    Cynthia is absolutely amazing! She cut my 2-year-oldā€™s hair today, and he has sensory issues, so haircuts can be a real challenge. She was incredibly patient, playful, and kind, making the experience as smooth as possible for him. Even though he struggled at times, she handled everything with such care and professionalism, and his haircut came out perfect! We truly appreciate her and will definitely be coming back to see her again. Highly recommend!

    Highly recommend! Ms. Cynthia did a phenomenal job with my autistic 5 year old son, not only did my son do the best heā€™s EVER done with a haircut, it also was the best hair cut heā€™s ever received!! I was literally in shock and still am! Her patience is truly unmatched and she is a gem! We will never visit another salon after today!

    Cynthia is the best one!!! First time cutting my sonā€™s hair and first time doing good. She really knows what she is doing and I havenā€™t found anyone like her in the area.We are definitely coming back for his haircut and highly recommend her.

    I cant say enough good things about Ms Cynthia. She is an angel! My toddler hates haircuts. He has a full blown breakdown at other kids haircut locations and haircuts were a nightmare. Then someone recommended Ms Cynthia at Kidz Cuts. I booked an appointment for a little extra time to help my son prepare for the cut. Cynthia blew bubbles with him and gently prepared him for the haircut. My son didnt fuss ONCE! He sat like a champ for his haircut and Cynthia gave him a bubble break halfway in. I will recommended this place to everyone I see with a child. Truly a blessing.

    Cynthia was very good with my son! He doesnā€™t like getting his haircut and she made him feel so comfortable by blowing bubbles, playing with him, and letting me even hold him while she cuts his hair. His hair looks amazing too. She also took her time too

    Cynthia was amazing. So patient, did such a good job on my sonā€™s haircut. It is not easy cutting a toddlers hair, and she did so well with every client before us that we got to witness as well. They were able to fit my son in for a haircut the next day when I called, and the customer service in general was overall great. The only thing Iā€™d say would be helpful, is we had a little difficulty finding the place. More signs would be awesome. We will be back!

    Cynthia is the very best! Sheā€™s so kind and patient with my son. Weā€™ve been going to her since he was 3 when he was so squirmy and shy. He made her work for it! She knew how to distract him and get his hair cut quick without even breaking a sweat! After 2.5 yrs theyā€™re buddies and we look forward to seeing Ms. Cynthia. Sheā€™s kind, positive, encouraging and happily makes any adjustments if you want something touched up. We love her, her talent with hair and her big heart!

    AMAZING!!! My husband and I brought our 2 year old in for his first professional hair cut. We were hesitant because we were nervous about how he would react. We brought an iPad in preparation to hopefully distract him. We didnā€™t need it. Cynthia took care of it all. She knew exactly how to keep him entertained and was amazing. My sons hair looks incredible. No fighting. No crying. No strapping down. She was the sweetest and Iā€™m so blessed we found her !

    Mrs. Cynthia is the BEST in Jacksonville! You simply show her the picture of what you want and she does it JUST LIKE THAT! Even better, somehow she does it all in like 10 minutes! My boys love to go to her bc they get to play video games, I love it because shes a hair magician!

    First time bringing my daughter here and we are hooked! Jennifer and Lorraine are so friendly, great with kids and made us feel welcome right from the start. My daughter got her nails done, hair cut, braided and added glitter by Jennifer. Its such a fun experience for little girls! My youngest ended up seeing what her big sister was getting done and Lorraine was kind enough to do her nails as well! My daughters are now asking when they can go back again. Jennifer and Lorraine went above and beyond and are simply the best. Would highly recommend this salon for anyone with little kids!

    Amazing experience at the salon today. Cynthia was amazing! I was hesitant going in because my son is not very cooperative when getting his haircut. He was in the chair MAYBE 15 minutes and he was done. It was awesome! He didnt cry or fuss at all. We will definitely be coming back!

    We took our 1.5 yo boy for his first hair cut and it was perfect. He got to sit in a Lightening McQueen car which his favorite and his stylist Jen did a great job making him comfortable and keeping him entertained. I would definitely recommend.

