! :) I was able to book a last minute appointment and chose the studio because of the high reviews it received. The atmosphere is very comfortable, intimate, and chic. Roger took wonderful care of me. He listened carefully to my thoughts about my hair and didn’t rush me or push ideas. He offered his expert advice and checked in several times to make sure I was comfortable with how much length he was taking off, shape, etc. The finished product is exactly what I was hoping for! My hair feels healthy, refreshed, and lovely. And Roger’s warm personality made the whole experience such a joy! I will definitely be back.

    It was hard getting a good hair salon that can provide not only good customer service but also know what they are doing. I got it all from this hair salon. I did my research and found this hair salon in Destin. I booked Christina as the one to give me a hair cut after reading reviews about her on vagaro.com and I thought why not just give it a try. I arrived at the hair salon and Christina was not only friendly but also very professional. she asked me if i wanted anything to drink but i declined since Ive had my breakfast before I headed to this place. she asked me what do i really want to do with my hair and I told her exactly what i needed (after much deliberation). I needed the haircut as my hair was giving me issue such as migraine. She showed me few pictures and I told her what I wanted. First we colored my silver hair which i think i got it from my mum (came out earlier - I am just 36 years old). We chatted a lot and that made the time goes by quickly then she proceeded with washing the color off my hair, cut and blow dried my hair. she styled my hair with big perm? i think and i looked my age... :) but i kinda liked it since my hair always looked the same. I was so happy that i met Christina as she knows what she was doing. she made me feel comfortable and i would definitely book her again in the future. Great service and super friendly is a bonus!!!     Kelli has been styling my hair for a little more than a year now. She has helped tame my super thick hair while giving me the low maintenance style I need for my busy lifestyle. She has a very light and gentle touch, which is important to me since I suffer from chronic pain and arthritis. She gave my daughter her 1st haircut, which is a very special memory for our family.Kelli is also super fun to be around and we always look forward to seeing her for anything from simple trims to full on makeovers!! Having her as a hairdresser is a special blessing!! We love her and will even make the 90 minute drive to see her when we move this summer!

    I started using Destin Hair studio after visiting several supposed top salons in the area. Bleaching hair takes an expert, Kellie and her staff are amazing! I have Barbie bleach blonde hair from a brunette with no damage now that I get my hair done at this salon! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is amazing! Highly recommend Kellie Hyer

    Amazing experience! I had Christina as my hairstylist and she did A M A Z I N G. She understood exactly what I was going for, even though I didnt know the actual hairstylist terms of what I wanted. Ended up with a icy blonde balayage on medium/dark brown hair. Only took about 2/2.5 hours and my hair didnt damage at all from the lightening, it turned out softer and more repaired than before.I only had Christina, however, Kellie was also there and she was just as nice and accommodating. I will definitely come here again whenever Im in the area.

    I was in town for the weekend visiting with family and had been desperately needing a haircut. Found this salon online and read all the positive reviews, and since it was right across the street from where we were staying I thought Id give it a try. Just got a shampoo, cut and dry, but Bill did a great job and new exactly the style I was wanting! They were professional, fast and friendly. Perfect experience - I would recommend you use this studio for your hair needs!

    I live out of town, and I visited Kellie when I needed an updo and makeup for a beach wedding. She came highly recommended. She was truly talented and created the perfect beachy-do that stayed in all day and got many compliments. She was a pleasure to work with, lots of fun and creative. I highly recommend her for special events, weddings and as your regular stylist.

    My beautiful long hair was he jnes by a supposed top salon on the area! When I say rubies I mean my hair had breakage at 3 inches from bleach overlap. When I first came to Destin Hair studio, now my hair is transformed! I will never go anywhere else ever! My hair is amazing

    I was in Destin on business and decided to impulsively get my haircut. I am so glad I did! Roger gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten. He is a perfectionist and it shows in the cut I got. Icing on the cake; Roger was so nice and amiable that, by the time I left the salon, I felt like I’d made a friend. I would highly recommend this salon and Roger in particular.

    I was in the area for some training and just googled top rated hair salons, and this shop definitely didn’t disappoint! I have super long, dark hair, and wanted to go a bit lighter with an ombré, and add in some red and copper, and I don’t trust a lot of people with my hair, but Joy did a fantastic job with the dye job! It was exactly what I wanted. She is a dang magician with colors. And me being in the military she knew exactly how to keep the color in regulations. The whole process took quite a long time (I think 5ish hours), given the length of my hair, and the color job, but she stayed well after closing to make sure it was done correctly. It really helped that she had such a warm, friendly, and likable personality to make the time go by quicker! I definitely would recommend this shop! And especially Joy!! Thanks again!

    In my opinion, there is NONE BETTER than Joy at Destin Hair Studio ! Joy knows her stuff and really put my mind at ease as the process of my perm went on. She took someone else’s mistakes (previous perm at another local salon) and gave my hair just the treatment it needed. NEVER have I ever had such a soft perm. For the first time in years I am proud of my hair. THANK YOU JOY !!! I will be returning to Destin Hair Salon for ALL of my hair needs.

    I was in Fort Walton Florida on vacation from Memphis,Tn. after having my hair colored the week before. The color took 2 trips to the hair studio because the color needed couldnt be accomplished in one trip so I was told. I had blonde hair before my visit to the Memphis hairdresser except for the grown out roots, the color to be accomplished was icy blonde. What I ended up with was big bird yellow , Awful!! Never in my life has my hair looked so horrible. I managed to get in to see Roger, a color correction specialist at Destin Hair Studio in Destin Florida. Roger is an angel straight from heaven working miracles. I could now stop hiding underneath a hat and enjoy my vacation.... even though I live hundreds of miles away, I will be back. Thank you Roger and Destin Hair Studio!!!!❤️
