    First and foremost, the service here is amazing. I didn’t have an appointment and I needed to do a few different things But I was accommodated with no issues. The whole experience was just so heartwarming The environment itself just makes you feel calm, good energy The music is nice. They take care of you and make sure that you’re happy. And I must say that I’m impressed with the fact that the service is so phenomenal and the pricing is so reasonable!! I’m from Canada, but I definitely found my new Hair Salon in Florida for when I go on my vacation thank you Ana and her daughter for the beautiful service and a huge thank you to Susy for accommodating me and giving me exactly what I wanted !!     I am grateful to have found the Famous Dominican International Hair Salon. I feel well taken care of when visiting.In particular, I love when my hair is done by Connie.She is an expert in so many hair styles, and can accommodate to many different hair types.She takes the time to listen and truly cares not just about the look of the hair (and it always looks amazing) but also its health as well. Her kindness makes every appointment a pleasure.I would 100% recommend this salon to anyone looking for excellent care and a top-tier experience.

The salon is beautifully decorated and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Josie (hair stylist) is a true artist! She listened attentively to what I wanted and offered expert advice to achieve the perfect look. Her attention to detail and precision are unmatched.     Amazing team and service. Thanks to Ana and her team, my hair looks and feels amazing. I went for the first time to do the Keratin treatment and the results were incredible. My hair looks very healthy, strong and shiny. Ana is very knowledgeable and she explained all the different products that they offer and the benefits that they can provide. She listen to all on my concerns and we decided together the best one for me. Her team was also amazing, always checking on me to make sure that I was ok and comfortable.     I had a good experience and a very nice and very on point haircut with Susy!!! She help me and suggested with her experience the styles that suit me better with base of the hair cuts that I show her that I want it and help me to choose the best style for me base in my face shape and explain me why. They have a lot of good hair products for sale and the prices are very reasonable and accessible.

    Right from the start of walking in to book my appointment I got the pleasure of meeting Anna and her daughter, and they were extremely welcoming and helped me to decide what services that I would need. For my appointment day upon arrival I was immediately sat down offered coffee, and Ans got to work it right away. Ana is extremely sweet and pays a lot of attention to detail. I highly recommend coming to the salon. The experience is great. The quality is amazing and the energy inside the salon is contagious. I left the salon feeling so beautiful and loving my hair. 10/10 recommend!

My daughter and I walked in without an appointment, and despite the salon being full, Irka welcomed us warmly and assured us they could fit us in if we were willing to wait. The wait wasn’t long at all, and the entire team was amazing.The stylists were patient, kind, and attentive—especially with my daughter, which I truly appreciated. They made us feel comfortable the whole time, and the results were stunning! We were both out in two hours with gorgeous hairstyles.If you’re looking for a professional and friendly salon that delivers fantastic results, this is the place. We will definitely be back!

    Friendly service & great results. It was my first time here and I will be coming back. I never tried color on my natural hair because I use a relaxer. They were able to give me some color without damaging my hair. I’m going for blonde but this is how light we could go in one day. I will be back to finish my highlights and for other services.

She took the time to listen to my hair concerns and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process.The keratin treatment left my hair feeling smooth and looking so much healthier. Susie did a fantastic job with the trim, too, keeping the length I wanted while giving my hair a fresh, clean look.     LONG REVIEW- If you’re scared/nervous about trying this salon please read.Since moving to south fl I’ve had the hardest time finding a dominican salon that feels like home, im from NYC so you girlies know the struggle!!!!! Let me tell you I love this place, as someone with incredibly curly hair who LOVES their curly hair and wants to take care of it this salon has been a LIFESAVER. I came here after a stupid decision to at home bleach my hair(long story) and they saved my hair.The owner Ana is actually the first girl who took care of me here, her and her daughter are literally the SWEETEST. They always have an amazing price, are upfront about everything no scary random totals at the end & they actually care about my hair health. Not just trying to shove keratin at me or burn my hair.I’m obsessed with their hair masks. I’ve also even done hair botox here with has made my curly hair SO healthy and long. They also do amazing color, I took my little sister here to do her hair & she was obsessed with it. Shout out to Giraldo, he’s done my hair & did my sisters color. Love him.

