    The best experience ever and results way beyond my expectation! A close friend suggested Adara as my stylist for highlight… she and I consulted with a few photos I brought as suggestions and she killed it… even better than my expectation! To even better that experience, the “assistant” staff went an and beyond to ensure I had water/coffee, engaged in conversation, and ensured my comfort anytime they were helping through out my appointment. I’m not from here, but every time I visit Miami I try to pencil in an appointment for this amazing salon!

    The stylist was really good! I hadn’t cut my hair in a couple of years and was looking to accomplish a couple of different things with my cut. She was very good at talking to me and showing me options and made sure we were in agreement. Got so many compliments!

    Love Lilly I fly or drive from Louisiana to see my family in North Miami and I always book @ The Changing Room with Lilly over the years! The color, the conversations, the hospitality makes this place look good. It’s nice, clean, and the bathrooms are always perfectly nice and clean which I appreciate tremendously. The owners are clearly very attentive and professional. I finally leave with my blowout & look like a MILLION Bucks 😉

    Everyone go in and look for woman with short hair (around ear length), hair to the side and a few blonde highlights in the front. Luckily I found a photo of her back from a google review.She did an amazing job on my bangs!!! I forgot her name sadly to add on this review, but I was so worried about even getting my bangs done due to so many bad experiences at different salons. However, not only was she super sweet and friendly, but she asked me a nice amount of questions to make sure she did what I wanted done. She didn’t assume what I wanted and just cut most of my hair hoping she would get it right. Instead she took her time, demonstrated what she would cut and would slowly cut away, asking again if I would be comfortable wanting more gone or leave it as it is.The whole overall experience was amazing. I’m located in the West Coast and definitely would fly back just to make sure she does anything to my hair that I would want done!!

    My son is very picky about how he likes his hair and he loves the way Alejandra listens to him and cuts his hair. He is so happy with his new haircut! In the past other stylists don’t listen and have cut too much off or cut it different than he wants. But not Alejandra!

    I have never gone to a professional salon before, so this was a first time experience for me. But first of all, the receptionist (whose name I unfortunately didnt catch) was lovely and very informative when I called during my search for a salon to do my hair at.Scheduling the appointment was easy and the receptionist gave me a recommendation on which stylist has handled curly hair best when it came to cutting and styling and she recommended Sabrina.Sabrina is awesome! Shes very detailed and patient (as I have a lot of hair and its thick) and my hair came out amazing! I hadnt been too sure what style or color I wanted my hair to be, i just knew I needed a change. Sabrina gave me suggestions that were along the lines about my original ideas while also keeping in mind the health of my hair. My hair doesnt feel dry by any means and it hasnt had any breakage. I highly recommend! Heres the before and after.

    I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and i absolutely love it. Not only is the staff incredibly welcoming, helpful, efficient, they treat you like family. I’ve never had a cut, color, blow dry, or keratin treatment I was unhappy with. Kimberly has always been my stylist but everyone is talented and knowledgeable. They also helped me with donating my hair when I cut it short and made it incredibly simple and easy for a great cause. ABSOLUTELY recommend!!

    Daniella is amazing! She was on time to my appointment (even saw me a little early). She didnt take other clients while my color was processing. I hate that. She kept fun conversation the whole time and my color came out AMAZING! Better than I expected. I have been eyeing this color for years and have been stocking Daniellas Instagram for awhile. I am so happy that I chose her to do this for me because she made all my Rose dreams come true. I love it. The salon was nice and clean and all the employees were extremely friendly.

    Adara is great! Ive been there a few times for makeup and hair, each time Im left so happy with the everything. We did a whole color correction from blue to red and blonde and the change is amazing. Plus the condition of my hair has never been better! Definitely recommend.

    Im a DIY girl. Only had three or four real salon haircuts my whole life. Also my hair is thinning and I have major cowlick.. At 60, Ive never colored my hair. So I needed someone to work with all that and not have to pay over $100 for a simple trim.Adara did an amazing job. She was absolutely positive, polite, professional, and very helpful with products and help with my thin fine straight hair.She gave a perfect cut & didnt try to upsell or talk me into coloring my hair like most people try.Looks much better than bad photo

    Loved the experience and my stylist Leah fixed and completely changed my damaged hair !!!     My primary residence is in Austin, however, for 15+ years, I have relied on this very good hair salon in N. Miami to execute my hair color vision with clarity.The salon is busy, popular and has an abundance of satisfied customers because it is well managed, uses good products and has a low turn-over among its stylists.Before the pandemic, many popular hair stylists had worked here for many years and they rarely quit, therefore, management had a great history of retaining stylists. You wont see clients stacked upon one another or stylists over booked. I am always on schedule when I arrive and leave. My stylist Jenny is an expert with color and cut. Highly recommend.

    I’ve been visiting The changing room salon since 2019. I do hair treatment, haircuts, color every month, and sometimes blow dry. The service is amazing.. The products they use are of high quality.. I’ve tried many stylists that work there and they are all good and professional.. The front desk ladies are very welcoming and helpful.. I even buy hair products like shampoo and conditioner and my hair love it so much.. I highly recommend it for everyone if u wish to take care of yout hair and pamper yourself ❤️❤️

    I love The Changing Room Salon, it is absolutely the best place to get whatever you need done to your hair! Recently, Adara did a touch up to cover my gray and she did a great job. That was followed up by a cut and blow dry with Pope, another great job done. Of course I left the Salon looking like million bucks!!     I haven’t cut my hair in years. I decided to today. Didn’t realize salons were hard to get taken care of. Went to 5 others that were booked before I happened upon this place.     From the moment you walk in you feel welcomed.Naya at the front desk greeted me right away and let my stylist Stephanie know I was there. she was on time and took me right away, we talked about what I wanted and my hair concerns . we did my color and had great conversation she even told me what products would be good for me and then I got my hair washed (MY FAVORITE PART). After my color (which came out perfect) then came my haircut and blow-dry with Adara, she was such a nice outgoing girl. I am always nervous getting haircuts but she cut exactly what I wanted!I have gotten my cut with Karla before as well and she was amazing!I would 100% recommend the changing room to everyone i know! I drive 45 mins from Weston because they are THAT GOOD!

