    This is the 3rd time Ive taken my 7 year old son there and he loves it. They have a little play area for the kids while there waiting and little screens for the kids to watch something fun while they get there haircut. We had Connie as a stylist and shes great,very sweet. I love how they give the children lollipops and balloons when they are done. All the staff is amazing and does a awesome job with the children.

    Amy was great! We came to this location because the one we normally go to shut down. We were nervous because we loved our previous stylist, but Amy made us feel comfortable, and really listened to what we wanted for our son. His hair turned out great, and we are excited to book with her in the future! The rest of the staff were also very nice!

    My son’s first haircut and Connie couldn’t have made it any easier. Definitely will be going here for my son every time. They have little toys for kids to play with / distract them during the cut or they can play their favorite show on the individual tvs. Connie was amazing.

    We have been to this location a few times. And every single time they have been absolutely wonderful!! They make children feel comfortable and make getting your hair cut a fun experience! My daughter who is now 3 1/2 got a hair cut and she wanted the fairy hair (tinsel put in) and they did such a great job! I have gotten the mommy cut twice now as well and they do a great job with adults as well. I would recommend this establishment over any other one in the area for kids!!! 10/10 definitely recommend.

    Absolutely amazing! I have a 6 year old nonverbal autistic son and haircuts have always been a battle. Brianna was so patient and kind! This was the first haircut ever that there were minimal tears! She explained everything before she did it to him and was just so calm. We will definitely be coming back!

    Thank you Mrs. Connie! We were so scared of taking our 2yr old for his first haircut but Cookie Cutters was amazing! Very clean, all staff was friendly and accommodating. Mrs. Connie is so skilled and was able to get an awesome cut on our very wiggly boy.     My daughter loves getting her haircut here! She always has a fun time sitting the hummer and watching her latest favorite show. Amy even did a braid and glitter...she loved it! We can’t wait to go backUpdate: we’ve been back many times! We now have a 10 month old boy with Down Syndrome and have been very happy with his 3 haircuts so far. The stylists really help to make it a fun experience 😊

    Great experience with my 4 year old and 1 year old. We usually take my 4 year old to the barber but never really like how his hair turns out. His haircut here turned out so good!!! For my 1 year old, this was his first hair cut. He was smiling and again his hair cut was so good. I wish I remembered the hair dressers name because she did phenomenal!

    I have an almost 3 year old son on the autism spectrum and hes got the most beautiful curly hair that made him look like a cherub 👼Buuuuuut it was getting to a point where you couldnt brush his hair without running into tangles from all the dead ends so we decided it was time to cut his hair. We were worried about him not holding still (hes not the greatest at that yet) and were filled from anxiety of what could go wrong with his first cut but my frustration with his dead ends exceeded my anxiety so I booked an appointment with Breezy because I liked her name. :) upon arrival I explained the situation and she asked me what we were doing with his hair and I just told her anything short would be good. She turned on his favorite show and got to work. Just as expected he started moving around and even throwing his hands in the way but Breezys cat like reflexes was able to somehow cut his hair and avoid cutting him every single time! (I was super impressed) I brought my massage gun as a last stitch effort to hold him still because he likes feeling the vibration and sure enough that calmed him down enough for Breezy to swoop in and finish the job. She made him look like a little 80s star and I absolutely love his hair! Thank you Breezy for being as skilled as you are and making his first haircut a great experience! And thank you to girl at the front for being very sweet with the biggest smile on her face. 🥰 we will definitely be back for more cuts!

    Our stylist was so lovely and patient with our daughter. Our child has autism, so when it comes to getting her head touch and brushed it can be a challenge. I recommend to any parent with a child who is special needs, please visit Cookie Cutters!

