I was excited and nervous because this was our first meeting. He was very professional, personable, and listened to what I wanted. What a refreshing hair cutting experience! Paul not only accommodated my last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon, but he gave me the best haircut of my life. I sat in his chair declaring I wanted to chop all my hair off, but he called my hair beautiful and said he would coax life into it with layers. No one takes the time to blow dry my hair because it’s thick and unruly and frizzes easily but he took the time and even called me back inside for some more TLC after I was waiting outside. He LOVES curly and “big” hair, and is so skilled at “taking the mane.” His coloring skills are top-notch and make me feel like a movie star every time—but still look natural.In addition, Paul is just a fabulous human being who takes the time to figure out your needs. I went to Paul Miller for a bang trim but secretly wanted a haircut. Because I was a walk in and his next appointment was running late he said to me “your face is small for this amount of hair you would look so cute in a pixie and started pulling up photos on his phone…how did he know that’s what I was thinking all along? Also he cut it first and then sent me to get it washed and he styled it. So non-traditional but what a great experience with such a caring man! I left there with a lot less stress and I went in with.Don’t let the nondescript strip plaza fool you. He’s good!!!!

My first visit with Paul was not what I was expecting. With all the positive reviews I was thinking he was Paul Mitchell himself. the salon is dirty and run down. BUT its not his salon, he only rents a space. I come in and we talk and tells me Ill get the best cut Ive ever had. Hmmm. he is a bit on the arrogant side. So i get a full color on his advice, not a high/low light. i agree. ICK!! It had to be done twice! I still wasnt happy, but being the nice person i am I consented. Then comes the cut! I am s short haired person, so if your long haired, this isnt for you. he really took his time in the cutting. After all done, it was extreme for me. the color and cut. I hated it! After a few days of getting use to to it and styling it and many compliments from co workers, I really liked it. I do short hair very well. So fast forward 4 months, I let it grow out. i went back to him. i told him the cut lines are from you . Do the same thing as before. he did not. he did not cut as before, we had to teak the cutting . it was not good! Cut this and cut that. Thin this out and that.. Im not sure why he didnt do such a good job as before. Paul sits to cut hair, he has a spinal injury. perhaps, hes not going so good. Will I go back.... the jury is out on that.

Lovely service. I wanted a drastic changed and he did it, loving my new look. When I called I was told I was going to pay half of what I really paid, which was not a very nice surprise. However I was so happy about my look that I did not bother to complain. Luckily I had enough money in my pocket. So just confirm first if money is an issue but anyway you gotta love it.
