Before I met Sara I would spend hours blowing my hair straight. She completely changed my relationship to my curls. I love my hair now. I wear my curls with pride.Sara is meticulous, patient and extremely talented with shaping curls.She maintain my long curls and gave me a perfect curly pixie cut. 10 out of 10 all around. I’ll be recommending Sara to all my curly family/friends. She’s super personable and very educated. You don’t go in just for a quick curly cut. She’s teaching you along the way with patience and answers to all your questions. My hair came out better than I envisioned it to be. Not to mention, it’s a Super cute, clean and cozy place. I’m so so happy that I gave her a chance. She’ll have me as a repeat customer for sure.

I’ve been going to Sara for a couple years. She’s the only one I trust to cut my curly hair. I’ve gone to other stylists but they leave my hair crunchy. Sara also goes above and beyond to teach you to care for your hair and recommend products. She’s always my first appt post-baby to help me feel good. I love that she cuts my hair while maintaining length. She’s also honest and explains the process on how to get to the hair you want to have. I highly recommend.

Sara is hands down the best hairstylist and there is no one else I trust with my curls. She has been cutting my hair for almost 10 years and always leaves me feeling brand new. She always makes sure to educate me on the products she’s using and the routine I can use at home to keep my curls healthy. She is now based in Orlando but always makes time for her clients and I would make the drive if need be because she is THAT good! 5 stars! 10/10!

I’ve been going to Sara for over 5 years at this point. She helped me start my curly hair journey and continues to be the only person I trust with my curly hair. Sara provides me with excellent service every single time and with her help my hair has come a long way! Sara listens to you and educates you!! She will do everything in her power to help you achieve your hair goals whether you’re sitting in her chair or need hair tips via email, and most of all she helps you learn to love your hair!

Truly an unforgettable experience each time. Sara is professional, clean and takes her time to get to know you and your hair goals. No appointment is rushed and she will never talk you out of what you want to do when it comes to a style or a cut. She gave me a thorough hair assessment at my first appointment and dominated my big chop at my second session. Sara is an artist! My first time getting a curly cut and the entire experience was top notch from start to finish. I always have some anxiety whenever I try a new stylist. Sara is really friendly, not intimidating at all and she knows her sh*t! I left the appointment feeling confident AND educated. I know now how to better manage my waves/curl pattern and I am able to wear my hair down more often without feeling like it’s an untamed mess. And the products she uses/recommended smell AMAZING and have done wonders for my hair. Highly recommended!

Sara is thorough when applying color and double checks all of her applications. She also is a perfectionist while creating the perfect shape. I highly recommend her! She took the time to talk and listen to what I wanted for my hair, she asked me what was my goal for my hair , and gave me great, honest advice on what I need to get to my goals. I’m so happy to have someone with curl experience work on my curls! Pricing is higher than I’m used to paying, but after being in her chair, I realized how much time it takes and it’s worth so much more. Give her a try! You won’t regret it!

My experience at Sombra Salon with Sara was so great I came back a few months later for highlights! My initial visit was a consultation, but we ended up just diving right into the curly cut. I love that she provides education while providing her service so that you are able to implement the regimen on your own. I usually would go to random and cheap places to get my hair done, but this time I wanted a real professional, and she literally brought my curls back to life. Will definitely becoming back AGAIN 😊💜

Before she grabs her shears she examines your hair as she speaking to you about what you expect from this session and your hair goals. Once that’s clear, she moves on to being your dry cut. Talk first, education second, cut and style is last! My hair has come such a long way from my natural hair journey. I highly recommend Sara for those wanting to embrace your natural hair. An appt with her is a college course in hair care!

Sara is THE BEST! After relocating to Orlando I wasn’t sure where to go for my hair but I’m SO glad I found Sara. I had messaged a couple stylists online understanding they’re busy and may not have time or interest to entertain my questions but Sara answered, gave me suggestions and recommendations of what she thought based on pictures I sent of inspo and of my hair. Her actual genuine care and answers just in the DM was enough to make me want to go to her. She didn’t sugarcoat anything and told me straight up what she thought would work/look right with my texture and my goals. She has never been scissor happy but is very open and honest about your goals vs where you’re at and how to get to where you want to be. She also recommend products and gives a whole educational experience on how to handle your hair no matter what stage you’re at with it. Definitely the best around and worth it!Also, great conversation as well which is important lol very fun and down to earth person. Love our talks about food, wellness, and just general girl talk :) and the salon is super cute and always clean, comfortable and organized!