    Weve taken our 16-month-old there twice. The place is very fun with cute chairs and a play area. They also have balloons and lollipops. The very first time, he had Amy, who was sweet, and his haircut turned out great. The second time, we were running five minutes late and called ahead. The lady who answered was understanding but mentioned they might prioritize the next customer. I was 100% okay with that. When we arrived, we were seated 2 minutes after arrival. He had Brianna this time, who seemed frustrated, rushed, and not as gentle as I expect professionals to be with a toddler. Granted, we were a few minutes late, and my son wasnt very still, but we were okay with waiting. When my husband asked to get the front shortened, her facial expression wasnt friendly-looking. Despite that, his haircut turned out good, even though it was done in less than 10 minutes. We will be going back because we had a great experience the first time with Amy.

    This place is perfection. From the talented and incredibly accommodating stylists, to the variety of vehicle chairs and indoor play-set, it is obvious that Cookie Cutters paid special attention to each detail in making this the ultimate haircut experience for children. I would not bring my son anywhere else. Instead of becoming anxious on haircut day (because we all know it can be a somewhat traumatic event), we look forward to it.     My two girls, ages 6 & 10, loved their experience at Cookie Cutters. The braid, bow, and glitter spray sealed the deal for them. There was only one stylist working when we arrived, and she managed to get us out of there in just over 30 minutes. Youre definitely going to pay for the experience/extras, but Id say it was worth our time/money for sure! They could use help (literally, they were advertising that they were hiring) with additional stylists to cater to all the walk-ins...our schedule allowed us to come back in two hours, however they lost business that day to others. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will be back!

    My son is extremely tender headed and even hates having his hair combed. Our hairdresser was fantastic at talking him through what was happening, going slow with his hair, and making him feel better. My son also wanted a style with lightning bolts on the sides. Even though they were running late and it was closing time, our hairdresser was stilling willing to do it! Amazing place!

    I took my son to get his first hair cut, he is 3 years old so his hair was very long and so blonde. As I was very nervous to cut it Brianna was great. She spoke to my son so gentle and was calming knowing he isnt going to stay completly still. I showed her a video I had seen of something similiar and she did even better to his hair. I love it and was so happy with our experience for his first hair cut.

I was so worried about her freaking out, but she had so much fun playing on the playset and then picking out which car she wanted to sit in.     This is the closest kids hair salon to our home in Ailey, GA. We have been here on a few occasions (we try to wait as long as we can before the child needs a haircut since its about a three-hour drive) and we love it! We make a day out of the haircut, and will either go to Jacksonville or Amelia Island to have a short family trip! The staff is always friendly and Im amazed at how well they can cut the hair of a moving child.

Scheduling was easy and convenient, my son was entertained and calm, our stylist nimbly navigated around all of his wiggles and after, he got treats. The cut looks amazing!     I decided to go here for my son’s first haircut. He is 15 months old so I was not sure how he would do. We had a great experience! When we first walked in there was an indoor play area. This was perfect as I had my 2 year old daughter with me. She played while my son got his haircut. They had a great setup. We had a choice of fun chairs, we chose the airplane. The stylist turned on Baby Shark to entertain him. They had many other show choices too. She also gave my son a dinosaur to play with. He was so content he had no idea he was getting his hair cut.     This place is the best thing thats ever happened for kids getting hair cuts. We just had our 2 year old get his first cut and it was only 5 dollars more for a whole first cut package. Amazing deal and well worth it. They also did my 6 year old and 13 year old and both were awesome. Even my teenager loved his haircut and that boy can be very touchy about his hair lol. Ive even gotten my hair cut there in a pinch and they can do it all. Ill keep going back because they never fail to be the best experience around.

    We took our daughter (22 months) for her first haircut and the staff was great! They were patient, took lots of photos to try to get the “perfect” shot for her certificate, and did a great job! They have a small slide in there, too, which is great for exciting the kids to be there! Highly recommend if you need a place to get your child’s haircut (especially if it isn’t their favorite thing)!! We will be taking our daughter back for her next appointment and my son when he needs his first cut!Update: we returned about six months later for my daughter’s second cut and son’s first cut. They were great - especially with all the COVID stuff going on. We were the only ones in the salon and they were very thorough with cleaning and sanitizing. My daughter was so excited to get her hair cut and they were great with my son (14 months).

