    Iā€™ve been going to Angelica for over two years now, and I can honestly say my hair has never been healthier. From the very first cut and color, I knew I was in the best hands. Sheā€™s a total perfectionist, incredibly professional, and truly knows what sheā€™s doing. She understands my hair and exactly what I want every single time.Iā€™m super picky when it comes to my hair, but with Angelica, I just sit down, relax, and trust her completely. Sheā€™s hands down the best stylist who has ever touched my hairā€”even after living in four different states! If youā€™re looking for someone who truly knows color and style, I canā€™t recommend Angelica enough.

    I had such a wonderful experience here with Emma! From my consultation, to her executing exactly what I wanted. She delivered, she slayed it! I have thick curly hair and when I walked out of the salon I felt so beautiful and confident! She highlighted my hair to PERFECTION, itā€™s feels softer and it looks healthier! I am super grateful to have found her, 10 out of 10, I would recommend! The staff was also really accommodating and welcoming. Thank you so much, I love my new look!

    Angelica is my stylist!! She is amazing! Iā€™m 64 and have very difficult hair. She always asks how the hair cut was and if I had any issues with it since my last visit. I enjoy purple highlights and she knows just how to make them look completely natural! I wonā€™t let anyone else style my hair!!

    Iā€™ve had my hair done by Angelica several times at the salon. She is AMAZING! I absolutely loved the colors she picked for my hair. Sheā€™s truly an artist. It was so shiny and healthy. Loved the pink color pops she added as well. Sheā€™s very kind and patient and makes sure you are happy with the results. Will definitely be coming back to see her again in the future.

    I came to J Joseph salon with a very messed up (butchered honestly) hair cut from another salon I had gone to in the area. Courtney and a few others were able to save the day and give me the most amazing cut/fix without having to take anymore length off. They took their time and made sure every layer was fixed. If I could give them 10 stars I would! These photos are a before and after!

    Update: I couldnt leave a second review but look what this genius did to my hair!!! This is exactly what I wanted, I could not have dreamed it any better. Ive done a lot of colors in my hair from vivids to the copperish color I have now. I have attached more photos of the previous vivids I have had done too. Angelica at the Odessa Salon is absolutely wonderful and worth every second in the chair. I cant wait to see what we will do next!!Previous: Angelica is amazing!! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair. Im the worst at knowing hair processes, etc and she talked me through every detail to get me to what I wanted.     Ive been seeing Annalee for 2 plus years now. As a long hair girly I was nervous going to a new place, and had searched all my local FB pages to find someone who knew how to do blonde biolage. On my first appt i explained all my concerns, and wanting to make sure my hair wasnt cut too short either, as this has happened so many times in the past. I wanted to keep my length and work towards a bright blonde look. Annalee was so sweet & professional and heard me. My hair is still down to my waist, healthy, and bright blonde.     Iā€™ve gone to a few stylists here and theyā€™ve all been great. But I especially love going to Annalee for blonde maintenance and long hair cuts. She consistently does a phenomenal job. Typically I like more of a natural blonde tone with highlights and she nails it every time. Highly recommend!

    Angelica Semanchik has been my stylist for the past year. If I could leave her a 6 stars review I would. She always takes great care of me and my locks. Sheā€™s very professional, soft spoken and attentive and considerate which is important when you are handling someoneā€™s hair. The salon was also very clean but also very loud. Additionally it would be beneficial if the front desk personnel were more warn and inviting.If anyone is looking for a bomb colorist Angelica is your girl!

