I was lucky enough to find McKenzie Trim several years ago and wouldn’t go anywhere else. McKenzie always listens to my concerns and gives honest feedback when it comes to my hair. I get compliments on my color all the time. My favorite part of getting my hair done is McKenzie is so easy going and makes my appointment feel more like I am hanging out with a friend. Definitely recommend giving her a call if you’re looking for someone new.

If youre debating going to see Kelsey, DO IT! She is sweet, knowledgeable, and cares so much about her clients. I went in for the first time recently for a low maintenance balayage and hair cut. While talking, I mentioned needing hair and makeup for my elopement reception and Kelsey managed to fit me in to her very busy schedule, helping me tremendously. The day of my reception I was a frazzled mess but when I arrived at High Key Studios, Kelsey curated the calming vibe I needed -- she even had a little bottle of prosecco and a charcuterie board waiting for me! Kelsey obviously cares so much about her craft and I am so glad to have gotten a chance to know her!

Was super nervous when booking because I dont normally trust barbers but I absolutely love high key studios. Kellsey did a incredibly amazing job and now I can say I wont be going to anywhere else will definitely be back for all my hair needs gpong forward! I absolutely love the haircut they gave me and its definitely worth the money if I could give a 10 star review Kellsey would definitely be my number one go to!

Kelsey did such a wonderful job! From the initial consultation to sitting in her chair, everything was perfect. She is very practical and professional. I can be very indecisive, but she spent so much time just helping me decide what worked best for me and going over options. She took the time to ask all of the things I wanted in my look, but also what I did NOT want to help me achieve the look I was striving for. I will definitely return to her for any hair services I need in the future. In short, I finally got the hair I wanted!

Kelsey is my miracle worker. I have never had healthier hair or been willing to try as many fun haircuts as I have with Kelsey. I trust that she will make me look GOOD. She listens to my requests and provides clear feedback about certain cutting techniques so that I get the look I want every time. Kelsey even taught me how to use texture spray properly. I could not recommend another stylist more than I recommend Kelsey.

I first started going to Kelsey in 2020. I asked her for a transformational cut from my long wedding hair to a short pixie. Ive never had luck going short before but Kelsey took in all of my concerns and turned my ragamuffin top into a perfect pixie. Ive been going back to her ever since on my regular pamper days because her shop is gorgeous, the atmosphere is so relaxing, and shes always listening to any concerns or changes I might want to make. Book her fast because shes worth it!

Kesey is great! She is very thorough, and takes time to really understand what you’re looking for in your cut/color/style vision. She is friendly, and you can really tell she enjoys what she does. The studio is beautiful and cozy and always fun to visit. You can always count on her for high quality am hair products, and yummy snacks for those long appointments! Always a treat getting my hair done.

Kelsey at High Key Studios is so professional and awesome! Ive seen her posts on Facebook and Instagram of her work she has done on other people and knew I had to have her do my hair. So glad I did, she is the first person to ever color my hair and she listened to what I wanted and I showed her pics for inspiration and she nailed it everytime. She also answered any of my questions and gave me good advice on hair care. I could not recommend Kelsey enough, she is very talented at what she does!

My hair journey has been more of a horror story than a joy ride. Long story short I was extremely hesitant to let anyone do my hair, and now have what I can only describe as PTSD with anything regarding my hair, lol.Kelsey to the rescue! She was PATIENT, like SAINT patient, she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, and she explained everything. She was also honest with me, and that in and of itself just increases a trusting relationship which is so important in this industry. Ive been seeing Kelsey now since August 2020. I came in with a drastic change in mind, going from my past the shoulders length hair to my first shaggy pixie cut. Kelsey came highly recommended by several of my friends so I was excited to see what she could do. She was all for the big snip and really listened to my concerns (going short is always a big step!) as well as my maintenance routines. That first cut was transformational -- literally and figuratively. I had never felt so feminine, not even with my wedding hairdo! Ive gone back every few months since to get the cut shaped up, playing with layers, chunkiness, and even now -- shorter AND sassier. She knows her stuff and is often booked out well in advance (totally worth it) so get on her books when you know you want your next cut. So glad to have a regular stylist to go to now!

I first met Kelsey when I desperately needed to correct a self-inflicted pandemic haircut. I looked like a pencil. It seemed impossible to fix without going even shorter. Kelsey not only found a flattering style, but she also made it look fantastic using the natural curly texture of my hair. For the first time in my life, I was happy with my natural hair! But that’s not all. She is also a fantastic colorist. When I walked out, I looked transformed—simply glamourous, and on top of it, not having to straighten my hair every day to look nice, yet if I wanted to, I could, and it still looked fabulous. I don’t have enough words of praise for Kelsey. Her ability to see the best possible version of a customer’s hair and translate her vision into reality, combined with her warm, honest, and professional personality is simply golden!

I have lived in the area for 4 years and have been struggling to find a hairstylist. After some bad experiences trying to find someone, I was wary to try a new person. I found Kelsey through instagram and I liked that set style seemed to match mine and she didnt seem to over edit her pictures so I could trust them. She also had a good bio on her site so I felt good about booking my trim with her. My hair had been all uneven and needed new shaping and she totally nailed it. My hair feels great and she didnt try to oversell me to buy products or extra services I didnt need. I love how my hair turned out and I know Ive found my new go to person. Im hoping to try coloring servicing in the future when I can make decision on what I want. Im thankful to have found her!
