    I always have a good experience here and Aliya was fantastic! She took her time and checked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy! I have very thick hair and was very indecisive, but she did not rush me and made me feel comfortable! I love my new haircut, thank you Aliya!

    Stevie is amazing!! I came into the salon and got her as my stylist by chance. She made me feel very comfortable and did a wonderful job on my hair, so much so that I ended up booking her to do my hair for my wedding. I showed her a picture from Pinterest and she replicated it perfectly. The curls lasted all night and I got a ton of compliments on my hair. I cant say enough great things about her or the staff at Avantgarde, they are awesome!

    I absolutely love my stylist Chris! The salon itself is very welcoming and warm and they are committed to making you feel spoiled. Chris has done an amazing job saving my poor hair that needed a lot of special care in order to become the absolute best that it has ever been. He recommended that I get a deep conditioning treatment and let me just say that I absolutely love how it makes my hair feel and I really can see a huge difference! He has also done an amazing job on every cut and color I have received to date, really I cant say enough about how awesome he is! They also have a few amazing products that I will say are definitely worth the money. I tell my girlfriends all the time to give Avantgarde a chance! You wont regret it!!!

    I got my hair cut today by Stevie for the first time and I have to say I am extremely happy with my cut and the entire experience! My hair was super long and I needed a drastic change. I decided to go with a long-medium bob and get rid of a ton of my hair. I was pretty nervous to say the least!Stevie was amazing right from the start! She met my nervousness with patience and kindness. I showed her pictures of what I was thinking and we talked for a good few minutes about it. The more we talked, the more confident and excited I grew about getting this cut. She knew exactly what I wanted and understood what she had to do to achieve this for my type of hair. And by the time she was done I had EXACTLY what I wanted! I left the salon feeling amazing and so excited about the huge change I had just made! My hair is beautiful and the cut done perfectly well. I am going to continue seeing Stevie for all my future cuts and will also have her do my color should I decide to color in the future. Her knowledge and confidence assured me I was in good hands the entire time...and I was! I definitely recommend Stevie and look forward to seeing her again!Also have to mention how great and clean and comfortable the salon itself is too. The staff was super friendly and accommodating from start to finish. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and Im so glad I chose this place! Thank you to everyone who took care of me of today, especially Stevie!😉

    Andrea L. is a Godsend! I came in because I had the worst tangles in my hair that anyone had ever seen and I thought we were going to have to cut them out. For 3 hours, she patiently combed them out (with Brittney’s help between her clients). She then shampooed, dried and styled it. I Could not have been happier with her work!

    Love going here and the Destin Location for salon services and to purchase products. I would like to say I have purchased products from another local Aveda salon and it seemed like the product was old and had been sitting on a shelf in the sun for a while. I dont have to worry about that here at Avant Garde, they never miss!

    This was my first time at avantgarde. My curly hair was in desperate need of a cut to bounce the curls and reduce the frizz. Christina did a fabulous job meeting all my expectations. The salon’s atmosphere was pleasant and the facility was very clean. It was a great experience. I plan on making another appointment in 4 weeks.

    I could write an entire essay about how perfect my experience was. Christina did a PHENOMENAL job with my balayage and I’ve never loved my hair more. She’s also honest and up front through the entire process- you know exactly what you’re paying for and exactly what’s being done to your hair, which I really appreciate! PERFECT experience!

    Used this salon for the first time a few weeks ago. I was impressed with the curtious and helpful staff. My stylist Chris is a new to the business and I was very impressed with his professionalism and technique. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxing as well. Great first experience with these folks.     Enjoyed my service! First time getting my hair professionally colored... decided to go with caramel balayage.. my hair is naturally deep dark brown, curly and frizzy. Morgan did an awesome job, got my caramel color highlights- perfect for the summer and upcoming wedding :-) definitely reccomend-Especially Morgan!

    Love coming to Avantgarde - the salon is beautiful and the stylists are excellent. I can only come in on Saturdays so Ive worked with and recommend both Kayla and Ellie for great haircuts and color. And of course the Aveda products are wonderful. Ive already recommended Avantgarde to friends, so glad to have this salon nearby in Niceville.

    I saw Kristina and she did a great job. As soon as I walked in I was asked if I wanted a drink. I received water in a glass, and it was not from the tap. Didnt wait long to be seated. She was very pleasant and listened to everything I wanted. Cant wait to see her again :)

    I love Aveda products and my stylist Morgan is wonderful! I have gone to Aveda where ever I live, the products make your hair look very natural and in good condition as well. I highly recommend it!

    Chris is amazing with my mom. He is so patient. She has alzheimers. The early stages. Chris, without knowing, met every request my mom made with a smile and joy. She even asked him to come out to the parking lot to look for me and he did. Never rude, never complained. The highlights and color was amazing, really rejuvenated her. Mom loved it. Even likes how he blow dries her hair too. He treats her with respect and kidness. My mom has taken a liking and preference to him. I love to see that. She may forget things but she doesnt forget him and always says I like Chris from that avant tarde place. So every time she wants her hair done, Chris is the guy and Avant Garde is the salon.
