I have gone to Tamar Dupre Salon many times in the last 3 years, always looking for something different, and they have never disappointed me! My hair always feels healthy and looks gorgeous after I visit. I always show photos and explain my vision, and they give me what I want, and make amazing suggestions that make it even better. The salon is clean, has a fun and friendly atmosphere, is full of energetic and professional stylists, and the business runs well because the owner cares about the experience of everyone involved. Every stylist there is an asset to the salon, as I and my friends combined have had experiences with them all. The products they sell are top tier, affordable, and easy to use, and I am always going back to replenish!Thank you to this team for giving clients like me a great place to visit. It is obvious to me that you care about your small business, and the community who supports you!

Salon Dupre is without question, the best thing that has ever happened to my hair. When I first came to them, my hair was coarse, dry and britally, after years of low-quality product from an inferior salon. Not only have they made my hair absolutely beautiful, but it is also shiny and healthy now. I will never go anywhere else!

I literally would never let anyone ever touch my hair besides Jen. She’s been doing my hair for a decade and a half and I would follow her anywhere. Her talent and the staff at Tamar Dupre Salon are second to none. I’ve never had a single negative experience and always been greeted with positive and kind energy. If you’re looking for a stylist, any one at this salon would be amazing but Jen is my choice, hands down.

Absolutely brilliant blowout experience! I came in desperately needing a refresh and master stylist Jayne Nilsen took fantastic care of me. She gave me a wonderful wash with a lot of TLC and a nice conditioning treatment. We followed up with a trim I was in much need of and then blowout / styling. She gave me great tips and product recommendations while also being so thoughtful throughout the experience. I will be back! Book with Jayne asap! 10/10!

I have been a client of Tamar Dupre Salon since the day it opened and continually get compliments all the time about my fantastic color! I have had all services done at the salon, Cuts, Color, Blowout and Extensions at one point, and they have all been done with the utmost professionalism, skills and knowledge. In fact, this salon is dedicated to Continuing Education for all stylists and you will often find an Educator in the Salon running classes. This is why people come from all over Tampa Bay to be served by Tamar and all of her wonderful staff.I have to add, it is sad to see other Google Reviews here that are posted simply to be petty or malign a small business. Especially when a quick check of that Reviewers other reviews show a history of this type of low review behavior in search, it seems, for a refund of some sort.You cant go wrong visiting Tamar Dupre Salon, they are simply the best!

Tammy and crew at Tamar Dupre Salon have transformed my look into a presentable human 🤪😎😘. For real, the team there is the best in the business. Every time I walk in I feel welcomed by all. I used to get stressed getting a haircut but for the past two plus years going to Tammy it has been a pleasure! Love them!

This salon is the best! Every stylist is welcoming and friendly. Jen does the absolute BEST hair color. I will not let anyone but Jen color my hair, she has been doing my hair for over 8 years and it always comes out flawless. From extensions, makeup, and waxing, the staff here can do it all!

I visited Tamar Dupre Salon for the first time on Monday. I liked the atmosphere, it was laid back and they played good music. All the stylists seem to have a good relationship with each other and it was fun to sit there while I waited for my colors to process. I wanted to do something fun and festive for the holidays so I saw Sam who specializes in bold colors. I showed her a few pictures of what I was looking for and she did such an excellent job. I was a little chilly while my color was processing and since my hair had to be washed with cold water they even offered me a fleece blanket. I thought that was above and beyond service. They also offer you coffee, wine, or beer which was a plus because I knew that I was going to be there for a while. I expected it to be very pricey since it was on Main Street and I actually found it to be quite affordable for the work I had done. I will definitely return to the salon in the future! Thank you, Sam, for making my vision a reality!! And thank you Mariah and Tyler for the laughs :)

I had an amazing updo here for my event! This was the first time ever that my updo hair actually stayed all night even dancing and everything! It looked so elegant and beautiful. Very reasonably priced and they just know what they are doing, you don’t have to keep explaining. Great place, you won’t regret!!

These stylists are awesome! Also, they have all had safe space training. Welcoming and friendly. A large selection of beverages ( including wine/beer). You feel like you walked into your family home as everyone interacts, jokes, .... just a great place to relax and enjoy! Did I mention the head massages 💆‍♀️....

Have I told you lately how much I love my hair! I go to Jayne. No matter where I move to, I go back to Jayne. Luckily I’m only 2 hours from her, last place I live it was 12!She is very professional, knowledgeable, loves what she does, and understands your needs.This salon is in a great area, very clean, and inviting. And parking is great. too. Go to Jayne, she won’t disappoint.

