    I am visiting from out of town for a wedding. I called The Upper Room and got an appointment. The ladies were lovely. 2 women helped with my hair because I wanted a braid and everyone was kind and loving the entire time! It was so refreshing. I live in Northern Virginia and this is not typical service. The ladies work lovely together and I wish I was not a plan ride away. Keep up the beautiful work and words of inspiration.

    Weā€™ve been searching for a place that meets my sonā€™s high standards for his hair, and we finally found it at The Upper Room! We booked an appointment online with Nancy, who had availability that same day. When we arrived, Shanna greeted us warmlyā€”she was so friendly and made us feel right at home.     This was my first experience at The Upper Room hair salon. Iā€™m a snow bird so itā€™s so difficult to know where I can get services like haircuts or manicures and be confident that I can get great service at a reasonable price, I often rely on the customer reviews. I was so impressed with my visit. This is truly a Christian based business. I had the pleasure of having Nancy work on me. The girls are so friendly, welcoming, and try to make your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. I showed Nancy a picture of what I was hoping to achieve with my cut today and she nailed it perfectly. I will definitely be returning!

    My daughter recomended The Upper Room after her first experience there. Shes autistic and has had unpleasant experiences in the past. She absolutely loved her hairstyle and the atmosphere at The Upper Room. So did I! Nancy was awesome! She was kind and did a fabulous job straightening, thinning, and cutting my thick, curly hair. Ive often dreaded going to appointments at other salons because my hair has been difficult for many to manage.Nancy breezed through it beautifully! This salon is beautiful!     My hair was done this past Saturday by a Irina and while always fabulous, I just wanted to take the time to say how patient, detailed, and caring she was spending 5 1/2 hours creating a beautiful outcome and made me feel myself again. It had been 6 months since I got to have her do my hair and I can honestly say she is the most precious perfectionist person and my hair has never been better!The before and after is an obvious!

    A great fade cut and a prayer! What an amazing place to get a haircut .... I was a walk-in from out of town on vacation but I was taken immediately. Not only did I get a great cut but it ended with a great hot towel and a prayer. The prayer was timely as my mother passed away hours later and although expected, its never easy.     I didnā€™t have time to get a haircut before vacation so decided to see whatā€™s available around here. I was able to book online and get my haircut the same day which is unheard of where Iā€™m from! Shanna cut, washed, and styled my hair. Iā€™m my biggest critic and I still think it looks great! Also when she washed and blow dried my hair she almost put me to sleep, it was so relaxing! The price was good for same day cut, wash, and style on my super long hair! (under $100 w/tip and all). Lastly Shanna was so friendly and sweet. Great place and great service!

    Nancy cut my sons hair and he loved it! This is quite the feat for a picky teenager :) He brought in a picture and she replicated it well. I also loved the ambiance.     Love The Upper Room!!! I was vacationing close by and needed my short hair shorter and hadnt been able to have it done before we left on vacation. The ladies at The Upper Room couldnā€™t have returned my texts faster! And i was seeing nancy within the hour! I brought photos, but Nancy was a better help, taking time as she styled my hair. My new hair looks exactly as i was imaging! I am so pleased!This lovely salon has gently Christian music playing in the background. The peace of God is just full up in this place. These ladies finish your appointment by apply a warm, damp cloth to your neck and praying for you!!! What a blessing!I left refreshed and filled and so happy to have found The Upper Room. I was just googling ā€œhair salonsā€ and The Upper Room popped up. I only know of one other Upper Room, and had a feeling this salon was something special.     I was in need of a haircut super bad and fast. I saw that Nancy had availability right away. I had never actually been to this salon before but I had heard really great things about it but it was so much greater in person. Nancy was an absolute joy. It was definitely a divine appointment because she blessed me in so many ways. You could definitely feel The Lordā€™s presence all in that place. Not only did I leave there completely filled with joy but I left there with an amazing haircut and went back later to get highlights! Well worth the money and experience!!

    I walked in with 4 kids, mistakenly, 30 minutes late. 2 stylists consulted, cut, and washed each of my kids hair. I walked in very heavy hearted from something preceeding their haircuts and the environment was a place of peace and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Super friendly, loving, and caring of their clients. My son was prayed over at the end of his appointment for the upcoming school year. I cried happy tears.

    Irina is absolutely AMAZING!!! Iā€™ve struggled to find the right stylist in the area for years. Irina came highly recommendā€¦so I gave her a try and Iā€™m so grateful I did! Sheā€™s extremely knowledgeable, professional, honest, sweet, talented, takes her time, listens carefully to what youā€™re looking for and makes it happen! I really canā€™t say enough about how wonderful she is! Sheā€™s amazing at what she does and has a true gift! And as a bonusā€¦sheā€™s genuinely I kind hearted person! I feel so lucky to have found her. Especially after all the struggles Iā€™ve had finding the right person. I highly recommend her, send everyone I know to her, and havenā€™t heard of a single negative experience about her! She truly is amazing!

    I am so pleased with the personalized service that I received from Irina at this salon. Irina was delightful, incredibly attentive with impressive attention to deal, and very skilled at her craft! My hair was in dire need of a full foil, cut and style. I let Irina use her judgment in the color/shade for the foil, and cut...she did not disappoint! Iā€™m so happy the I put my trust in her, and have had several compliments already! I highly recommend her, and she is a magician with blondes! Her services were also very reasonably priced.The salon was easy to locate with ample parking, very cute, comfortable and clean. Im looking forward to my return for a partial foil in a few months!

    Great place to get a haircut. Shanna is professional and knows what sheā€™s doing. Shop is clean and managed well. Easy to find, just off Hwy 98 in Santa Rosa Beach. Itā€™s my go-to place for a haircut when Iā€™m visiting 30A beaches.

    The best haircut Iā€™ve ever had. I moved to Miramar Beach three years ago. I asked some people who I had met where to get a good haircut. They sent me to Shana. . Iā€™ve gone to her ever since and weā€™ll always have her cut my hair. Iā€™ve never just gone to one person before but she is different. The quality and experience I receive there is amazing. I have sent several people to her and everyone says the same things. My wife goes to her now and we both say that our haircuts last longer and people always comment how great our hair looks.. She opened up her own hair salon Upper Room Salon and itā€™s even better now having her own facility. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

    I got a great all over color from Irina! My Long Thick hair was yucky from being blonded and a long outgrowth of gray. I asked for all over dark red. Irina was Up for the challenge which took 3 Tubes of color. It turned out beautifully and my husband loved it šŸ˜€.highly recommend her! BONUS they were able to work me in for a pedicure while my color processed! Such a peaceful presence of God at this salon!

    I made a appointment for my wife to get her hair cut and shampooed and they made time for us and did a amazing job my wife was so happy with the result but thatā€™s not it Sarah who took care of my wife went above and beyond taking care of my beautiful wife Sarah and my wife prayed together during this process because she learned that my wife is in stage 4 liver failure they prayed and cried together in my book Sarah is a blessing from GOD and she deserves many blessings and when I tried to pay for the amazing service she absolutely refused to take the payment angels come in all shapes and sizes and all different places and Sarah and everyone that works there are those hidden angels thank all of you.
