    I went on a Friday morning. This was my first visit. I didn’t have an appointment. As soon as I arrived I was warmly greeted. I was able to get service immediately with Kwame. My preferred cut is fairly basic but Kwame’s process was anything but! He was thorough and meticulous. The hot towel wrap for my head was both surprising and decadent! The price was right too! I will be back! Thank you Kwame!

    Rick is Great! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, They all do fantastic jobs with haircuts and trims. Marcus is our guy! He is great with kids, He has been cutting my grandson hair since he was 2 years old. He had the patience to deal with a crying two year old, now he is 8, and Marcus is his best friend! So if u are looking for a barber you wont regret 813 CustomKutz, adults, and kids!

    Been going to CustomKutz since 2020, I have nothing but good things to say about every one who works there. Jess cuts amazing hair every single appointment, makes scheduling very accessible. All my friends tell me how good the line work on my hair looks. I would recommend her to anyone.

    Very awesome funny environment to be around. Not only did my son get an amazing hair cut, I got some good laughs. Theyre talented in what they all do. You can tell they all take pride in what they do there too. I will be coming back from now on for my sons cuts. And before school start back up too.     Been going to Custom Kutz for several years now and just want to say this barber shop is one of the best barber shops in town. Every barber is skilled and very professional. The owner Rick always goes above and beyond for his customers. The shop offers a diversity in its customers that you rarely see in barber shops or salons. Everyone is welcomed! Thanks for continuing to set the bar high. My family and I will be customers for years to come.

    I have been coming to 813 Custom Kutz for 3 1/2 years now. My youngest son got his first hair cut here and this has been the only barbershop hes been to since. The barbers are very professional and the shop is kid friendly. I definitely recommend this barbershop. 5 stars is very deserving!

    Been going here for about a year straight now. Hands down, BEST barbershop in the Tampa Bay area. All the barbers are great, cool atmosphere with the TV show and pool table, kid friendly (even my daughter loves coming and waiting for me while she enjoys her lollipop while I get my cut), its just the best. Trey is my barber and he ALWAYS hooks me up. But all barbers are on point. Thanks 813 Custom Kutz.

    We took our grandson their for his 1st haircut..and Custom Kutz will always have our business..Rick our barber is excellent at his craft hands down! That does not take away from the rest of the barbers who are at the top of their game as well.. the atmosphere was relaxed but professional.

    This was my first time in this barber shop. Theres the expected televisions with sports on and jokes being shared. Theres a pool table for those whod like to enjoy their time waiting being more active. However, this barber shop is exceptional when it comes to their professionalism, hospitality, and genuine care of their clients. I was greatly humbled by their actions, particularly Alans, when I began to feel ill during my cut. My well-being, and not the amount of time I was in the chair, was priority. Let me not forget to mention that Alans skills are equal to his professionalism. I highly recommend stopping in.

    I found this barber shop as I was driving. I needed a beard trim and thought Id sto. Im glad that I did. Very friendly staff. I ended up with the best beard trim Ive ever had. Marcus was my barber. He took his time and was very detailed in the trim.

    I had just gotten off work and I have mild autism and severe anxiety and didn’t make an appointment beforehand; so I was extremely nervous. Despite my anxiety making me feel unwanted and unable to explain to the barber exactly what I wanted (due to mild autism I am not the best at describing things nor am I usually able to handle haircuts. I am 19 but it was only my second time getting a haircut without a parent or sibling as usually I am unable to speak clearly enough to explain what I want plus I have extremely sensitive skin so haircuts are doubly hard for me) however the man who cut my hair (I can’t remember his name, started with a G I think) was really nice. Despite me not explaining very well he took his time and was super gentle without me even explaining my autism and sensitivity. I don’t think I ever had a haircut so smooth and without my horrible cowlicks appearing either. He also gave me advice for my beard as I am currently planning on growing it for about a year.

    Calvin is the new guy in the shop, but I must say he did an excellent job! Very attentive, pays attention to detail, and is not afraid to ask for advice when it comes to the finishing touches from his seasoned co-workers! Got a cut and a full shave, and I look amazing! So thanks Calv keep up the good work. Go see Calvin, and help him earn some new clients, you wont be dissappointed!

    I recently moved to Tampa from NYC and this will be my barbershop for my time here. Rick is an excellent owner/barber and has the best barbers around. He stands by his customers and treats them with respect. The haircuts are straight fiya!!!!

    My family has been going to Custom Kutz for years, the barbers are very good,they don’t rush, and make sure you get out the chair looking brand new, Rick(owner) is by far the best barber I’ve had. The shop also has great customer service I hate the thought of even going to another barbershop keep up the great work Custom Kutz!!

    Custom Cutz of Seffner is a well establish business open to all cultures and backgrounds. This is the one place sense moving from California to Florida two years ago. The owner Rick is excellent with kids and treats everyone with respect and positive energy. I would recommend this shop for any special event you have especially birthdays LOL.