BOOK WITH JAYNE - she is wonderful!! She has years of experience, shes also professional and very thorough!! My hair hadnt been professionally done in almost a year and she took the time to carefully test before she applied any color/bleach to be sure and NOT damage it since we were doing such a drastic update. We split the appt into 2 sessions to also help w/this. The salon is adorable and clean! The team seems to work well together even when its busy. I will definitely be back!

I go to Jen for my color and cut, and I love her and I love the great atmosphere in the salon. Everyone is so friendly and they all get along so well. Jen is very attentive to make sure she has given you the results you need and she gives me one of the best cuts that I have ever had. I highly recommend this salon!

Tamar/Tammy was incredible! I was so nervous to find a new curly cut person after going to the same person for a long time, but I saw a recommendation for her on my new local community page. She does a wet cut which I’m used to but she even recommended going to the 2 other curly stylists who each specialize in different types of curly dry cuts. I will be back!!

I have been going to Tamar dupre salon for 1.5 years and I always have an amazing experience. I originally went to have my hair color fixed and Jen did a beautiful job. She fixed my balayage. I had my wedding hair and makeup done at the salon and I could not have envisioned a more prefect experience. I go quite often to get my roots touched up and I feel like everyone that works there, especially Jen is so kind and compassionate about what they do. I look forward to my visits with Jen every 4-6 weeks!!!!

I always have the most wonderful experience whenever I go to Tamar Dupre Salon!! As a natural blonde who wanted to become a natural looking redhead, it was very difficult to find someone who could get me there. Now I do not trust anyone else with my hair except them!! Tammy goes above and beyond to provide exceptional hair services AND a fun and comfortable atmosphere for her clients. She is the kindest and most generous person. She has hired an incredible staff: Tyler, Jen, Sam, Alex, and the rest of the staff always do whatever it takes to give their clients the color/style they desire. My hair has never looked/felt better. Thank you guys for taking such great care of me and my hair!!

My stylist for years move away and a friend recommended Tamar Dupre Salon. Im so glad she did!!!Upon making my appt., I told the receptionist I had short hair and to place me with someone who knew now to cut & style it. When I arrived I was greeted by my Stylist Jen, (dont know her last name) who offered me something to drink (water, coffee or wine). Before any hair cutting started, Jen & I discussed what my needs were for my short hair. She was very professional & personable. Like talking to your best friend. Once completion my hair looked wonderful. Looks like I found my new Stylist. Thank you Jen. I will be coming back.

I got my hair done yesterday from Sam, and I love it so much!! We did a balayage and made it a lot shorter. My hair feels so healthy now! And smells great.She was a great conversationalist and the other two ladies who were there were also very nice. They offer drinks like water or wine. It was a nice environment to be around and will go again next time I get something done

She explained step by step what she thought would fix my hair and then proceeded to explain everything during execution. I left with confidence and trust. Tyler is the only stylist I will let touch my crown & glory because of his impeccable techniques and knowledge of hair. I can relax and unwind during my service knowing that I am in the best of hands. Tyler takes care of my hair cut and color and leaves my hair feeling brand new when I leave. He has an unforgettable personality and is absolutely one of a kind. I recommend him to every person I know who needs their hair done and believe me when I tell you they are never disappointed!

Lisa Button has been my stylist for 4 years now. She is great. She can not only handle my crazy hair (and believe me it has scared plenty of hairdressers away in the past) but also make it look amazing every time. Her highlights are flawless (color matches perfectly, no roots are showing, no randomly placed stripes). My haircut always turns out great. She is always learning new techniques. Every time I see her she has new ideas. You can tell she enjoys her job and wants to make her clients happy. My visits can take up to 3 hours but she is very easy to talk to and makes the time fly by.

I love this salon. I have a very hectic schedule with my job. I can never commit to a scheduled appointment. Anytime i call they always accommodate me. I have had from Brandi to Tammy and now Tyler. Tammy the owner is amazing as well and so nice. They are all so friendly and funny and all are so talented. I have never left there without loving my hair. They all do a great job. Beautiful and clean salon.

Tamar Dupre Salon is the best Salon Ive been to in years! From the moment I walked into this Salon I knew Id found a great place. The salon staff was so welcoming and made me feel right at home right away. You see.....Getting my hair cut has always given me anxiety.... In fear that the trim I want will end up being a full fledged cut and new style. But Tyler (Stylist and Make up artist at the salon) took the time to speak with me and really understand what I was asking for, before he started on my hair. I left the Salon extremely happy and my hair was revived and bouncy again, with a shine that I havent had in years. Ive already been back twice for eyebrow waxing and a wash & style for an event I was attending. Thank you Tamar Dupre Salon and Tyler! Ive finally found my Salon home. ☺️