    I am SO impressed with this hair salon. My child is three and I had never even attempted to cut her hair. It got to the point where it was ridiculously long and kept bothering her. I searched and searched and this place had the best reviews and was in line for what I was looking for. We got there and there were play areas to keep your littles entertained. We were welcomed by almost all of the staff and everyone was so nice. Each chair is unique - whether it be a train, pink car, or truck. Jennifer talked to me about what would be the best cut, mentioned why some areas she would need to cut more than others and really talked me through what would be best for my daughters hair. She was very patient and followed my daughters head while cutting as she turned from side to side. She went a step further and braided her hair.. even gave her glitter, which she absolutely loved. I felt like my daughters first cut was going to be a nightmare and it was totally stress free! The environment was perfect. They even offer free manicures, which is AMAZING.

    We took our son, Mark, to Kidz Cuts to see Ms. Cynthia for his first ever haircut. We were told she was the best and she certainly did not disappoint. Scheduling was quick and easy, and upon arrival we were blown away. Ms. Cynthias fun, loving, and lively personality put Mark at ease immediately. He had bubbles, tv, and many other creative ways to keep him from being afraid of the sound of the clippers. The appointment went so smoothly and went by so fast. We will definitely be going back.

    My toddler has always had complete meltdowns getting his haircut. We thought weā€™d tried every trick in the book but nothing worked. After some community recommendations we decided to give Miss Cynthia a try and SHE WAS AMAZING. There was not a single tear from my child. I was absolutely blown away. If you have an anxious child or if they just hate haircuts, Miss Cynthia is your girl! I canā€™t say enough good things about her!

    I came in today wanting to get a fix up for my 2 year old sons hair cut that another shop messed up and Cynthia was so amazing and patient with my son & did whatever needed to make him feel comfortable. I love the way his hair cut came out. Liz also cut my sons hair about 3 months ago and sheā€™s just as great! Definitely recommend!

    Weā€™re new to the area and Ms. Cynthia was highly recommended by pretty much every parent in our neighborhood. Needless to say, she was above and beyond our expectations. She cut my 17 month olds hair quickly and very well (best hair cut by far)! She was also so kind, took her time to get him comfortable and acclimated, and made him feel right at home! She has so many good tricks up her sleeves for littles- a true pro. We will be back!

    The only place i take my son to get his hair cut. mrs cynthia has always been very kind and patient with him. he is nonverbal and absolutely hates getting his hair cut so we only go every 4-6 months but sheā€™s always kind to him and i really really appreciate it.also learned she cuts my past preschool teachers kids hair as well so i thought that was neat!! the teacher had me as a student when i was 3 and also in high school when she transferred to the computer department and we still talk! such a small world now that mrs cynthia is cutting my 3 year olds hair as well šŸ«¶šŸ»

    Finding a good hairstylist for a child who gets nervous isnt easy, but Cynthia at Kidz Cuts is a godsend. My son is terrified of haircuts, and in the past, its been a nightmare of tears and tantrums. But not with Cynthia! he still cries but she works at his pace, takes breaks when he needs them, and always makes him feel comfortable.

    I was extremely impressed with Ms. Cynthia and the entire staff. They were very caring towards all the kids there and made me comfortable with my sons first hair cut. I had been putting it off because I loved his curls but they were getting out of control. Cynthia made him very calm and the cut was so quick I dont think he even knew it happened. They have tons of toys and methods to get the kids to stay still. I was recommended to them by a friend and I would do the same. Very good experience for the whole family.

    Have come here several times. Unfortunately I do not live in the neighborhood... But anytime I am in town, I always come in with my 2 year old for an AWESOME cut. Cynthia is awesome but if you want her, you should call ahead and schedule. I got lucky and got her my first time in. She did great with my sons first hair cut! 2 other times I came in another lady cut my sons hair. Each time i leave there I am super satisfied with the money spent and the job well done!

