    Shae was my stylist on 2 separate occasions in March. She was professional, educated me on my hair health, and helped me manage my expectations. She did this in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. I also observed her work with diverse clientele, which is also a plus. I already have my May appointment set up. Im just glad to have finally found a great stylist who truly values her clients and her work.

    Shae has been slaying my hair for over 2 years now, and I couldn’t be more happy with the services I’ve received! A Heavenly Place in Hair is a laid back, yet professional environment. Tanisha is also amazing, I promise you won’t be dissatisfied with either stylist! When I arrive for my appointments (I go every 2 weeks), I know I’ll always enjoy great fellowship and leave happy with my hairstyle ❤️ Recently got my hair cut, and I absolutely love it!!

    This was my first visit and first time getting a silk press, and I can say Mrs. Shae did her thing. I really loved the outcome of my hair and she was very professional and knowledgeable about hair! You can tell she takes pride in her craft and it really shows through her work and expertise.     Mrs. Shae is my stylist and she styles. She is professional, the shop is very pretty, and you have a great experience when you get your services completed. The prices are great for the quality work, and you will leave happier than when you came. I got a silk press and it was well-washed, flat from the root to the ends, shiny, and she doesn’t burn you.     I have made Shae my stylist for this duration of our move. As a military vet, it is always hard to find a salon that does everything (shampoo, condition, etc) with the old beauty shop feeling. When you go to her salon, it feels like a family. Everyone is talking and getting pampered at the same time. I go every three weeks like clock work and I’m always satisfied.HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

    I love this place!! Not only is Shae a great stylist but the shop is nice and clean. I’ve been in the Fort Walton area since 2014 and looking for someone to take care of my hair. I ran across A Heavenly Place in Hair online a couple of months ago and decided to give it a try. Shae is amazing. She knows what she is doing and is very knowledgeable about natural hair. When I went in for my consultation she suggested the keratin treatment so I tried it and I love it. My hair is thickening up and growing within the few months I’ve been seeing her. I tell everyone I know about her because she’s the best that I believe I’ve ever been to. I definitely recommend her if your looking for a hands down good stylist!!

    A Heavenly Place in Hair is the place to be! The atmosphere is very warm, pleasant and inviting. The owner, Shae Thompson, who happens to be my hairdresser, is veryProfessional, thorough and knowledgeable. I felt that there was little hope for my hair. I suffer from alopecia. For months, I wasnt sure what to do with my hair. I am so glad that I was able to find A Heavenly Place in Hair. After my consultation with Shae, she assured me that there was hope and that she would be able to work with the condition of my hair. She is very gentle with my hair. I have received my 1st and 2nd Healthy Hair Journey treatments. The results are amazing! My hair feels and looks so much healthier. I can only imagine what the future holds for my hair as I continue to see Shae on a regular basis.     I was pleased with being able to get in same day I booked the appointment. I love the online booking feature and the amazing communication from my stylist. She texted me relatively quickly to ensure she could help me and understand what I wanted. my stylist was super awesome and we were talking about all kinds of things. She did highlights on my hair, lifting the color without bleach, and it looks amazing on my hair. One of my favorite parts was that she was very prompt when I walked in. (Ive had a previous bad experience at a salon where even though I had an appointment, they had me waiting hours to get in as they didnt communicate to tell me the lady wasnt coming.) The atmosphere also felt very calm and to me, important for my peace of mind. I enjoyed my time and the results and will definitely be coming back!

    The Heavenly Place in Hair was my families salon of choice for 20 plus years with hair stylist Shae Thompson, the owner. No regrets, as the experience was beyond great. The salon is like no other, the place is inviting, my family felt comfortable and welcomed. She greeted my wife, daughters, and mother in-law with a smile, a hello, met us at the door, and provided one on one time with each ready to provide exceptional service. The quality, prices, time was exactly what was expected and beyond. Her communication with each of them about their hair and her suggestions to a long life of healthy hair made them feel comfortable and at ease. She gave my mother in-law the cut needed, color and style she desired. My daughters wanted to cut the dead ends from previous uncared for hair being overseas, plus gave them a great moisture treatment we knew was much needed, and flat ironed their long hair keeping it age appropriate. She provided bottled water, canned soft drinks,TV, for my daughters, music for the adults, laughter, and great conversation, my wife was well pleased. My family knew and felt this was the professional personable environment they were looking for that made us all happy to be returning clients. It’s the place to go for truth, healthy, education and more, that has years of experience and not an amateur. Thank you a heavenly place in hair!

