Literally the best natural hair stylists I’ve ever had besides doing it myself! She was very knowledgeable, she gave me a perfectly cute haircut and set me up for success. I’ve never had a style last this long even after it was untwisted. I sweat sooo much and the fact that my curls stayed in place was crazy! Her techniques and using the steam and moisture for a wash over an hour is one of a kind. HIGHLY recommend.

I loved visiting CiCi Love studio! Lou was very personal and professional. She listened to my concerns and considered what I wanted whilst still giving me the best professional advice. She took her time to really analyze my hair and considered the fact that I was post partum when giving me recommendations. She didnt just try to sell me more products that wouldnt help considering my post pregnancy state. I will definitely be returning for her help with my natural hair journey.

PROS: Lou is very welcoming and I could tell that she was a master of her craft before she even picked up the scissors. She took her time to chop my hair from shoulder length to a cute tapered cut. She also educated me regarding the best products to use and different tips and tricks to make my fine curly hair pop.CONS: I found the price of $175 to be ridiculously expensive. I did not have long hair to begin with and my hair is not thick at all. That was the price for the cut only, not including wash or style (Lou did do a quick style with mousse but according to her booking site, that is the price for the cut only). Given the fact that I paid less than $50 for a great tapered cut before the pandemic, my pockets were weeping when I had to dish out $125 more for the same quality cut. Not sure if I should blame inflation or hairstylists that take advantage of it, but the sticker shock left a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. Luckily, a friend gifted this haircut to me so Im glad that I was able to experience Lous talented hands.

Lou is a great natural hair care stylist! She evaluates your hair prior to shampooing and gives the best shampoos. I’ve been to her twice and I booked the first time client package with the steam and treatment the first time I visited her and it was absolutely divine. She also used steam and a treatment for my second visit as well. I also told her that I prefer my hair to be blown out and flat twisted, because I like the results and she accommodated my request. My hair turned out beautiful! I totally recommend Lou for your natural curls, she will not disappoint!

Based on the superior ratings, I felt comfortable in giving Loudney a try. After speaking with her about my hair care routine and activities, I decided to cut my hair. She cut my hair as requested, washed it, and talked me through the process of washing and styling my hair. I am VERY PLEASED with the outcome! NO regrets at all! This is my fourth year coming to Lou! I dont even live in South Florida anymore, but I make sure to book her when Im in town. I tried getting cut by other curl hairstylists while I was overseas and my hair was not happy. I came back to Lou for her to fix it and my hair is back to being coily and luscious. She is truly the curly hair whisperer. Her technique is unmatched! And so is her energy. I dont let just anyone touch my curls, but she is truly the best. Highly recommend!

I have been to many curl stylists, some more affordable and some just downright awful. I will forever choose Lou! I have never left her chair dissatisfied or felt the need to fix it at home. Not only is she knowledgeable in curly hair, especially kinky hair - she is also very kind and has great customer service. In the Instagram hair industry today, it’s so hard to find great customer service and truly kind people. I love Lou and I because of her I am also in love with my hair!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This woman is one of the smartest people I know, and I hang around a lot of very smart people! More than smart, she really does care about your hair, and is extremely passionate about you loving yours.I began following her on Instagram because another highly reputable natural hair care professional constantly shared her work in her community. Just look at her social media...you cannot disagree with the fact that she is a genius. The images and videos do all of the talking. Then when she does her lives or stories, she adds so much more. What I really appreciate is how she encourages all of us to take care of ourselves beyond our hair. Shell tell us to do the simple things we overlook, such as drink water and eat nutritious food for the purpose of supporting our already amazing hair.Now connecting with her, live, is a whole different level. She shared her recommendation for my hair based on my lifestyle, and truthfully, I did have doubts because I thought I was already doing well to take care of my hair. I followed her advice anyway. The very first week of my new Lou routine, my hair was softer and so much easier to work with. Again, it was the simple adjustments that made the difference.I have so much more to learn and cannot wait for my next appointment. She is an absolute genius and really is passionate about your hair.

This is the best place for my curly haired ladies. Lou literally loved on my hair for hours! A deep shampoo accompanied by a luxurious hair massage; paying extreme detail to every single curl on my head! The shampoo was followed by a deep condition alongside a steamer-think of this experience as a facial for your dry, lackluster curls! The hair cut was top notch, because she literally looks at each and every curl and cuts it according to its bounce! The result? stunning, moist and sensual curly hair that made me look younger and more sparkly. I love Lou..you will too!