    Oh, how we love Ms. Cynthia! My son is nearly 3 and weā€™ve been seeing her since his first haircut in 04/2017.     We just had our first experience at Kidz Cuts and I am so impressed! We were a walk in and waited less than 5 minutes. Ms. Liz was so kind and patient with my 2 year old who is a wiggle worm. They had lots of fun distractions for him which really helped the process. We walked out with a great experience and hair cut! It looks so fresh and professional!     Highly recommend. I took my son for his first haircut, and they were great with him. They made sure he was comfortable with his surroundings and had toys to entertain him while he was in the chair. The car and train themed chairs were adorable. Our stylist cut a little at a time and kept checking with me so as not to cut shorter than I was comfortable with. They saved a bit of hair for me and had a first haircut certificate. Very happy with them.

    My son is autistic and non verbal so itā€™s been really difficult to find a barber to cut his hair. Jen was amazing with my son and extremely patient. He had a great time sitting in the lighting McQueen race car watching movies while Jen tended to his hair which came out great, will definitely be going back.

    Took my daughter for her first haircut. She is 5 years old. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. I didnt make a appointment so I thought we would be waiting a little bit but we didnt! I believe Pam was the stylist that we had. She was very friendly with my daughter and made her feel comfortable. The environment was inviting, kids playing, laughing and just happy. After her cut she got her nails painted. This was a free service with a haircut. (bonus what little girl does not want her nails painted!!)     They truly are wonderful with kids. They have a lot of patience and plenty of things that kids can fiddle with to make their experience a pleasant one. They are very quick on the cut and the cuts look great and at the end they have a small pop that my son looks forward to.It is not a very large place and actually very easy to miss the turn to get into their parking lot, they separate all the sections when waiting and make sure children donā€™t cross over as an additional safeguard during these times so be prepared for that if your little one likes to explore.

    WOW! A mom group I belong to raved about Kidz Cuts and they werenā€™t kiddingā€¦ This place is the real deal! They cut my sonā€™s hair PERFECTLY in about 10 min. For perspective, our son is wild and hates haircuts. On one occasion, before we found Kidz Cuts, a haircut took us three days and three separate attempts. You read that right.At Kidz Cuts, our little man didnā€™t even fuss until the last few minutes or soā€¦ the hairdressers there are absolute toddler whisperers and so professional! They pull out all the stops and know all the tricks. I was amazed. His haircut was $19, but Iā€™d happily pay $25 or even $30 for their great work! He looks adorable!!

    I cannot say enough about this salon! They have been cutting my kids hair for three years and we have always been impressed by their warmth and professionalism. After reopening under Covid-19, they have been 100% dedicated to sanitizing, masks and distancing. I feel safer here than in the salons for adults. Owner is a retired nurse and she is running a tight ship! They are also amazing with small children and will pull out all their tricks to get the job done without (or despite) tears. Magicians! Rates are reasonable considering what great work they do.

    Wow! What a wonderful experience this was. My 2 year old usually cries but the staff made him feel very comfortable. They even made sure he was at ease while we were waiting.     Weā€™ve been taking our son to Kidz Cuts for about 2.5 years now and we love it! Ms. Lorraine always warmly welcomes her patrons and has lots of tricks to help soothe otherwise unsettled little ones. Our sonā€™s had his hair cut by all the ladies thereā€”though Ms. Liz has helped us these last few timesā€” and itā€™s always somehow turns out great despite him throwing some Oscar-winning fits. All the staff are so kind and patient with him and, from a parentā€™s perspective, it makes what would be an otherwise stressful situation bearable. I canā€™t emphasize enough how much we appreciate these amazing ladies and the wonderful work they do!

    I canā€™t recommend this place enough!! We just had my 19 month old sons first haircut there and Miss Cynthia and the entire staff were absolutely amazing. They were patient, kind, and knew every trick to get my sons curly hair cut tear free. We even got an adorable ā€œFirst haircutā€ certificate with a lock of his hair. The only time he cried was when we had to leave lol.

