My hair was covered in split ends, so I ended up going from hair down to my waist to above the shoulders for a complete refresh. Mrs. Maira was very precise to ensure my hair was perfectly cut, leaving me feeling comfortable with such a drastic change. Ive had several people since compliment my hair and ask where Ive gotten it done ^^Her studio was also nice and calming which was nice after a busy day at work, as opposed to the loudness salons are typically known for. I would definitely return!

Highly recommend! I should note that I am new to area, have very challenging hair ( super thick, coarse, highlighted) and blending to allow my grey to come in. About as complex a hair situation to present to a new stylist. Mairash spent hours meticulously going through my existing highlights. The results are the best color I have ever received. She continues to transform my hair color. The cut was also one of the best I have received. Comfortable environment and fairly priced! I am thrilled to have found this salon!!!!!

Very happy with the result of my time with these two ladies! I was quite nervous but excited to try going back to my root, natural color from the all over 4N (very dark brown) I had been dying it for years. I was shocked by how well they were able to match and blend it. My hair is very very thick and long, so it was a tall order to highlight! The curl she was able to manage at the end was an added bonus :)

She was recommended to me as a stylist capable of listening to her clients and also able to cut, color and style short, fine, thin hair! Since beginning to use her I’ve gone from 6-8 weeks color to all natural and I love my hair! Sadly, she gave my late husband his last haircut, just three days before he unexpectedly passed away three years ago. She has also become quite a good friend over the years.

My first experience with Maira and her salon was exceptional!I had inquired with many salons in the area regarding “tape in” extensions and each time I was told that “you can not put the extensions in short hair”. At the consultation, she explained the extension process and immediately I knew I was in great hands. After searching for recommendations and reading reviews, I called Kazashka. Maira was able to fit me in the same day for a pixie cut and peekaboo highlights. She asked me what I wanted and made recommendations when I asked her questions. She checked with me several times throughout the cut to make sure I was happy and liked the lengths. The atmosphere was so open and friendly. She introduced me to her other clients and they made me feel so very welcome. I could not be happier with my cut or the experience I had while I was there!Update: I have taken my daughters to her and they love her just as much! The haircuts are beautiful and they loved their highlights!

We are spending a few months in the Santa Rosa Beach area this summer and needed to have low-lights put in my hair along with a cut. Maira is a superb hairdresser and makeup artist. While I was living in Belgium, a Frenchman gave me the best haircut Id ever had. Not until I went to Maira had anyone cut my hair as good as he. She knows color very well.Ive lived in Beverly Hills, CA., and traveled the worldand shes very intelligent and very classy.She works fast and gets the results.Im 57, I have medium brown hair with some grey.She go the to white, shinny, butter soft hair.I also Listened to her. I did a thick conditioning cap the fist night,and put on scalp oil...didnt wash it for 4 days. And thats why Ihave No breakage! Im Amazed.You have to know what you want and communicate with any stylist.and never expect to comet looking like the phony movie stars.So, if you have a negative experience, dont write a bad review.Take some responsibility. Perfect, perfect, perfect! I am a full-time RVer staying in Topsail for the week. Weve been traveling for 2 1/2 years and I would be most happy if I could put Maira in my pocket! The auburn color she helped me select is perfect for my skin-tone and eye color. The cut she gave me was especially difficult given I am growing out a pixie. She made it look like I had decided to have this style rather than that I am enduring an ever so geeky grow-out. She texturized the scissor marks left in my straight hair by the previous stylist so that everything falls perfectly into place now. And to top it off she styled my hair in a cute and relevant way. Normally I have to go home and re-do my style. Im 59 and usually stylists make me look like Im much older. Seriously. If you want to look dynamite, go see Maira at Kazashka. You wont regret it.
