    A skilled staff and competitive pricing keep clients coming back and making referrals. Highlights, foils, root color, balayage and more, they do it all. Redken, Kenra and All Nutrient products are sold along with Woodys mens grooming products. Mens haircuts and beard trims are also done to perfection.

    Friendly, professional environment, and Wes the owner of the place and his wife are good people and he does great haircuts that are consistent. Before we moved here the same guy had been cutting my hair for 26 years so finding a replacement was not easy I had to try your typical mainstream salons where I could not find somebody that could give me a good consistent haircut till I found Hair Express and Wes, now we won’t go to anybody but him for me and my son.

    Mae is fire. Years ago, I followed Mel from another place to Hair Express, and when she stopped doing hair, I went where she suggested I go (bc of stylist, not salon). Four hairdressers later, I serendipitously found my way back to Hair Express, and there I found Mae. Shes legitimately gifted with cut and color, and Im keenly fond of this hometown salon. Mae better never leave!!!

    New to the area and saw the big reviews on here. Made an appointment with Sherry and she was the BEST stylist Ive ever been to! She walked up to get me and called me by name. Was friendly throughout the entire process.(the whole staff was friendly and other stylists included me in the conversations)What amazed me was Sherry took the initiative and suggested what cut would look good on me. She listened to what I wanted and suggested the best way to achieve that. What I loved is how she actually told me and suggested what would be best for me. I would ask previous stylists what would be better and they would always just leave it up to me and never suggest or seem confident in what would be best for me. I will definitely be back to see Sherry again. Thank you so much!

    Oh my goodness made mistake of having hair colored while traveling. Thank goodness for Wes and staff. He was able to correct my color. The staff at this salon is so talented and professional. Staff are very modern and forward thinking. I visit with ladies from twenty years to ninety years. Lots of laughter and many smiles at this salon. The shop is always decorated for the season thanks to Stephanie and very clean There is always an effort to change an appointment and accommodate my schedule. Can’t go wrong here. So happy for local salon with so many professionals who understand their color products. This week I saw the most beautiful rainbow colors and an upsweep with a chignon you could not tell that it was not real. Five stars easy

    I would HIGHLY recommend this salon to ANYONE! Beth and Mel have been doing my hair since I could remember! The staff is very professional and a great time to be around! I never leave disappointed or upset with how I was treated or how my hair turned out! Communication is key when you get your hair done, they ask tons of questions to make sure you get what your asking for!! Everyone is completely honest and will explain the steps if youre doing a drastic change. The stylists are very knowledgable with what they are doing! Never ever disappointed with this salon! Keep it up ladies and Wes!

    I dont trust anyone else with my hair! I have seen both Mel and Beth and have always been more than happy with the outcome. They ask what you are wanting before they even get started, are very personable, and make sure that it looks the way you wanted in the end. The salon is very clean and inviting, all the employees are wonderful to talk to. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great experience!

    Awesome PlaceWes is the best! He always listens and gives me the haircut I ask for.I like that. Not all hair stylists do that.He has cut my hair off and on for about 20 years; I have gone through the short, curly (well pretty much all hair phases)It doesnt matter if I bring a picture or just describe what I want; He can cut it.

    Got my haircut and styled by Kathleen today. Hope I got the name right. She was able to tame my awful quarantine hair. She is a Awesome, charismatic lady. I can be socially awkward from time to time but she made me very comfortable we talked about many things, she was very entertaining and did an amazing job with my haircut and incredible job styling. Best haircut and styling Ive ever had. Thanks Kathleen 😊

    Got a quality mens haircut for a reasonable price. Wes did a great job and has a friendly personality. I overheard one of the female customers comment to Wes that all of the hairdressers there do an excellent job.

    This is one of the most awesome salons I have ever been to, and Mel is a dream. Everyone there is great and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I get compliments on my hair every time I get it done. I have been to so many different places and none come close to their level of awesome.

    Wes has been taking care of my hair for years and it is not easy! Hes a great stylist and great with my color. His wife, Stephanie always has the salon decorated perfectly and its a lovely atmosphere to relax!

    I have had a few hair cuts in my lifetime. The basis by which I judge an establishment that cuts hair is not just by the haircut itself but also the service offered by the stylist. Moving to the area 6 months ago, I just stopped by Hair Express because it was the closest. But truth be told they go beyond convenience. I have seen three stylists while at Hair Express but Mel would be my favorite. Shes personable; always asks what I want before she starts cutting, makes great conversation, and asks me if everything is exactly as it should be when she finishes. Communication is key with a haircut and I have gotten a lot of bad haircuts. I think the people at Hair Express are awesome and provide a great service.

    Hair express is my favorite hair salon in town. The staff is always over the top welcoming and the salon is always clean! It’s, without a doubt, the only place I trust to cut my kids’ hair.PS) Mel is amazing ❤️ My kids absolutely LOVE her!

    Ignore whatever that one lady posted about Cyndy because holy cow I would never trust anyone else with my hair. She has cut mine exactly how I want and as a busy on the go high school student has helped make my hair easy to do in the morning. She also did my hair for prom, now I have natural wavy hair that wont hold a curl for more than 10 minutes, have been to several ladies who could barely get it to hold. She did mine and it lasted well into the night, the most beautiful I have ever seen my hair! She is awesome! This is also one of the most proffesional/prettiest hair places I have ever been to.

    Awesome services. Wes Pettis is most probably the best stylist in Oklaoosa County or Florida. Hes been my stylist for 6 years. His coloring is amazing. The color doesnt fade. He is amazing for any style you choose. His wife Stephanie and staff are professionals who are very talented. The shop stays beautiful due to Stephanies decorating skills. It changes it season.     Wes is an amazing Barber and Stylist. Men and women. He can do it all. If you want an appointment, call ahead...at lest a day. I called one time and he was booked for two weeks. Hes that good.

    Moved to this area and was looking for new stylist. I walked in on a Friday morning and asked for hair cut and low lights - I had no appointment. I was paired with Stephanie. I explained my hair, how it laid~curled, etc. I showed her pictures of what I was trying to achieve. She listened & understood what I wanted. She consulted with Wess-who helped interpret what I was trying to achieve and the proper way for her to cut my hair (the last stylist had cut it too much with texture scissors ). At the end of the appointment I had my hair style & low lights! I will be back - Stephanie is awesome!Ps: they have a special sale going on now. I bought 2 Kenra products and didnt have to go Destin!
