    I needed a last-minute haircut a couple of weeks ago, and as a walk-in, I got Melanie. I was in a hurry, so I got a dry cut. Melanie and one of her co-workers could tell I wasnt completely satisfied and they convinced me to stay long enough to try again with a wet-cut. So glad they did that! Once I explained better what I was looking for, Melanie gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had and its so easy for me to style. Would definitely go back.

    Every once in a while, I need an emergency hair cut and finding Ms. Gena at Cuts by Us, felt like a divine designed experience. Not only was Ms. Gena sweet and easy to talk to, but she really truly loves hair and it shows. Thanks for helping me look cute! ❤️

    I took my 91 year old mother to get her hair cut and was surprised at how easy it was. Mom was in a wheelchair, so the stylist offered to cut her hair in the chair. After the cutting was done, Mom looked like a new woman! Moms big grin showed that she sure liked it. I asked Mom if she was ready to go on the prowl for a new man, and she quickly responded Yep! The stylists here do a great job at a very reasonable price. Try it for your next cut. Youll be pleasantly pleased.

    Please take time to read my honest and unbiase review on my experience with Chris.On a whim, I popped into the shop (first time) to talk with someone about taking the leap to stop coloring my hair - which Id been doing for years. Approaching 75 yrs young, I figured it was probably time. Chris was super attentive and even did a test swatch to help calm my Level 9 fears. I loved the results and scheduled the appointment to go for it. My hair turned out beautifully, and Chris gave me a super new cut as well. Ill never go back to the old me. Ladies, if youre thinking about joining the silver sisterhood :) - or looking for just the BEST stylist ever, call Chris. I probably have more than my fair share of vanity & pickiness when it comes to this sort of thing - so for me to leave a rave review says a whole lot.Thank you Chris for your amazing talent, and for your caring heart also. Going silver was a scary step for me to take, and yet you turned it into one of the best Ive ever done.

    Chris colored my hair all blonde and she did an amazing job. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that! I had very dark roots but she made it happen and I am very happy with the results. She was very thorough and had an awesome personality. I will definitely be returning and requesting her whenever I need to get my roots touched up. I have also worked with Mary and Gina and they are also fantastic stylists to work with. This is an awesome location to go to to get amazing services done for a lower cost than other salons!

    The very best hair cut Ive ever had! Had about 6 cut off to shore up so many layers and splits, but wanted to keep it at shoulders so I could pull it back when I wanted to be lazy lol. I did not think she could blend it all in because my hair curls in some places and not others (weird hair), and no one ever gets the length right! A perfect haircut! Its blended perfectly and absolutely spot-on with the length! I left a better tip than normally would have.

    Good price and friendly service. Took my grandmother who is in a wheelchair. They offered to cut her hair while stayed in the wheelchair, which was fantastic! We were able to get her into a salon chair, but the fact that cutting her hair while in the chair was offered was amazing. We have been going to this salon for a long time now. Everything is wheelchair accessible and the staff is accommodating.

    My sister works here and she’s amazing at what she does! But everytime I go into the shop everyone is so nice and they all care about their clients it’s just a really nice environment and they do a great job!

    Gena s a jewel of a hairdresser. Today she performed the highlighting service & did a fantastic job. She made sure I was comfortable, listened to what I wanted done & recommended ways to improve the outcome. I highly recommend her for her professionalism & warm demeanor.

    My name is Michelle, Im the manager at the Cuts by Us in Southwood. I want to thank everyone for their good and bad reviews, this allows us as a team to address the areas we can do better. With that being said we all want a good experience in the salon, meaning the client and stylist. If u happened to have a bad experience, I hope that you will come back and see me as your stylist. After reading all the reviews I think its safe to say that some have said some cruel things by name calling. And also one said I can call the police whenever I want. I most certainly will call the police for protection for myself and other stylists and customers in the store. Being threatened is not to be taken lightly.     Came in from out of town and needed a haircut. I saw this place and took a chance on it...and Im glad I did. The owner (from NJ) was who cut my hair. I really liked her. She was very personable and I really like the way my cut ended up. She listened to my requests and made recommendations on how I should get it cut. Give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

    I had a friend bleach my hair from dark red to blonde and it left my hair orange with dark roots growing in. Came in to Cuts by Us and Adrienne fixed me right up. Im so happy with my hair and cant stop taking multiple selfies lol. Loved the result and the friendly environment.
