This is my second time visiting Ocoas Hair Salon and on both visitis I had an amazing experience. First time I went for a wash, hair cut and blow dry this second time I ask to get some color and it came out amazing 🤩 Im totally in love with my new look😍. Marylin and her team are the best. Marylin did my color, cut and style and she is amazing very attentive and dedicated. Another girl ( dont know her name) did my wash and my head feels so fresh😌. I have nothing to complain about and I will continue visiting Ocoas hair salon. If you visit them you wont regret it

Pros: Great salon, my hair always come out beautiful.Cons: they don’t take “appointments” so it’s like the old fashion NY Dominican salons where you need to get there early if you don’t want to wait.Other than the appt this is definitely a must go if you want a Dominican salon :)

This was my first time going to Mirna! I got referred by a friend of mine. I am very lucky when it comes to my head but Let me just tell you about Mirna! She is absolutely AMAZING at what she does. This was my third time getting a hair extension put on. The first couple of times I went to a different salon by my house and my experienced with them wasnt all that. Theyd burned my scalp and were so rough with my hair to the point that I wanted to cry. I am traumatized every time I would have to go get it move up with the first salon.Until Ive found Mirna, she was very gentle with my head, I didnt get burned if anything I fell asleep on her chair. LOLAll over I love her work and she made me feel very welcome to her chair without a doubt.I would recommend her to anyone who looking to get extensions done.

I grew up in nyc going to Dominican salons all my life, so i know what to except. Ocoa’s hair salon is one the best i have ever experienced. I was so particular and needed them to accommodate so many of my request and they did exactly that! My daughter and I got serviced by Mirma, she was incredible. So gentle and patient. She did my relaxer so well, no overlapping, no burning my scalp. My hair also wasnt flat it had so much bounce at the end . She really listened to all my request and concerns and went above and beyond to make me happy. My daughter has natural hair and by the end of her blowout her hair was silky and straight. It was the silkiest i had ever seen her hair. She was patient with my tender headed daughter. She didnt complain. We felt so valued because they really go out their way to provide excellent customer service. The owner mary Lynn is great and also their prices are so affordable and fair and everyone is so friendly. I highly recommend this place. For me its my go to salon from now on .

Amazing place, relaxing atmosphere, they received me with smile, service was amazing plus the blowdry was one of the best I ever had and without hair iron, for Hispanic women thats mean they really know how to do a good blowdry. The 45 minutes drive was worthy. Thanks!!

I don’t trust many hair salons with my hair type. Ocoa’s Dominican Hair salon is the ONLY salon that made me feel taken care of. They are the kindest hairdressers with such a warm welcoming Salon.
