I just moved here from Ohio where I had been going to my stylist for 20 years. Marcus was referred and had great reviews. I have short hair but like to keep soft, feminine touches. Marcus had great customer rapport and was easy to talk to. I am so happy with the cut, service and price. He did absolutely amazing and I will definitely be going to him from now on!

Visiting KW, I had double bleached my short hair before coming. Jumped in the pool & my hair turned very light green! I tried ketchup, ACV, clarifying shampoo, nothing worked & I was crying! It was hideous to me. I called & messaged many local salons & most were closed on Mondays. I called BobbyShop & they were able to book me for an 11am with Amber right away. I was relieved! She was able to remove most of the stubborn green, then give me a more flattering color at my request. I felt so much better & was very pleased! I’m giving her 5 stars because she worked some magic on my hair! Very friendly & so helpful! The ease of making an appointment was great too! Oh my goodness I love my new home for hair! Liz was so friendly and kind, super helpful, professional and still super easy going and easy to communicate with about what I wanted. I explained how I style my shorter hair and she cut it perfectly so I could style it exactly how I wanted. I love the relaxed atmosphere of the shop and felt at ease and at home there. Traveling around the US means a new hair stylist every month. Mostly they’re average at best but sometimes you happen upon a technically skilled professional who surprises you with a high end precision cut and today that was Melissa at The Bobbyshop. After reading all the google reviews for hair salons in Key West, I was underwhelmed by the lack of choices and picked The Bobbyshop just cause owner Bobby has a unique backstory. It was a lucky call. Melissa gave me a short, modern feminine point cut, and if you have thick hair, you know what that means. Highly recommend Melissa for her skill and friendly personality!

Moved to Key West a couple of weeks ago, and my hair needed some major love. I asked around and everyone I talked to recommended anyone in this salon, but a co-worker swore by Liz and that’s who I made the appointment with. By far the most relaxed, easy going consultation ever because the woman knows what she is doing. She even dry-cut my hair from the beginning without me even having to ask. I have found my stylist on this island, and would bet any of the other employees of this establishment would be just as amazing. If you are looking for a salon in Key West with reasonable pricing, knowledgeable stylists and an awesome atmosphere, this is your place.

Every time I come down to Key West, I make a point to stop in at Bobbyshop to get my hair done. I love the atmosphere of the salon. All of the stylists are super friendly and it’s not unusual that other patrons join in our conversations. Liz is my personal favorite. She is the only person who always knows exactly how to tame my curly hair. If you’re like me, you like to have an awesome style for the least amount of at-home effort. You’re in luck- let Liz introduce you to the Cezanne treatment, which has changed my life forever. It’s nice to finally have a solution to the South Florida humidity!!!

We came for our little boys haircut. Cory was very welcoming and took excellent care of our 4.5 yo. He obviously knows his way with young kids and he gave our son a great haircut in less than 10, no fussing involved. And with no mesmerizing screen around, we actually got to watch our kid chat with the stylist all along!Thank you Cory for this very enjoyable experience.

My boyfriend did not have time for a haircut before we came to Key West so I googled barbershops and this one came up. He got his hair cut by (I wish I had gotten his name) the most awesome Irish guy with a blue beard. He said it was the best haircut he has ever had and I can agree because I watched how careful and thorough the guy was. He was a wonderful person we loved talking to him and hearing about his colorful life. I urge anyone to go here and ask for him!!

Liz is a miracle worker. She takes the time to listen & understand exactly what you want/need with your hair. The whole shop has a cool 50s look and just feels comfortable. I even recommended a friend from out of town who needed a color correction to Liz and WOW! Liz helped her go from orange to kick-butt platinum. Like I said.... miracles do happen at the BobbyShop and with Liz!
