    I used this Salon for my bridal hair and makeup as well as for all of my bridesmaids and immediate family members. Everything turned out better than expected! I was beyond happy with my hair and makeup! It lasted well beyond the wedding and I couldnt be happier. Highly recommended for local and affordable! We had a total of 7 people for hair and makeup and we were accommodated perfectly. I booked the appointment about a year in advance to ensure availability.

    My first visit to Salon Jaylee in February I saw Maddie who reshaped my hair and did the most marvelous color, highlighting and moisture treatment. She got me ready for a trip to Australia! She was a joy to work with.In March I saw Lexi as Maddie was booked. I was lucky to work with Lexi. Another beautiful, talented and very skilled hair stylist. I am thrilled to call this my new salon.

    As a walk-in, I am always hopeful that my new stylist appears. Ta - Daā€¦ enter Erin!! She listened to me first, then added her two cents, and about an hour later, success: I walked out with a glorious color and cut for only $144 ( plus my grateful tip.) I made a return appointment.

    I had an appointment with my normal hairdresser (M - who was really great) but was changed to Raja because M left the salon. Raja was amazing! Did a super hair cut and was really fun and easy to connect with. Change can be good!

    I have been a customer of Salon Jaylee for the past 6 years. Megan Shaw (who is currently at the Southern Trace location) has been my stylist for the entire time. She always provides me with excellent service. She is a Master Stylist who truly knows her craft. She knows exactly how I like my hair colored and styled and always makes me feel gorgeous when I walk out of her shop. She understands customer service and does an outstanding job making sure Iā€™m happy when I leave her shop! I wouldnā€™t go anywhere else to get my hair done! I highly recommend her if you want excellence in your hair coloring, cutting, or styling!

    First time at Jaylee Salon and what a gorgeous salon!!!! Kaitlyn did my hair and did an AMAZING job! I have wavy/curly hair and the color was off. Kaitlyn gave me an amazing cut (no more bulk!!) and brought my color to the point where it will be much easier to maintain! Kaitlyn is an artist! I wish I lived closer (I live in Rhode Island!)....She would be my stylist foreverrrrr!!!! Thank you, Kaitlyn!!!

    The prices are reasonable. Always availability depending on the service needed. Iā€™ve seen Maddie the last couple times I went and she was super friendly and did an amazing job. I think sheā€™s been more excited about doing my hair than I was and i love and appreciate her energy. Itā€™s been the first time in a while I can say I love my hair. My hair is super thick and a lot of stylists Iā€™ve gone to always make negative comments about it or have an attitude the second they start. Even when Iā€™ve phoned ahead to request a longer appointment time to warn and accommodate. Maddie didnā€™t complain at all. And was so excited to help me get the look I wanted the first time I saw her. The second time I went she was so excited to tell me about what she had been thinking about all week long for my hair. I loved the fact that she thought about me and what she could do to help make me look amazing and love my hair.

    Today, I visited Salon Jaylee for the first time. Alexis did my hair. She did a root tap, partial highlight, toner, mask, cut and style. I love the way my hair feels and looks, and really enjoyed my time with Alexis as well as all of the other stylists at the Salon. They have a promotion right now with R+Co Bleu you purchase the shampoo and conditioner and get the mask free, they are all full size bottles. I highly recommend Salon Jaylee the atmosphere is exquisite and the staff welcomes you as if you were at home. Iā€™ve rebooked my next appointment.

    Azra did an incredibly wonderful job on my 16-year-old daughterā€™s hair! My daughter walked in with orange/brassy, uneven-toned, highlighted hair. Azra was able to get my daughterā€™s darker strands back to her natural colors, and added the most beautiful highlights. After all of this work, my teen daughterā€™s hair was the softest it has been in months! Azra had great attentiveness to detail, and truly gave my daughter (and me) the look my daughter had wanted to start her school year off right. I highly recommend Azra & Salon Jaylee, and will be back for services myself!

She was incredibly patient with my 4-year-old and clearly has the knowledge and experience to correct the previous salonā€™s mistake.     I had another great experience at Salon Jaylee. I decided to wear a longer short style as opposed to letting my hair grow out and wear it longer. Emily gave me one of the best cuts Ive ever had. I like the style and ease of care. I have fine but thick hair with ridiculous cowlicks so a good cut isnt easy but Emily did a great job. Plus I really like the new lower prices a Salon Jaylee.Im letting my hair grow out from a very short style. I expected the process to be difficult but Sarah shapes and maintains a style that I like as my hair gets longer. I am really pleased. Also Salon Jaylee is a lovely salon. Its bright, cheerful and the staff is warm and friendly.