    Great place for kids haircut. Everyone is super nice. My son got bad haircut from a different salon. I called kids cuts and they were able to see him the same day to fix his hair. Cynthia cut my sons hair and she was great. She fixed his bad haircut which I was very grateful for. My son just sat there and played in the car.     My two-year-old certainly doesnt enjoy having strangers bring shears or electric trimmers near his head. However, Ms. Cynthia does SUCH an excellent job with him! She is patient and friendly, and I am always amazed by how well his hair turns out when shes having to cut it in small sections as he bats her hands away. We drive 45 minutes from home just to have Ms. Cynthia cut his hair!

    This was the first place I took my son for a haircut, on the recommendation of another parent. Overall, it was an excellent first hair cut. They were very patient with my son and helped him feel at ease. The whole shop is tailored towards young kids so thereā€™s a lot to distract them. They also put a movie on for him. My only gripe is the ability to get an appointment in a timely fashion. Itā€™s usually a 10 day wait if you want a specific person. Forget walking in. But if you live close and can plan your haircuts in advance, this place is great.

    We were referred to Kidz Cuts from a friend and it went better than we could have imagined! It was our sons first haircut at 18 months (he has lots of big curls) and Cynthia did an absolutely amazing job.     This place was awesome! The kids had so much fun they couldnt wait to get in the mini Cooper car to get their hair cut. Ms. Wendy was amazing with both my 1yr old son for his 1st haircut and my 4 year old daughter who got a princess braid with glitter after the haircut. Ms. Lorraine gave the place a grandma feel as each kid was her own grandchild. Cant wait to go back!

    My daughter adores this salon. They have kids cars for styling chairs (though my kiddo wont be able to fit in one much longer, she still loves them). They also have videos playing. The salon is immaculate and they work very hard to keep it clean, even before COVID.For girls they include painting their nails, which my girl also loves. The stylist also will do a little braid and will put glitter in their hair.I also love the way the whole staff is welcoming and helpful. When a child starts fussing, even with a parent there, someone will rush over with a toy to try and distract the child so they can finish he haircut.

    Our little guy is a tough cut. They made the experience wonderful for everyone - the car salon chairs, bubbles, cartoons, lollipops and the understanding & skilled staff.     We went to Kidz Cuts for our son Ryans first haircut today. I called to see if there was a waitAndre at that time was not so she made me an appointment for 15 mins later. Upon arrival Ms. Kim was waiting on us. She was extremely professional and fun! Our sons first haircut here was a wonderful experience. He had a great time in the Audi car dancing to the music. We lived the certificate and lock of hair we received after. We will definitely be back for his future haircuts.

    This is the best group of professionals for your little one. Every stylist is skilled in cutting a moving and swerving head and making each child feel comfortable with the experience. Kids Cuts caters to kids and I make it a point to go there for my sonā€™s cuts, even after they moved an extra 25 minutes away- itā€™s with the drive.

Between the movie that is playing, bubbles and Ms. Cynthias sweet and warm personality, my daughter does awesome while getting her hair cut. Everyone is really nice and Ive never had a bad experience. P.s. she also knows how to cut hair!!! Very important.

    They always do the best job when I bring my son here. They have tons of toys for him to play with before they get started and they have these little handheld massagers that they will give to the children when they come in because it helps them acclimate to the Clippers that theyre eventually going to use. I didnt understand this initially but after they started using the Clippers I realize that the buzzing noise is about the same. Its very smart. They do a great job of cleaning up after each haircut and the staff is very efficient. They definitely care when you come in here. Thank you so much for doing a great job every time we come over. We will be back.

    They have a new location on 13 that is much roomier than the 210 location. The staff is great and welcoming. My daughter loves coming here they treat her like a princess doing her nails braiding her hair. The owner Mrs Lorraine is the sweetest!!

    Haircuts have always been a traumatic experience for my 2.5 year old son. Found this place on the way to a birthday party and they did amazing! He didnā€™t even cry. He was so distracted by all the stuff they had. And the entire staff was so friendly and nice! I highly recommend them!

    We have been going to Ms. Cynthia for 2 years now. She was the first person that my 6 year old son would let cut his hair with the clippers and she is fantastic! She pampers my daughter and has something for every age child that walks into the salon. I would highly recommend taking your children to Kidz Cutz!!
