I was not happy with my previous hairdresser. She cut the top too short and left the sides too long. Mary trimmed it up and it’s a big improvement. She also colored my roots and used a different color on the rest which would gradually wash out. And I loved it. I’m concerned about the chemicals in the hair dyes and the ones she used aren’t as strong as most out there. My hair is wavy/curly and can be frizzy. She did a good job. I’ll be back.

Mary had the best personality and made me feel right at home, I had long curly hair that hadn’t been cut for a while. I took leap of faith and went with someone new. If you have curly hair you understand the struggle of trying to get it styled and cut right. Mary is the best. I was lucky enough to find Mary at a previous salon. I tried a couple of other stylists at that salon, but both just didn’t get my hair. In fact one gave me the worst cut I had had in years. Fortunately I found Mary again. After one visit, my coarse thick somewhat curly hair was back on track. Mary is special. Her experience and her skills are rare. I hope she can keep working her magic on my difficult hair for years!

Mary saved my hair! I went to Mary for a Consultation for a color correction. I have long hair and knew that I needed someone with the right experience, knowledge AND focus on minimizing further damage to my hair.During the Consultation, she listened and created a plan to remove the extensive red/orange that dominated my hair and to balance out the over processed really blond highlights to give me a natural look....light brown with highlights.I then made an appt and she performed, literally, her magic. She allocated 3 hours and we finished in 3 hours and 1 minute. I mention that as due to her extensive experience, she knew what needed to be done, she had a plan, and she nailed the color correction.She also gave me a great cut to get rid of the very dry and frazzled ends. Her pricing is absolutely fair and not overinflated.I suspect there isnt a hair challenge she couldnt conquer....all while minimizing any or any further damage to the hair.She is incredibly talented with so much experience and simply loves what she does...and is just a kind person.I am so glad I found Mary and highly recommend her.

Mary is an absolute treasure. I have stick straight hair that is very difficult to coax into a style. On my first visit, Mary listened carefully and gave thoughtful feedback on what would work best for me. Then she picked up scissors and magic happened. Mary consistently provides skillful, flattering cuts that just fall into place, grow out beautifully, and that I can easily maintain myself. She colors my hair so that it looks natural, shiny and healthy. The ultimate tribute is how many times Ive been asked who does my hair. Thats a credit to Mary and her magic scissors. I usually see Mary for a haircut and highlights, sometimes a glaze. Before Mary, I was not prioritizing my hair, and it showed. My hair had gone from bad to worse as I was getting quick, cheap cuts to save time and money. Anyway, Mary fixed it all. Mary immediately fixed all that was possible at my first visit, and had a longer-term plan for getting my hair back in shape. I have been seeing her every 6 weeks for a year and my hair looks like it did on my wedding day. She has a gift for natural-looking, timelessly beautiful hair.P.S. Mary is the best hair stylist I’ve used. She is talented and experienced, she is a great listener, and she remembers my requests. I especially love the amazing color she has created for me. When I first found her, I was desperate to find someone I trusted who could transform my look! I asked her to restore the color I had when I was younger. She did! She is also versatile and knowledgeable regarding trends. We have discussed my look for an upcoming wedding; we’ll be experimenting in advance. Mary has the unique ability to assess a clients features (facial shape, skin coloring, hair texture, etc.) to determine what hair style will be most flattering and work best for each individual. My first haircut after the pandemic lockdown found me so ready for a change but I had no idea what I wanted. I just told Mary to give me a new look. Without further ado she changed the color and gave me a super sassy, upbeat short cut that has completely changed my look....for the better! Honestly, I get compliments on my hair cut weekly, something that never happened before. Mary continues to keep my cut and color fresh at a more than reasonable price. She always accommodates my schedule for appointments and she is 100% reliable and professional. I have been a client of Marys for more than five years and would not consider trying any other stylist.

By far the most outstanding hair stylist in the area! I was referred to Mary by a friend and was in desperate need of some hair TLC. Mary exceeded any expectations I had. Not only did Mary style, color, and cut my hair, but she walked me through how to get my hair healthy again and how to care for it on my own at home!
