I stopped by to check out Vernons Martins Salon on night and walked up the stone steps into an eclectic, charming 1920s house turned hair salon. Was delightfully greeted by Bonnie and Vernon, who are charming and talented people. They knew what I was looking for when I asked them if they could layer my hair. Most hairstylists I find tell me they can, when they really dont. I was not disappointed! Bonnie layered, blended, and snipped away to achieve what I wanted, and I am very happy to have found someone who gets me!

Vernon does a great job on my hair it is very thin and Vernon cuts it just right giving it height. The salon is very clean and everyone is really nice and theres even a boutique to buy a quick last minute gift.

Wonderful place! So happy I found it. I met the owner Vernon and Marissa did my perm and cut. Both funny and down to earth. I felt like I was right at home. Marissa did an awesome job, I couldnt be happier.

Charlotte and Vernon paired up and gave me an amazing new look. I had really been struggling with my self-esteem. I just felt I looked really old and tired, but they were so wonderful and sweet I just cannot rave enough! Thank you guys! See you soon for a trim!

My hair is curly and alot of hairdressers make it too short because of how much my hair shrinks when its dry..Vernon did a great job. He enhanced my natural curls the way I like.Definitely recommend this salon. Thank you Vernon!

This was my first visit to Vernon Martin salon. Adriane is my stylist and I absolutely love the way she does my hair so I followed her to this beautiful new location. The salon is very nice and very well decorated. Adriane has is amazing. I’m so happy I found her. I’ll drive 45 minutes because it’s definitely worth it.

I loved my massage from Terri! She was able to help get the kinks out of my neck and back. So pleased that she made me feel good and not sore. She is extremely nice and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her for a massage!

My hair dresser, Cheryl, is talented and never disappoints. Vernon Martin Salon is quaint - still a work in progress, has a boutique, and fits right in with the antiques in Dunnellon. Ill return.

From the Tamara de Lempicka art work that greets you to the elegant gentleman owner, Vernon, this salon does not disappoint. My master stylist (Artist supreme) Adriane, gave me the haute couture look I craved. I left floating. I am beyond thrilled with my hair color and blow dry. Tucked into the historic section of Dunnellon, The early Florida 1910 bungalow renovated with Joy de Vivre and exceptional taste was home. I found my salon!