I found Emma / this salon through researching curly cut experts and she truly delivered.The ambience of J Joseph Salon in Odessa was clean, relaxing, and upbeat. The stylists were all so friendly and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. As I sat I saw many different services in process, so itā€™s fair to say they have someone who specializes in anything youā€™re looking for.Emma, specifically, was one of the best stylist Iā€™ve ever been to. She took the time to understand my hair, the texture, and what I was seeking- and I have A LOT of hair so this required patience and care.     Makayla Vervaecke did an amazing job fixing and then coloring my hair! I had had a horrible haircut the night before that had made me quite upset but I remembered what a wonderful job Makayla did last and reached out to see if she could fix it. Not only did she fix the cut, she also made it incredibly beautiful and colorful with shades of pink, purple and red!     I just have to say, Annalee was amazing. She is so wonderful to chat with and did wonders with my yucky yellow and transformed it into a full head of gorgeous icy blonde! i love it! I brought my 3 year old back a few weeks later to spoil her with a mommy day, and she cut and washed her hair too. It was my 3 y/os first haircut. Annalee made her feel so comfortable and special!     I have been coming here for a few years now to this location ever since it opened. Natalie has been doing my hair and she has been amazing every single time. No matter if I have an inspiration pic, or I tell her vaguely of what I want sheā€™s always able to take it and run with it and give me the perfect look. Warm atmosphere, very clean and inviting.     Courtney did a phenomenal job on my hair! I decided to give this salon a try after moving out to Odessa and reading the reviews. I came in for a consultation first and after talking with Courtney and explaining an idea of what I wanted, I felt like she had a good understanding and trusted her to do a good jobā€¦ however I was more than shocked and impressed with the overall results!     I have very thick, wavy/curly hair and also prefer to have my haircut on the masculine side. When I say Kayla is an absolute master of her craft, I mean it 100x over.     While Kayla gives a thorough consultation and good cut, it took more than a hour for my service, which started 10 minutes late. The ā€œassociateā€ (assistant) did my shampoo, and then she proceeded to talk through my haircut. Assistants used to be there to learn, not exercise their jaw muscles. Apparently that changed.The salon seems ridiculously overpriced considering the region and customer service provided by the front desk staff. Example: if you offer a client a complimentary beverage, you should get that beverage for the guest. Instead, I was asked if I would like a beverage, then the girl pointed at a Keurig machine and said I could help myself. Why offer if I have to do it myself?Also, if you have various prices for various stylists, that should be discussed during the consultation. What I experienced was a total shock. The website says haircuts start at $42. How much of a difference should a client expect? Well, $77 FOR A HAIRCUT is a little bit more than $42.Iā€™ll be going elsewhere next time. It just wasnā€™t worth it to me.

She recently talked me through a huge chop of the hair including bangs and she nailed the look and gave me a cut that has been so easy to manage! Canā€™t wait to see her again soon and highly recommend her.

    I brought my daughter, who has very thick curly hair, here for a good trim. Natalie was wonderful!! She asked my daughter what she wanted and took her time and it came out awesome. She styled my daughter hair exactly like she wanted. It was beautiful!! I canā€™t wait to get my hair cut/styled now!! So glad I found her! Natalie is very talented!

    Annalee is the best stylist I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable and took such good care of me and knew exactly what I was envisioning for my hair.     Mike Anthony was amazing! I had a terrible haircut at home and was desperately looking for a professional to fix it. Mike was very attentive and kind.     Emma did such a wonderful job fixing my hair color without causing any damage. I had seen 3 different hairstylists since I moved to Tampa. Each one messed up my hair color turning it from platinum highlighted to orange, pink and red :(I was so nervous to do anything with my hair because of my past experience but Emma took the time to understand what I want, did a test strand prior to the actual service and was so patient and skilled in explaining color pigments and what to expect! Iā€™ve been smiling every time I look at my hair in the mirror. Highly recommend especially for color correction and highlights/balayage services.

    Annalee has done the most incredible job with my highlights! She helped me achieve the lighter hair I am looking for despite my natural dark color without brassiness. Analee also gives me a great cut as well. She is pleasant and I enjoy our conversations. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else. I have never been so happy with my hair!

    After a couple of bad hair experiences in the past, I was searching to find someone that I could trust to do my hair. I happened to set up an appointment at J.Joseph Salon in Trinity 2 months ago and I was booked with Natalie for a haircut and a glaze. Natalie was very sweet, attentive, very knowlegable and professional. We talked about my past horrible hair experiences and the fact that I had a lot of anxiety when it came to getting my hair done. She really listened to me and asked me about my hair goals, which I absolutely loved and it helped calm my anxiety. After showing her different pictures of what I wanted she told me that what I was showing her was called balayage and that she was very confident she could fulfill my hair goals. Fast forward 2 months later and today Natalie definitely delivered. She took my black Latina hair and made it a warm caramel balayage. This girl has skills!!! Im so happy to have met Natalie and finally have someone that I can trust with my hair who knows how important communication with their client is and she talks you through the process.