    Jessica is the best!! My daughter has naturally blonde hair and has died it for over a year this deep red. I had another hair stylist about 6months ago try to correct it by adding brown. But said this was going to take several sessions. Another stylist told me the same thing. A few months later we soaked her hair in vinegar and tried dying brown again. Still a lot of red. I contacted this salon this last week and was told to contact Jessica, as she is the color expert. And she said she could do and even came in on Mothers Day to do it. It turned out so beautiful!!!! In the light you can see a hint of red but you have to be looking for it. I would highly recommend her!!

    I’ve been coming to Shae for 4 years and can not say enough great things about her and her business. Over the years Shae has become more than just my hair stylist. She is a confident, an advisor, and friend.From the time I walk through the doors to the time I walk out, I feel welcomed and at home.I never really know what I want done with my hair but Mrs. Shae is always patient and knows exactly what to suggest. I have never been disappointed with the final product, and I have referred plenty of friends to her throughout the years.Shae is more than a hair stylist, she is a stylist for all things concerning beauty and style (makeup, nails, fashion). I need more people like her in my life to help me and my lack of fashion sense!! Lol. Thank you Shae for always being uplifting and positive.

    When I adopted my little girl, I had created a mental bucket list of milestones Id love to see her reach... she has autism and is completely nonverbal... so new things arent always easy for her. But today, SHE WENT TO A SALON AND GOT HER HAIR DONE! Were there hard moments? Yes of course! She needed breaks, she needed snacks, we walked around the salon... But she did it! And let me tell you, Shae Thompson, owner of A Heavenly Place in Hair is amazing! She worked on Ava time, we had the whole salon to ourselves! She created an atmosphere where Ava felt safe, secure and free... I will forever take Ava to her! Best experience EVER!

    I first contacted Mrs Shae after taking my two strand twists down I had installed months prior. I found that a lot of my hair had dreaded unintentionally and was extremely damaged. I left A Heavenly Place In Hair feeling beautiful and like I truly had a fresh start with my hair. She is not only gifted with her hands but very knowledgeable about maintaining healthy hair. My daughter and I will both be returning to her regularly for our hair care needs.

    My first time visiting the salon and I am very pleased with my hair. Ms.Shae informs you how to maintain your hair and SHOWS you the products she uses. Also, the products can be purchased from the salon. My hair is easy to maintain with only 2 products instead of 5 or more. My natural curls are more defined and softer. I’ve had so many compliments about my hair and I tell them where I went! Ms.Shae and Ms. Tanisha are very nice and respectful to everyone. See ya soon and thank you!

Ms. Shea was not only very professional but she wen above and beyond to make my daughter’s day very special!     I have been seeing Shae the past 7 months and she has turned my hair from brittle, dry and lackluster to bouncy, shiny and HEALTHY. She is the only stylist that I’ve found that actually knows what she’s talking about to grow healthy hair but most importantly she teaches you what YOU need to do to maintain it at home.     I have been going to Shae for well over 4 years now. I have been natural since 2007. My curls are still healthy. I get twist outs which are always way better than I could do. When I opt for a straight look Shae brings all the professional services to task from the trimming of dead ends to professional grade products and recommendations. My hair shines and look like as if I have relaxer or Kera treatment. I don’t have eight. In fact I don’t have to re-curl or flat iron my hair. I have no heat damage when wearing my natural curls. My hair from the roots to then ends are thicker, healthier, softer, luxurious, manageable. My scalp is a lot better as I have had some serious dandruff. What I love about Shae is married to my hair being healthy. Always professional. Courteous in on time.

    Ms. T was wonderful! I had a very early Saturday appointment and she was waiting and ready for me when i arrived at the shop. She relaxed and styled my hair in an hour and 45min without making me feel like she was rushing. The end product was excellent! My husband said it looked as good as the weave I put in for our 1st wedding anniversary (husband speak for he liked it ;-))

    My go to salon for many years and Tee nor Shae never disappoints!! She takes care of all my natural hair needs from deep condition which is included with every shampoo, cut, color, highlights, up do, flat twist, twist out, spiral rod set, crochets, silk press, etc. She is not only a great stylist but friend who became family.

    Very satisfied with the service. I came in to get my hair dyed and styled on multiple occasions. Got the look wanted every single time. My go to stylist is Mrs. Tee. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk explaining your needs. Only person I’m letting touch my head besides my barber.

    I was told FWB had no natural hair care specialists…only braiders. Not so! Shae is one of those rare healthy hair advocates that will deny your $$ if what you want isn’t healthy for you. The shop is also nice and she is such a professional. So glad I found her!!

    I was so pleased with the outcome of my daughters hair which is natural. Her hair is very thick and coily and Tee was able to blow it out, trim and style it without hurting her. Very impressed.