    One day I was looking for a Dominican Hair Salon to get a treatment. After calling two salons, the professionalism by phone alone is what led me to try them. Same day service, no wait, they were very welcoming and professional through the entire service.     I am so glad I decided to give Famous Dominican Hair Salon a try. They did not disappoint! From the wash, to the haircut to my blowout! What a great experience it was. They are very attentive and show so much passion in their work. I would like to point out my stylist, Sonya. She is talented and truly knows how to give a great wash, cut and blowout.     Love this salon, the staff is amazing and so caring. I came in for partial highlights and after discussing what I wanted with Ana she suggested what she thought would look best and fit within my budget. It had been over a year since I’d truly had my entire highlights redone. Ana and her team were very patient and truly took their time with my hair.     This love this hair salon. I have naturally curly hair and I got a hair straightening treatment by Ana three weeks ago. My experience was amazing from beginning to end. At first Ana took a look at my hair and asked me about my hair goals, then she explained to me different straightening treatments she offers and gave me her recommendation on which one she thought was best suited for me. She was very sweet and welcoming throughout the whole appointment which I also loved. After the treatment my hair has been so shiny, straight and healthy. I have not had to put any heat on my hair for the last three weeks and it air dries or rough dries perfectly. Not to mention she gave me an amazing haircut and really took her time making sure my layers were perfectly even (my hair has grown so much in the last three weeks so she definitely has a good hand for cutting hair). I have been getting so many compliments on my hair since I got it done by Ana. I look forward to coming back to this salon. Also, I purchased a shampoo, conditioner, hair mask and hair oil from the salons line called Famous by Ilka and I absolutely love all the products, I will be going back for more once I run out.

    This was my first time coming to this salon and let me tell you I was not disappointed! I wanted to tame my big curly hair and inquired about keratin. Suzy was my stylist and she picked the best keratin treatment for my hair she understood I just wanted to control my curls not fully get rid of them and she did exactly that! My hair came out so beautiful and most importantly it’s healthily not damaged at all! I will continue to come here for all my hair services. Everyone in the salon was nice and helpful.

    Suzy is an absolute lifesaver! I’ve been to over 5 salons in town to fix my extensions and keratin treatment and no one has done it as good as Suzy. Suzy knows how to work with all types of curly hair. She also took out all my extensions and spaced them out better on my head. Forget the other salons and town and go see Suzy if you have curly or frizzy hair. She’s really good at what she does.

    I came here for the first time so nervous because the place I went to before bleached and damaged my hair. The owner Ana to famous Dominican hair salon greeted me at the door we picked a color set on a price and they sat me in Marisol chair so she can do my hair at the end I did not like the color but only because it was sA light Gary due to the bleach. But Marisol was more then happy to fix and redo my hair she fixed the color straighten my hair she blow it out .I highly recommend Marisol she is patient and kind I had no extra charge for the fix they are the best of the best I already have an apt for my girls with Marisol amazing they had me in tears from how amazing my hair turned out thank youThe blonde is how I went to the salon and the other picture is how i left amazing work thank you

    The third time really was the charm! The owner is incredibly sweet and understanding. After giving this place a year-long break, I noticed a significant positive shift in the energy and atmosphere. They accommodated me right away, even on a Sunday, with two stylists working together.     I was in the area visiting family and was attending a family event on 08/17/24 I wanted to get my hair blowed out and I’m very picky, particular, and not trusting of everyone who touches my hair since I have very thick, curly & long hair.Also Since Im not familiar with places that I was staying at in Hallendale. I looked on google for salons and this salon popped up. I’m very familiarized with Dominican hair salons and their process so After reading the googles reviews I called to schedule an appointment and The lady who picked up was nice & friendly and I was shock to hear they had a next day availability since the google reviews were so good. The next day I came in and was welcomed right away! The environment was really welcoming and everyone was nice. I was serviced by Daniela she goes by Dani. One thing I get from every salon I go to how thick my hair is and how much hair I got lol. But DANI had patience and let me tell you! She did her thing with my blow out and she even styled my hair for my event & cleaned my brows! My hair was so soft 😊 She was so wonderful and truly was thankful for her because in the past I have had stylist give up with my hair. So DANI thank you so much for your service. My blowout lasted me two weeks! So for anyone looking for great service, good customer service & wants there hair to be healthy after a blowout, please visit this salon and see Dani! She is amazing!

