    I just moved to town and LUCKILY decided to stop by after dropping off a shipment at ups next door and Erida was absolutely amazing at cutting my long feathery layers. I even booked with my mom who has TWICE as much thick hair as me for the same layers and aunt for a trim whom BOTH were absolutely amazed by her talent!! She was super detailed and very quick! All at once. So glad to have found myself a hair dresser that truly takes their time and understands the anatomy of THICK HAIR (mom & mine) & thin Curly (aunts). 100000/10

    Went in this salon for the first time after reading reviews and looking through their instagram. I am absolutely blown away by the results and by the service they provide. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile and asked if you want anything to drink. Erida did a balayage on my hair and the way it came out was better than I would have imagined. She takes her time and is so sweet. Both Erida and Besmira are super kind, professional, and know exactly what they are doing. I definitely will be returning!

    Took my daughter for her first Brazilian blowout.She has very unruly frizzy curly hair and I cant even describe how beautiful it looks. We did follow all the rules and waited to wash for 4 days and just washed and dried and it is more beautiful now! So happy with splendid salon and Erida. She is so sweet and very skilled. I made an appointment for myself!

    Besmira has done my hair for years so I trust her with my hair!! I’m so obsessed with the way my hair turns out everytime, my hair always comes out perfect and I get the most compliments.     I have been coming here over 2 years, and I’ll tell you from my experience with Dede and rest of the staff that they are amazing. My family and I always go here for our go-to hair salon. The employees here always give you the best experience with fun conversations and the best results that you expect.     I am SO pleased with the balayage Besmira did for me! The blonde came out beautifully and there’s just enough of my natural color to really make the contrast pop. She is clearly VERY skilled at coloring! She also gave me a nice cut. I loved the atmosphere of the salon and the other ladies there were great! And, it’s been a few weeks since I had my hair done and it is still beautiful and healthy looking. Highly recommend!!!!

    Im not from around here and I was in town visiting family so I called the afternoon before to make an appointment for the following morning and they scheduled me with no problem. After reading some reviews I was confident I was going to he in good hands and when I came in the staff surpassed my expectations! Besi tended to my hair and listened to my requests carefully working with me to understand what I wanted. I had a previous haircut that was not well shaped and Besi worked her magic to make me feel more confident in my hair. She was so sweet and I had a wonderful experience at Splendid hair salon. I will definitely be back for all my hair needs!

    I can highly recommend Didi. He is an extremely skilled hairdresser. He cut my daughter’s and sister’s hair, and he did highlights on mine. We were all very pleased.     I normally meet with Besmira, who is fantastic, but was booked today with Dede. He is AMAZING and I couldnt be happier with the results. He worked his magic and transformed my hair which had awful, orange looking highlights to looking incredibly natural and beautiful.     Just amazing, turned my hair around, was neglected having moved, scared of new place, Besi, such amazing talent on the blonde! I am a difficult color recipe and she couldnt have done more perfectly! So many compliments without knowledge of my hair history, she just knew!     I searched for a top-rated salon near me, and I found it! I needed a haircut cleanup from a previous stylist (NOT at Splendid), booked a same day appointment online, and scheduled with Besmira. She cleaned up my cut beautifully, yesterday, 4/17/23, and have already had 2 compliments on the cut at work through the night last night. So, so happy with the way my hair looks, and what a nice person to talk to as well. Have never been in the salon or met Besmira before yesterday, but think I have found my permanent salon and stylist. Thank you so much Besmira! Go see them!! 😊😊

    This was my first time returning to a salon since the start of Covid and I was so glad I went to Splendid! The salon is clean. The staff is so friendly & kind. The massage chair & scalp massage while getting shampooed was so relaxing!Joe was attentive and did a phenomenal job! I walked out feeling like I just stepped off a hair commercial set. Joe was so nice! He recommended product that will help with volume & my curly locks. Will definitely return for a cut & color next time. Was able to schedule a day ahead and they take walk-ins.     Yesterday was my second visit to this lovely salon. I was new to the area and mistakenly had a bad cut and color @ a local chain salon. What was I thinking, I know better! Anyway, I was fortunate to find this little gem of a salon. Erida did a fabulous repair cut and color/highlights. Yesterday she perfected the cut and did a root touch up, eyebrow tint and cleanup.I love that Erida schedules time enough for each client to ensure we dont feel rushed. My pixie cut looks awesome with a beautiful color. She is sweet, highly experienced and Im grateful I found her.The wash, scalp massage and chair massage made me want to stay for the day! Highly recommend Splendid Hair!

    Walked in last minute because of the reviews. I did not expect to get in right away! The staff is SO incredibly kind and they were able to fit me in. We all know that good hair care can be costly. But here, the value FAR exceeded the cost. Dede (forgive if I spell your name wrong, Sir) made me feel absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be back.     This salon is awesome! I went in with my hair grown out from a previous bad haircut and Besi worked a miracle. I wasnt even totally sure as to how to describe what I was wanting but she was able to give me exactly what I was hoping for. Cut and color are perfect. Erida threaded my eyebrows too and what a fantastic job she did! Both these ladies are amazing and talented artists but they are also kind and welcoming. The salon is absolutely beautiful too!!!!! I already made another appointment for a special occasion up-do and I have no doubt Im going to love it!!!