    Had a great experience here, my son got his first haircut with the help of Connie she was wonderful and patient she asked questions about what we wanted she was gentle with him and she did an absolutely wonderful job my son was smiling the whole time.     My son is autistic, and getting his hair cut is usually the hardest thing to do without everyone getting stressed. the lady helping us was amazing and made his hair cut experience, and mine the best ever. She assured us that she was comfortable working with him, and she worked fast and efficient. My son has the best hair cut hes ever gotten in the past six years. We live four hours away, and will be returning regularly for his hair cuts from now on.

    Took my 19 month old for his first professional haircut. Had trimmed his hair at home in the past but it was a nightmare of head movements. He got to choose from lots of different cars to sit in while he watched a cartoon. The lady who cut his hair was very professional and easy going.     We had a great experience. My daughter enjoyed being able to sit in a fun chair while getting her hair cut. The staff was very sweet and great with her. I also appreciated how they are keeping up with COVID-19 regulations...stylists wear masks, cleaning after each child, seats spaced, and waiting in our cars for our appointment.     I had a bad experience the first time I took my son there and the lady went too fast. However, this time we had the lady with the purple/blue hair and she was amazing! She took her time and really worked with us on finding a style to disguise the spot where my daughter cut her own hair. She was friendly and calm and it really reflected through my daughter bc I have never seen her so calm. It was a beautiful cut by a beautiful person and all around A+.

    We love Cookie Cutters! We have been several times- the first lady who cut my sons hair was amazing but had to move away. I was nervous to try a new hairdresser but after we met Amy and she cut my sons hair for the first time we knew we would be back to see her.     My son, 4, had a wonderful experience here with Amy. She was incredibly calm and patient with him, and it did not go unnoticed. He is a bit nervous when it comes to getting haircuts, and we did not know what to expect here, but we were very surprised at how great he did and I know it is because of the atmosphere. The fun chairs, the toys and all of the incredible and kind staff made this very easy on him.We are very appreciative of her and impressed by the entire experience.

    We took our 3yr old grandson for a haircut. He was horrible, screamed the whole time. My husband had to hold him down but Connie was AMAZING! She got it done! My grandson gave her a hug after it was over lol. I definitely recommend this place. They were all very nice and accommodating.

    Had my 1 year olds first haircut. They have an awesome package with a before and after picture on a cute little certificate with a lock of their hair. Such a great experience even with the expected tears. Our stylist worked with him and worked through it and did not seem to be bothered at all.     I have 3 boys 6, 3, and 1 and while the older two really enjoy getting their hair cut the baby isnt the biggest fan. They are so quick and efficient and nice at cookie cutters that they are finished with my babys haircut before he even gets too upset and starts crying. He also wiggles a lot but they just patiently and carefully continue his hair cut. I originally started going to get my youngest his very first hair cut and they do a cute certificate and everything, now I just always go there for all three boys.