    Angela is the best stylist ever!! My first visit with her was after I had foolishly decided to get a perm. While the perm wasnā€™t the disaster I thought it was, I had no idea what to do with my hair afterwords. She gave me a perfect cut and introduced me to the most amazing product called Bleu Rebounce. I loved how my hair turned out (and itā€™s effortless to manage).I could go on, but suffice it to say that Angela truly is the consummate professional ā€” very perceptive and skilled and a great ambassador for Salon Jaylee.     Salon Jaylee at Southern Trace is a beautiful, light-filled, immaculately clean salon. I was visiting the area and got a last-minute appointment with Alexis; she did a fantastic wash/heavy condition and blowout. Iā€™d trust her to handle anything. Wish I lived here full time!     I would like to give 5 stars because I love the way Bethanne cuts and colors my hair. However, I do take offense at the outrageous prices you are now charging in addition to tacking on a customer tip convenience fee when adding a tip if using a debit card. When I return in the fall, I will seriously consider looking for another hair salon because of your rising prices.

When I moved to The Villages from Maryland I was very concerned about finding someone who could do my hair the way my stylist of 20+ years had done it.     They use new disposable equipment for each person, so you donā€™t have to worry about getting nail fungus. Price includes glass(es) of 3 different kinds of wine which is nice. My mom and I did together and we sat side-by-side in the massage chairs for our pedicures which includes lower leg massage. It was very nice.

    For almost 10 years, Jackie Johnson has been coloring and cutting my hair. She is the best! Everyone compliments my hair color and style and wants to know who does my hair!     McKayla did a beautiful job Correcting my hair color. My hair is naturally dark and I had some highlights that caused brassiness that I was having a hard time overcoming. I was recommended to McKayla who repaired the color and made my hair a beautiful caramel brown while still maintaining some subtle highlights. She listened carefully to my request and gave me the result I wanted to achieve! I highly recommend her services!

    Angels Harman is amazing! Im extremely picky about my blonde highlights. She never fails me.     I was greeted by Carla upon my arrival (very friendly face/smile), she checked me in for my appointment & offered me water. McKayla, my stylist met me promptly and she began to talk to me about my hair (McKayla has cut/styled my hair twice, but she changed locations and I sorta lost touch) Next, she spent alot of time reacquainting with my hair, offered suggestions after listening to what I was wanting . I ended up with a beautiful cut/style.     When I moved to The Villages as a young professional who was used to only going to the best salons, I was worried that I wouldnā€™t be able to find a salon appropriate for people my age. After trying out a few in the area, I finally booked with McKayla Bugg as Salon Jaylee in Southern Trace and I fell in LOVE. The salon is beautiful, very modern, impeccably clean, the chairs for the hair wash station are amazingly comfortable, and the service I received was fantastic. I believe McKayla was a higher level, a cut with her was just north of $70, but Iā€™d go again in a heartbeat. She worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted, but then she used her expertise to make my hair even better. Highly recommend this salon, and highly recommend McKayla Bugg as your stylist!

    KEYANA gave me the perfect haircut!! Two years ago my hair was chopped off and stacked in the back, against my wishes. I have been growing it out and I finally decided I needed someone to FIX it but I just didnt want to lose the length I had worked so hard to achieve which is finally down to my shoulders. Keyana sectioned my hair as a true professional and she cut my hair so it was even/symmetrical on both sides and she KEPT my Length! Its 4 days later and I am still so thrilled at he job she did! She listened and she did exactly what I was hoping for. The price was a little higher than I had paid in the past $45 vs. $18 but obviously you get what you pay for! For the price, you get your hair washed in a massaging chair (I didnt want to get out of that), the salon was clean and beautiful, everyone was nice, and I just cant say enough about KEYANA!!! When I opened it up by turning the cap, the entire lid and pump came up. I knew that wasnā€™t right. It didnā€™t spill but I was also very careful. I even tried just pulling the cap off but it didnā€™t seem to want to budge and I didnā€™t want to break it. So I returned it hoping to exchange it or show me if I was doing something wrong. The young lady who helped me had zero personality to start with. I already felt like there was a problem before she even looked at it. She too opened it exactly as I did the first time except she spilled a fair amount of it onto her mousepad as well as on the bottle and her hands. She then put the cap back on and proceeded to pull the cap off instead which revealed the pump. She stated I was just doing it wrong. I said ok but Iā€™ll take a different bottle since it had spilled. She looked at me funny and said why? She said she couldnā€™t because she wouldnā€™t be able to sell it. No one else will want to buy it and thereā€™s nothing wrong with it. She handed the bag back to me and walked away. No thank you. No have a nice day. Nothing. What kind of service is that and especially at Salon Jaylee? She could have nicely just apologized and worded it differently. I was made to feel like I was trying to get away with something. Iā€™ve spent enough money there and would never expect to be treated like that. And, if nobody else would want it as she said, then why would she think I would? Iā€™m very displeased with the way I was treated. It makes me never want to go back there. Over a $34 bottle of foundation. She could have handled it differently. She definitely shouldnā€™t be representing Jaylee with the attitude she showed me.Not to mention there was a gentleman employee standing next to her and he seemed nice enough but when she started to ask me why when I requested a different bottle, he stopped speaking from then on. He didnā€™t say goodbye either. Very juvenile behavior in my opinion. You just lost a customer in case anybody cares. (I donā€™t know the name of the young lady but this took place approximately 1:00pm on 11/27/2018.
