    Thamar is highly professional, caring, and great at what she does! I came in for a sew in and never want anyone else to touch my hair again. She takes her time and truly cares about your experience. If you’re looking for a great hair professional, relaxing and soothing experience, with a cute atmosphere.. go see Thamar! 10/10.

    I do NOT have miracle hands like Thamar, and I needed something done with my natural hair. I am not a hair person, never been a hair person so imagine my surprise when I was referred to Phenomenal Tresses by a friend (who has gorgeous hair).For years, I put off having a hair stylist because I was comfortable putting my hair in a simple bin and calling it a day. But I figured, Im a little older now and I needed to do something different with my natural tresses, so why not at least go for a consultation?In a few words, the consultation was more than Id expected. Thamar really took her time with inspecting my hair and scalp and detailing a routine which could help with healthy hair growth. And her concern was more with healthy hair and longevity of my hair care routine rather than hair growth, which opened my eyes to how important it is to focus on the strands God gave me instead of zoning in on secondary goals.She also made me feel comfortable. Im sure the questions I asked her, she was asked a million times but I never got that vibe from her. It was like, we were having a casual conversation. This alone made me feel good about booking my first appointment with her.When the day came, I was so excited. And just as we discussed, she shampooed, deep conditioned, oiled me up, blew my hair out, silk pressed and curled me up. My curls were lengthy and light/bouncy! Even days after my appointment, I kept up with the daily scalp massages and oiling + weekly washes. Although its still a little early in my hair journey to really see a difference-difference, I can feel improvements throughout my scalp. Even something within me is satisfied that Im taking my self-care game up a notch. :)I do NOT see myself going back to the old bun-and-go after this experience. Thanks to Thamar, Ill be staying on track. As a matter of fact, Im seeing her again next week. 😁Im a huge advocate of experiencing things for yourself, not solely going off reviews. I encourage you to do the same. Check her out, yall!

    Thamar is an amazing stylist who did a beautiful sew in with minimal leave out. She was on time and highly professional. She was able to work beautifully with my natural hair and made the weave blend so good! Worth every penny and she is a sweetheart.

    I could not be happier with my hair, Thamar did such an amazing job. I had some pretty poorly installed extensions from a previous hair dresser and Thamar took great time and care to remove my poorly installed extensions, detangle all the matting they had caused (which was A LOT) then reinstalled my extensions with such care and expertise. I literally cannot recommend her enough! She was so kind, fun, and personable and truly left me feeling so happy and confident about my hair! Can’t wait to book again. 100/10

    The customer service here is phenomenal!!!! And the quality of hair is phenomenal as well. I had Thamar place a sew-in in my hair in 2017 for my college graduation. Then a year later I asked her to make the hair into a wig and color it. She did just that and it looked amazing. Till this day I still have the same wig. It’s doesn’t shed or tangle. The quality it perfect!!! And the price is very reasonable!

    Thamar was on time, professional, and polite which is very hard to find in a stylist now days. I got my hair washed and trimmed by her and she made sure to let me know everything that she was doing to my hair throughout the appointment. I had a great experience with Thamar and will be booking again with her soon!

    Phenomenal!Omgoodness! First time at Phenomenal Tresess and I was soooo amazed on the atmosphere, cleanliness, professionalism, everything. I moved here ntoday makes 3 months, and couldnt find a 5 star black owned salon. So, I went on go Google. And, the wordPhenomenal caught my eyes. Because, I am a Phenomenal woman that needs that phenomenal Tresess care. Thamar did my hair exactly how I wanted it. I showed her a pic and girlfriend went in from there. I would definitely recommend this Phenomenal Salon for whoever is looking to get theyre hair done by a Phenomenal woman. I am definitely going to keep her in my phone contacts. Thamar u rock.     I’m new to Tallahassee, and needed a new hair stylist. Definitely would recommend this place if you are here in tally. I love how she was very professional and on time. Not to mention the salon and music was good vibes all around. Can’t wait to come back in two weeks for my touch up. 🤗🤗🤗

    She has the best hair EVER!!! It does not shed at all, or tangle, even at the nape. I love her hair. Will always only use her hair. Its unfortunate she dont have hair in her shop, BUT it only takes about a week for it to arrive