    Amy is the absolute best. My daughter has sensory issues and because her head is so super sensitive, she doesn’t like to keep it brushed. She had a huge nest in the back that Amy very patiently worked out before she cut it.     We took our 1.5 yr old for his very first cut, my son doesnt like having his head touched esp anywhere near his ears( but it needed to be done it was too long for HIS comfort) so we were worried about the experience.     I took my son here for his first haircut the other day.they took him back right away it was a very clean and facility. The hairdresser Ashley was very sweet and accommodating with my two year old. My older children hung out and watched cartoons while my son got his haircut. I didn’t get her name because my son Titus has a short attention span/Austism. Also prior he had always given the ladies a hard time. Well with this lady her presence was very warm, soft and relaxing. She did amazing, I actually love the haircut. She listened to exactly what we wanted. Now halfway through ofcourse my son got antsy but she was so amazing and patient with him and us parents. I really wish I would’ve got her name. So cookie cutters if you see this she did Titus’s hair at 2 p.m Friday august 12th. She also was so sweet to me and made me feel good about myself as a parent. I really appreciate her for the haircut and experience. ThankyouPrior experience:Cookie cutters is the only place that I will take my youngest. He’s not the easiest when it comes to cutting hair. However they get the job done. Prior to Covid 19 the atmosphere was fun, and they have a mini play area for the kids which my son loves. One of my first times going they blew bubbles and put Mickey Mouse clubhouse on. Plus the chairs are not normal chairs, they have a cars and a airplane the kids can sit in while getting their hair cut. Also afterwards they give kids balloons 🎈.     What a FANTASTIC experience. I knew I could trim my daughters hair for the first time, but was too nervous. I was equally as nervous that she would freak out having a professional cut it.     Came here for the 1st time last night with my 2 year old son. He has had a bad haircut history...Never have we been able to get his haircut without an emmense struggle and rivers of tears flowing. Found this place on google for kid friendly shops and figured wed try it out. 1st off, booking was easy, and there was a groupon for an $11 cut. Score! Upon arrival, the actual shop is very clean and the associates greeted us right away. We had an evening appointment and there was no wait which was nice too. The atmosphere is specifically catered to kids, and my son couldnt wait to get inside. It was covered with colorful baloons, had a slide, tons of fun shaped chairs that resemble cars, airplanes, and other fun rides! My son picked a chair of his liking, and climbed right in, he got a bit hesitant when he heard the clippers, but I came prepared with a bag of candy and told him he could have some as long as he could sit still and let us play with his hair. (Ok so a bit of a bribe, but whatever works!) Anyway, they also had lolipops of their own had I not already brought candy. There were cartoons playing on individual TVs at each chair, so he was distracted plenty between the ride, his favorite shows, and candy. The stylist was super fast and cut his hair just how I asked. She was done in about 15 minutes and my son never even shed one tear! We will be returning for touchups bi-weekly. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for childrens hair care needs. Its specifically set up to accommodate young children, and Im so very thankful for this place and the amazing and friendly staff who work there. Life savers for this mama!

    The lady who did my 7 year old boy hair cut. Was amazing, she understood exactly what we wanted. Took time enough to make sure his hair was perfect... It is hard to find a good hair dresser. She is the best.

    Lindsey was extremely patient with my two year old son. The fun chairs, screens, bubbles, balloon, lollipops etc. make it such a fun experience for my little guy. Very sweet staff. We will be back for all future cuts.

    Breezy was sooo good with my autistic 4 year old. Very patient and gentle. The haircut came out perfect and she even braided my daughters hair afterwards. Definitely going back!

    They are always so personal and attentive to my kids. They give excellent kids cuts and did a great job correcting my daughters self cut. They are always quick and professional. We are so lucky to have this fabulous location close to home!

    Breezy is phenomenal. She had client after client and even though she didn’t get a break, and my kid was really wiggly, and the cut I asked for had a lot of scissor work involved, she once again cut my 3yr olds hair exactly like the picture I showed her. It was so adorable.

    Made my daughter feel so special . They are worth the experience. My daughter loves to get her hair cut their . The staff is so friendly and thoughtful . Very precise with the haircuts for a child as well .

    I was not expecting the reaction we got out of my son, but they handled it so well. He screamed the entire time but Connie quickly got it done and got us going. They tried everything it for some reason nothing calmed him. We will definitely be back, hopefully a little quieter next time

    Did a great job with a first haircut. Didnt exactly listen to the mothers style request, but our son was difficult. And hair grows back. Love the little playground inside, tvs and chairs.

    Amy did a wonderful job cutting my 6 year old grandsons hair and 5 year old nonverbal autistic grandsons hair! She is so patient and kind. The lady at the desk was also very kind and helpful.
