Heaven is by far the best stylist i have found in the St Johns area. Does a great job, has a wonderful personality and even got me to change my hair style (which i had for years) when i complained i was bored with my hair and everyone seems to like it her way better. My barber Jose is incredible. An artist. I love having conversations with him and he always has a great attitude. The atmosphere in the shop is fantastic too. Great music, video games and drinks. Everyone is super nice. Very inclusive place. I came for the atmosphere and stayed for Jose’s artistic work.

*** I am editing this because the manager absolutely made this right. I just talked to my sister and he was able to connect with her. Mike the owner was able to get this rectified and I very much appreciate the time he took to do so. He was incredibly helpful to her and able to get us a gift certificate for my brother in law in time for Christmas by personally dropping it off. Thank you Mike much appreciatedI can’t give an opinion on the actual services provided because unfortunately I wasn’t able to have anyone experience them… my sister went in today to try and get a gift card for my brother in law for me because I’m out of state, they just recently had a baby and I thought a nice shave and cut might be perfect for him as a Christmas gift… but no one knew how to process the sale of a gift card apparently. The woman trying to help her kept giving her other options such as driving to another location except THAT location is 45 min drive from where they are at! In addition another barber says “just have her go online” ok well I tried that initially… of course you know trying to avoid having my sister make unnecessary trips and guess what?! You CAN’T buy one online! It says it’s in-store purchases only. Sooo needless to say just really crappy, I get it 2 days before a Christmas probably don’t care much but that was really disappointing.

They have good music , great movies on the television and the whole place is super cool. We will never go back to another place other then this one, thats for sure.

Great experience at Diesel Barbershop, I hadnt been to a real barbershop since the start of 2020, and have gone to Diesel now 3 times in the last 3 months. Mario has been fast, courteous, with impeccable results. Amazing fade, styling, shampoo, hot towel, and can take care of your eyebrows as well. Glad I switched back, because the atmosphere and results are fantastic.

Took me as a walk-in last minute. Definitely a good barbershop experience. Are you surely enjoyed drinking a beer while I was getting my haircut and of course, a little bit of the straight razor on the back of the neck nothing really feels quite as good. You’re gonna drop between $45 and $50 for the whole experience, including the tip but when you’re looking for that kind of barbershop feel it’s a great place to go..

Her friendly, warm personality puts you right at ease. Great cut by an easy going guy(Mario). One of the better medium skin fades I’ve had in Jax area. Diesel barbershop easily the best spot for a fade in Silverleaf area. Nothing against supercuts, hair cutlery or V’s, but in Silverleaf this is the best spot over the rest hands down.

After being turned away and told from a lot of different shops that they don’t do women’s hair…even though I have a masculine cut…I’d almost given up. After reading reviews and seeing pics of Diesel, I thought I’d give it a try. Booking an appointment was extremely easy and they stayed on point with the timing. I had Pedro do my cut today and I immediately felt comfortable. He asked twice what I wanted just to make sure, proceeded to do the cut and it’s fantastic! Not once was I made to feel uncomfortable because I was a woman in the chair. I highly recommend this shop and I’ll definitely be back!

I love getting my haircut here. I have been doing my hair pretty much the same way for 20 years but somehow Hannah cuts it better than any ever has. With the basic haircut you get a hot towel, hair wash and the back massage. It is all great. You will not be disappointed that you chose to get your hair done here.

First time in today. Ms.Donna was fantastic and a great first impression to represent Diesel. She really took her time and made sure I had a nice hair cut. Yes, I’ve always thought the prices were a little much but your paying for quality. Cool way to start Friday they have beer while your waiting or other beverages. I’ve been to many other barbers around this community and the quality and service is not there. I don’t mind paying the prices for someone who knows how to properly cut hair. Overall cool vibe everyone was friendly.

I was a first-time customer of the shop, and Donna was the stylist. Very nice concept with multiple add-ons to choose from in addition to the cut.Donna put me at ease after we discussed the style that I was looking for and used her experience to decide what works best for me and how it would flow. Very impressed with her attention to detail and her scissors skills. I will be back in two weeks for another cut with Donna. In town visiting dad over labor day weekend but I didnt have time to get cleaned up before coming down, so I made an appointment a day before coming. To my surprise, I was able to get an appointment last minute for a 1:30 slot on a Saturday (hallelujah). Ive never been to this shop before so I rolled the dice and selected first available for my services and I was not prepared for what was to come. Mario really took the time on my tricky beard and his close attention to detail paired with a steady hand got me looking and feeling better than I have in a while! Also enjoyed a bit of a floor show with the other barbers chatting together... super cool environment and I cant wait to come back again every time Im in town. Would highly recommend this place. I bought a gift card for my brother in law for Christmas and he was able to get in right away and had a great experience! It was relaxing and fun and they did a great job with the shampoo shave massage. The whole experience was super enjoyable. There was an issue/confusion with the giftcard and the owner reached out right away and made it right! Very honest and trustworthy. Definitely come in if your looking for the ultimate barbershop experience!

I brought my nearly 2 year old son in for his first real haircut and couldn’t be happier with the results. He has longer curly hair & we wanted to keep his curls & some length. The stylist, Alyvia, was amazing! She was very patient with him, and her calm demeanor kept him pretty calm throughout the process (you can tell she loves kids)! She also knew exactly how to cut his hair to give the desired look. I see a lot of negative reviews on the pricing & lack of transparency. When I called to schedule the appointment they told me up front they don’t have special kids’ pricing & it would be $35. In the end, it was definitely worth the price! The barbershop has a cool vibe & everyone was super friendly! Highly recommend Alyvia for toddler boys’ cuts!

Pedro was incredible! He was patient and meticulous, didnt rush at anything. The hot towel treatment, scalp massage, shoulder massage, straight razor line up and shave, all reminded me of an old fashioned barbershop. And its the best beard trim Ive ever had. The whole experience was so much better than going to a quickie chop shop where they rush you in and out (and I always have to fix the stray hairs they missed after!).

Love the shop so much.... everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming, the literally have complementary refreshments and free arcade games for the kids. During the haircut you get a wash, scalp oil massage, shoulder and neck rub, a warm towel, and razor for yur neck! Ask for Pedro, I’ve been going to him for a long time, even before he joined this job and he is a great addition to their team. Honestly The only reason why I gave it 4star instead of 5 is because all of those treatments are great, but if I don’t have time for all that, they don’t give the option to just pay for the hair cut. Either you can accept the wonderful extra services or deny them but you are still paying that $35 base price! But that’s just me being cheap sometimes! Highly recommend Place to go!!!!

I came in at 10 til 5pm on a Sunday. We came in with the expectation we’d be turned away but we were in dire need. My sons hair was completely messed up from another shop. Kaylie was able to take my son in and stayed passed closing to comfort him and ultimately give him a rad haircut. A bit pricey for a preteen haircut but we won’t go anywhere else now based on our experience today!

I highly recommend this barbershop and especially Justin.
