    Highly recommend any service done by Kali. She did an absolutely amazing job on my hair. Kali was so welcoming, listened to exactly what I wanted and kept a good conversation. She poured so much effort in to making sure my hair was perfection! The salon was also super cute, which was an added bonus!

    Absolutely adore! I’ve been coming to Southern Roots for years now, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Jessie, the owner and stylist, and Kali are absolute gems. They always know how to give me the perfect cut and Jessie’s color work is AMAZING! They always make sure I leave feeling fabulous every time. True artists who consistently exceed my expectations. The salon itself is clean, stylish, and welcoming. If you’re looking for skilled stylists who truly care, I highly recommend Jessie, Kali, and the whole team at Southern Roots! ❤️

    Absolutely love Southern Roots! Ive been coming here for a few years now and Jessie and Kali are incredible. My hair always looks incredible when I leave, and the atmosphere is so relaxing and lovely. Jessie and Britt did the hair and makeup for my bridal party and I and they did an amazing job. Truly cannot say enough good things!

    Southern Roots is simply the best! The stylists are all talented and friendly. I have been seeing Kali for a long time now and she is the sweetest and so good at making me feel fresh and beautiful! I highly recommend her and the salon in general. It’s so adorable and inviting inside!

    This place is phenomenal! I went to Aveda Institute and had a bad experience. I was scheduled for consultation with Arii and she took the time to listen to my needs. She scheduled me in for color correction and balayage. She spent time pampering me, taking great care of my hair and educated me about how to care for my hair. Arii is super creative and inquisitive and you you will LOVE your services here because it is worth every penny. Everyone here is talented and I can also appreciate that!

    Jessie and her team have provided excellent service to my family and myself over the years. They have patiently worked with my hair to get it healthy. They are knowledgeable on what products fit my needs and the salon is perfectly decorated. You feel at home here.

    Kali Lyons is so talented and such a sweetheart! I have had my hair colored, cut and styled by her 3 times and she never fails to make my hair look amazing. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair before I met her!

    I have been coming here for a few years now and it is the best place I’ve been too! Staff is great and the owner (Jessie) is amazing. They are accommodating and when they had issues with their place during the hurricane Jessie rented out another place to keep things going!!

    Kali did an absolutely amazing job on my hair! I was looong overdue for touching up the blonde in my hair and she killed it. She was so welcoming, listened to exactly what I wanted and asked throughout my visit if there was anything she could get me. The salon has a cute little cottage type vibe to it which just made it feel so homey. Highly recommend seeing Kali at southern roots!

    I cant say enough great things about Jesse and her team here. I had Jesse style my hair for my wedding and the moment I moved back into town I knew she was my girl for all my hair needs. Every time I come, I always am shocked at how beautiful my hair looks. She has so much talent and always takes the time to hear my concerns. I have been going to Jesse for over 2 years now and my hair is the healthiest its ever been.

    What a beautiful gem of a hair salon in cute and quaint little Safety Harbor! I had the pleasure of getting my hair blessed by Jessie and she gave me the most beautiful and natural highlights while preserving the health and integrity of my hair. She brightened me up so I felt fresh while not overprocessing me so we can keep it growing and healthy. I love the super friendly staff here, the salon itself is so warm and adorable, and Jessie could not be any more sweet or talented! This really is Southern Hospitality at its finest! I will be back!

    Jessie is magical! I have been struggling to find a permanent hairdresser for 2 years since moving to FL. Jessie has an amazing little salon with the cutest decor. She listens to what you want, she offers great conversation and does magic to your hair. I have a co-worker that has seen her for 4 years and after admiring her cut and highlights, I thought I’d check her out. I am so happy to have found my permanent hairdresser!     Ive been lucky enough to be a part of this salon since day.1. Going to get your hair done used to feel almost like a chore at times but going to Southern Roots makes you feel excited for the refresh. I have always been 1000% happy with my results and Jessie always listens to my ideas or concerns and has the perfect solution for them. The salon is always clean and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. If youre looking for a new place, try them out. I promise you wont be sorry!

    I moved to Tampa for school and could not find a reliable place for the life of me. I came across this gem online and let me sayyyy WOW. I was so impressed by just about everything. First of all, the salon itself is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. I want whoever decorated it to decorate my house. It has such a homey feel. I have such a hard time sitting in one spot waiting for my hair to process but I had no trouble doing that here. Jess was so wonderful, she did my hair perfect. Im very picky when it comes to my hair and I went in there not really knowing what I wanted to do with it, yet she absolutely nailed it. She did everything I wanted and more, without even telling her what to do! This place is amazing and if youre hesitant to book, DO IT. You will not regret it. So happy I found it :)

    You want a talented stylist who actually listens, and makes your hair beautiful and easy to maintain? Then this is the salon for you. I see Nicole, who is so good that I followed her when she changed salons, but all of the stylists are top notch and the customer service is excellent.The salon itself is clean with an eclectic mix of vintage and contemporary design. The chairs at the sinks for washing hair are the right height and come with a customizable footstool which creates the most comfortable experience I have had in a salon.Southern Roots is in a cute little town where parking is sometimes a challenge but there is ample FREE parking right next to the salon and across the street from the salon.