    I can not even begin to tell you how happy I am with the results of my hair today. This is the second time I came to Splendid Hair and had Erita color my hair. I came in with a soft brown hair color with highlights that she did a few months ago, and love it, then wanted a full blonde color. It is absolutely beautiful! The soft, warm color is exactly how I wanted it! Erita was spot on and her attention to detail is obvious. Thank you, thank you! Thanks to Julia as well, assisting her and was so nice!     Erida is amazing! Walked in and the salon is gorgeous! I had an amazing stylist who moved away ...Erida was able to pick up where my former hair stylist left off.     This salon was recommended by my friend. The master Fransisco is a magician. He listened to my concerns, looked at the pictures and applied his magic! My haircut looks amazing. If you have curly hair, this is a place to go, if you have long and straight hair, this is the place to go as the woman who was leaving bis chair looked fabulous! The salon is very clean, the wash and shampooing is very pleasant as they do massage your head and you feel relaxed and rested. I went to different masters here in Jacksonville and the salon met and exceeded all my expectations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

    Called and got in same day. Unheard of for this area. Very clean salon. Great customer service. Had 8-10” chopped off and my stylist did an amazing job! So happy with the result. Awesome massage chairs while you get your hair washed, great products, and again, the staff is very welcoming. Great pricing too! I will be back!!

    I came in to splendid with a horrible at-home dye job that I thought was unfixable. But Besmira proved me wrong, and I am absolutely in love with my hair! She is truly an artist, I have never loved my hair more than after going to Splendid. The color and cut are absolutely amazing, the salon is gorgeous and comfortable, and Besmira is so kind. She is an amazingly talented stylist and colorist, and I could not thank her enough. I 100% recommend going to Splendid!

    I came across this amazing salon upon realizing that my barber (right next door) had a themepark-sized line of patrons waiting for their back-to-school haircuts. I walked in, Erida and Julia pleasantly greeted me and gave me the good news that they do cut men’s hair. While Erida was cutting my hair, Julia kindly brought me an expresso for me to enjoy while Erida was giving me a masterful “fade” cut. She was very precise and meticulous while cutting my hair. She was also very mindful by pausing and clarifying throughout the cut in order to confirm it was exactly what I wanted. The cut looks fantastic and I will always come back to Splendid for my fades. But wait…there’s more…I got up from the chair and Julia motioned me over to the shampooing station and I was stoked! I sat down in a massage chair and Julia shampooed and massaged my scalp while she talked to me in Albanian (upon my request). Overall, this was an unexpected and beautiful experience at this salon and I will recommend Splendid to everyone! What other salon can you get a fade, an expresso, a shampoo, a body and head massage and best of all, an Albanian linguistics lesson?!?! Thank you Erida and Julia for the spectacular salon experience! I will be back in a few weeks!

    I recently moved to the area and the other salon i tried (Brush) was closed. This salon was able to get me in for a haircut in 2 days, which was great for me. I wanted to get a lot of my hair cut off after my wedding. The staff were nice, the salon was super clean and pretty. Overall super happy with the experience and haircut.

    My hair is beautiful!I wear my hair short. This becomes a challenge to make look feminine for many stylists when they cut my hair. They either shy away from the short length, or cut it in a very masculine style, neither of which make me happy.The cut I got here, however, was the first hair cut Ive actually loved in a long time. They didnt shy away from my short style choices, and put the extra effort in, to frame my face and give it a more delicate feminine look that I was hoping for.My hair is stunning. I couldnt be happier.

    Erida is basically a miracle worker. I walked in with a damaged, brassy box color and requested an all over, lighter full coverage color and she made it happen. She offered several recommendations and worked with me on the process to achieve what I wanted without overpromising. She delivered above and beyond on both customer service and style!     I took my daughter to another location for a haircut…she had wanted “curtain bangs,” but ended up with too short, too blunt and too thick weird bangs. She was devastated. Out of desperation and proximity to where we live, I pulled into Splendid Salon, a sobbing, just-turned 13 year old in tow.It is difficult enough to be a teenager at ANY time, but in contemporary times, it feels even more difficult to navigate, as online tutorials and tiktok seem to have helped most teens circumvent those awkward years that I, personally, found unavoidable. My daughter’s hair was awkward. And that was an understatement. (I believe her name was) Besi took one sympathetic, compassionate glance and ushered her to a chair. She miraculously took those bangs from awkward to awesome, drying up my daughter’s tears and inciting a joyful hug. Then she shooed us out the door because she was “so happy she could help.” Nothing hurts worse than seeing your child hurting, even over something as 1st world problematic/shallow and superficial as hair. I am so very grateful, and eager to return for a service. Thank you, SO much, Splendid Hair Salon and Ms. Besi!!!

    I loved this salon and the employees so much. The salon was beautiful and the front desk woman was wonderful and welcoming. Dede did such an amazing job with a color correction, tone, and cut. Although the cut and tone could be seen as a bit pricy to some, I think it was worth the money because this salon uses all luxury products. The color correction itself was reasonably priced. Aside the price, I’ve been getting my hair done around St. John’s for 4 years with little luck and Dede’s the first to do exactly what I wanted.

    Excellent Barber Shop in St Johns, there is no wait, they serve quickly in English and Spanish and the prices are affordable
