My husband and I just moved our family to the Fruit Cove area. I decided to find a new salon closer to our new home. The wonderful moms on my Jax Mom Blog recommended Southern Roots. I brought my daughter to have her hair colored for her bday. Amanda went above and beyond to get my daughter’s hair the exact way that she wanted it. She even took extra time out of her day and her efforts did not go unnoticed. My daughter is feeling beautiful and confident now.

Dana is amazing, she always listened and understood what outcome I am looking for and nails it perfectly everytime. I pull red tones, and she does really knows how to keep it from showing up. I love how simple it is to reach her and fast response. I wish I could give her a 10 star 🌟.

I have been going to Southern Roots on San Jose Blvd for over a year. Dana is an exceptional stylist. She has always ask what I want to accomplish with a haircut, highlight! She has never failed to to deliver on my expectations!! If you are looking forA true professional hair stylist, someone who has the knowledge, experience and loves what she does, Dana will not disappoint!!!!! 5 star

I have been coming here for years. I love Amanda and she always does an excellent job on my hair. I have never been disappointed with her work. She is professional, friendly and extremely talented.

I had scheduled Dana for a partial highlight, haircut, shampoo, and blow dry. She was available before my scheduled appointment and gave me a courtesy call so I can show up earlier. I was happy to receive the call.I showed her a photo of the color highlight I wanted for my jet black hair. She skillfully bleach my strains of hair. Then shampoo and applied toner for a crispy caramel shine.I had my hair layered and thinned out. The length was exactly as requested and my head is so much lighter.Dana did a wonderful job and I would recommend her for anyone who wants a highlights or just a haircut.Hope this review was helpful.

I go to see Dana and she gives the best haircuts and she’s super friendly and nice. The place is very nice and has a southern aesthetic feel to it. I haven’t interacted with any of the other hairdressers but I reckon they are just as good. :)

Classy and clean facility. Mrs hofkin was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable. Used amazing products and completely transformed my hair which was destroyed from a different salon. I get compliments all the time and I feel great! Her prices are very reasonable and I will go to her for all my hair needs!

Ive seen both Erin and Dana for hair services now and both ladies are fantastic at what they do. I have never left the salon feeling unsatisfied. Great place and great people. Would definitely recommend!!