    My daughters invited me to go to a shrek rave dressed as the fairy godmother. As somebody who that never wears their hair in an updo I knew that I needed help. I had been in touch with the salon before to make an appointment for hair coloring, and they always have been so wonderful. Well, last Friday had an appointment and the plan was to put my hair up for the party. I came in with my hair completely filthy. Because I figured we would wash it, blowdry it, and Connie was amazing. She was like, no, you have so much hair. Even though its filthy dirty, its going to hold the style so much better. She was so right. So she saved me quite a bit of money and time by not doing the whole wash and cut and blow dry, just to put it up and have to wash it the next day. I really so appreciate her. I got so many compliments at the rave, and I know it was because of my hair. My interactions with Ana Ilka, who is at the front desk and an absolute sweetheart, and Connie, have been amazing. I highly highly recommend this salon. I have been getting my hair colored for over thirty years. This is definitely my go to place for all things hair. See you ladies soon. 💋

    This place is amazing! Gerald has hands of gold. I had a blow out scalp massage and hair treatment, I ended buy the amazing products they used on my hair.     Suzy was amazing complete night and day change. They had me go dark at another salon that didn’t go well with my complexion although I kept on showing pictures of what I wanted and how the light colors sat better in me.     I am here on holidays since I came from Los Angeles, I was looking have a nice facial and I was looking at class pass. I found this place that I didn’t know they offer face treatments and i saw amazing reviews so I decided to give it a try. the barefaced Custom Facial. She did such a great job! Very professional and gentle. She even explained what she was applying to my face and I loved it! My skin looks glowing today and it feels great! Very pleased and I highly recommend her! A+

    I had the worst bleached hair ever!! My hair was depressing me so much! A close friend told me that this place works magic and can revive your hair to make it look super healthy. I love her for recommending this place to me. All the ladies were not only nice but super accommodating and heard me out. I got the discovery treatment and I’m so in love with my hair!     Ive been to this hair salon 3 times now and I can say these women are great with all types of hair. I appreciate the hospitality and the fact that the beauticians are willing to help most customers that walk through the door. This particular time, I got a bleach, dye and blowout. Initially I was nervous given the process but my hair came out absolutely fabulous! No keratin. My hair has been growing healthily so far, especially when I take a break from heat and get a protective style. I definitely recommend this spot!!

    Look no further, I came all the way from New Jersey to Famous Dominican Salon as I found the salon on Instagram. The salon staff is caring, friendly, extremely professional. Many services are offered, Marisol took her time and was able to transform my coarse hair to silky straight hair with keratin treatment. I found my new salon I will keep returning to! Thank you to Ilka, Ana and Marisol for welcoming me and taking great care of me during my service.

    DO NOT WALK RUN TO THIS SALON!!!! Omg let’s start with the atmosphere, as soon as you walk in there’s a cloud of smoke and if your one of the girlies who know knows that’s a good sign of a REAL Dominican salon. Both the staff AND THE OWNER that’s right the owner of the shop was there making sure everyone was well taken care of and kept the upbeat atmosphere going. Now let’s talk about the guy who blessed my rats nest. He took his time to explain everything to me so I knew I was making the right decision and I did not feel pressured at all AND THE END RESULTS FLAWLESS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I will be returning next week this is definitely my new spot.

    Lucero did an amazing job on my cut and conditioner treatment. My hair has never been so smooth and healthy. She took time for recommendations and did an amazing dry and finish to my hair! Alexis for the facial was amazing as well. The atmosphere is light and fun but they take their craft serious and did a fantastic job at reasonable prices.

I was searching for a Dominican salon in the area and found this place, I am so happy that I gave it a try, Marisol made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in and once I met Ana and her daughter I knew I was in the right place.     It was my first time going to Famous Dominican Hair Salon.I sent an inquiry and I was able to get an appointment immediately. The staff are so friendly and made sure you are satisfied with their service. The owner and her daughter Ilka was very nice, the hairdresser was extremely detail oriented.     I walked in for a last-minute appointment because my original stylist canceled on me at the last minute. I was immediately seen, had zero wait time, and was met with great customer service.     That was my first time there. I am from NJ, but I wasn’t expecting anything better I just wanted to wash my hair. They did a fantastic job with my hair. Anna is amazing.     I went in for a walk in with the most difficult to get out pink/orange (I’ve been red for a few years) and they hooked me up! Not only did they go above and beyond to make sure I looked good when I left but they took every possible measure to make sure my (slightly damaged and heavily dyed) hair wasn’t more damaged when I left them. They were so kind, professional and overall good company, I just moved to Hollywood area and will most definitely be coming here when I need my hair done. Very fairly priced as well, would easily recommend them to anyone I know.