I highly recommend Lou if you have natural curls and you are interested in a stylist who focuses on hair care. My hair needed some extra TLC as I’d just taken out a braided hairstyle. Lou was the perfect choice to deliver that TLC. Lou chatted with me to begin with and then carefully assessed my hair’s needs before giving it an extended wash and condition. I fell asleep at the wash bowl…the experience was so relaxing. She also showed me how best to apply my styling products to get the most out of my curls. I left with perfectly defined soft beautiful curls.

This was my third time going to CiciLove Curls and each time I leave with amazingly defined and hydrated curls and most of all, a serious education on how to better care for my hair. Unlike most stylist, her main goal is teaching her clients how to independently care for their curls so we get the desired results with out relying on a million different curling creams and gels and expensive tools. I travel from Orlando to see her and I consider it well worth the trip. I highly recommend her services to anyone who wants to embrace, understand, and improve their natural curls.

I had a virtual session with Loudney two years ago and she saved my hair! She spent hours walking me through how to detangle, wash, condition, treat, and style my hair. She had the patience of a saint. She was personable, knowledgeable and kind. My hair has thrived and Ive had stylists ask me what I do to make my hair look so great! Ive included my before and after from the first session. Yesterday, I had a second invaluable virtual session with Loudney to talk about my six year old daughters hair as well as to discuss postpartum hair care. Once again, she was wonderful. She walked me through the differences between my hair and my daughters and how I should approach the two. She provided individualized product recommendations. I left the session empowered with an arsenal of personalized tips and tricks to improve the way that I manage my daughters hair. I cannot recommend her services highly enough. Schedule your virtual session! You wont regret it.

Lou is absolutely amazing. A friend of mine, found her in June 2021 and recommended her. She is a god send because I wasn’t able to go to a salon for 5 years after getting in a car accident that left me quadriplegic. My friend searched and reached out to many salons to see if they would be able to accommodate me in my power chair and be comfortable performing services for me. She was one of the only salons to get back and said she could accommodate me. My hair was severely damaged because I wasn’t able to care for it properly because I am paralyzed. My first visit she got me together. She cut and styled my hair short so I could have a healthy hair start. She was very supportive through whole process because this was my first time ever cutting my hair. She recorded the process and sent it to me at the end of my appointment. I was nervous before my appointment but left satisfied. I had my second appointment a couple of days ago and she out did herself. I’m getting compliments from left to right. If you are a wheelchair user or even a quadriplegic don’t be afraid to contact her or book your appointment. She is super friendly and personable.

Obsessed with Lou! She’s wonderful. Very knowledgeable in natural haircare and super detailed. When I say detailed I mean she’s thorough. She took time cutting my hair piece by piece. Washed my hair with such care and meticulousness. Literally fell asleep while she was scrubbing my scalp. She explained to me what I was doing wrong with my hair and provided clear instructions on how I can remedy my issues. She styled my hair with just 1 product and my hair was super defined and moisturized as well.Overall, I enjoyed my experience and will definitely continue booking with her. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a stylist that knows what they’re doing.

Loudney (not sure who the Cici in CiciLove Curls refers to) is an AMAZING hairstylist. Not only is she a curl whisperer, shes funny and kind too. I ordered the very pricey (almost $600) new client package and was wary of what to expect given my hair was pretty severely damaged/dry from overuse of protective styles. In three hours Lou Lou got my hair back to its beautiful original state of super coily curls. She didnt gatekeep at all and shared with me every single product she used. She also gave me a much needed trim and was willing to do an additional cut/style as well if I wanted one (also included in the price). I ended up sticking with just the trim since I had somewhere else to be, but from what Ive seen from her IG account she is amazing with the scizzors as well. She also answered all of my questions regarding maintaining my hair on my own. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis to maintain the newfound health of my hair!

I’ve had a difficult time finding someone in Miami who could cut my curls into a good shape and really hoped that Lou could give me the haircut I’ve been looking for.Lou met me in the lobby at the scheduled appointment time. We briefly discussed the goals for my haircut, I showed her a few pictures of what I was hoping for, and she did her magic. The result was better than I’d hoped for. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! I spent the rest of the day marveling at her work. Strangers have been stopping me and commenting on my cut. It’s crazy. This is easily the most I’ve ever paid for a haircut - by a LOT - and it was worth every penny! Very professional. Clean. There was a very positive vibe in the hair studio.I will definitely be back!