    Definitely trustworthy and experienced hair stylist here. As a 22 yo I’m very picky and have had bed experiences in the past. Kimberly gave me an experience that brought tears. She was vocal with each of her ideas and decisions to cut. They are professional here and will go to lengths to make you as comfortable as possible.     Both my daughter and I have enjoyed this salon for the excellent staff, cuts, and color we have always received. Unfortunately, last week we went and I received one of the worse haircuts I have ever gotten. It was not with our usual stylist, nevertheless, all the stylists should be well trained before doing a simple haircut.     Excellent experience, as always, with Kim. She understands hair and commits to cutting your hair the way you ask. I still like the layered look from the 80s, showed her a picture, and she did it. Ive had my hair pretty much that same style for decades, yet somehow, Kim manages to give it a modern flair. Im also not into chatting while doing my hair and Kim respects that I dont. Also, love the Changing Room place itself: friends and clean. Many if the stylists have been there for many, many years and for good reason - its a great place to work. Like many women, Ive tried other places to do my hair. Every time someone ruined my hair, Id run back to the Changing Room to fix it it. Finally, I realized why go anywhere else?     I did a grey fade for my hair and a trim. Everything was great except for how long I had to be there.. but to be fair the stylist did warn me on my consultation. I would have to make another visit for the orange parts that didnt take the bleaching well because of the box dye I used months earlier.     I am a New Yorker that was in town for Rolling Loud the 3 day hip hop festival. It’s way too hot to wear your hair down, and after the first two days I desperately needed someone to braid my hair. On Sunday I called several different salons and none of them had anyone who could do french braids. I was so grateful able to get an appointment here. When I arrived everyone was so kind and welcoming. Adriana was amazing. Really relaxing shampoo, braided my hair so nicely and it did not hurt one bit.     I was initially referred to the changing room by my sister-in-law. Her and her family have been using the salon for their services for many years. The first time I visited the salon I was going with Maria who is the most kind and sweet and talented woman. She performed beautiful haircuts and color. When I decided I wanted tape in hair extensions they referred me to Stephanie, and she has been amazing. Stephanie is an incredibly talented artist. She has been doing the most beautiful color and tape in extensions on me for over a year now. She was responsible for getting my hair in top wedding shape. She is super sweet and accommodating to me. I am so happy that I found the salon. I bring my husband here and he gets his haircut and his eyebrows waxed. Everyone in the salon is very kind and accommodating from the moment I walk in. You could tell she knew what she was dealing with right away. I had 2 salons mess up my hair prior to coming here. Jenni was able to do a color correction on my hair and also create a beautiful ombre look that I wanted. My hair never looked so great. The lady (I didnt catch her name) that shampooed my hair several times was also very kind and informative when I asked about several products and other salon-type questions. She always mixes the perfect color, cuts my hair in a way that frames my face while keeping the volume, and is super sweet. Parking is easy and they have coffee. Daniella (the stylist) came and spoke with me about what I wanted done to my hair. I needed some color to tone down my bright hair.     Rosa did my highlights today. I have a baby hair and you have to be very careful not to overburn it. Rosa really knows how to take care of my hair type. I really got lucky with her. My highlights came out perfect, just like I wanted!Lo did my hair cut. I wanted my hair to look healthier and didnt really know how much should I cut. I wanted to keep it long, yet cut some off to get that health and volume. I let Lo to see and advise on the cut and I love it. She did awesome job!In general I like how organized they were. Not only are they rated in the top 200 salons in the country for yet another year, they are also VERY FAIRY PRICED. Ive called many salons pricing around in the area an they wanted almost double for the same services! I thought maybe it was just inflated Miami prices so I asked friends who do hair in other parts of the country and in the world and they said they charge about the same as the other places in Miami charge so not only are they fairly priced for Miami, they are fairly priced period. Ive been going to Changing Room for 5 yrs. They use quality, non damaging products and their customer service is impeccable. Everyone is friendly and in a good mood. The positive vibe is simply contagious. Its a fun, hip, funky spot and not a prissy salon. If youre looking for a hair cut but dont want a millimeter more than you ask for cut off, have Daniella L. cut your hair. If you want funky colors, a shade that goes perfect with your skin tone or something unique, have Silvia A color your hair. If you want icy platinum blonde that is lighter then the rest can get it, ask for Stephanie D. One of the best things about this place is that they are all hourly meaning they dont work on commission so there is no competition and they never take offence if you want to try out different stylists. They dont pressure you to buy any products either but there are some for sale there should you want any. They have been in business for almost 40 years and I can say why.     Just got my hair cut at the salon 1-10-17 at 2:00 pm . I called to make an appointment and Amanda the receptionist was able to accommodate me within 30 minutes from when I called which was great. I was a new client. She recommended a hair stylist LO. LO presented herself to me when I arrived very professional. She guided me to her chair and sat me down and consulted with me before she did anything. What kind of cut would you like. Lo was knowledgeable about the style of how to cut the hair, in relation to my face. I was impressed. She paid attention to how I wanted the side burns cut and how I wanted the back cut and the sides. She was very careful and meticulous she took her time to make sure the style and look was perfect.     Was welcomed by the manager even thought I went without appointment. She suggested Rosa for color and Rosa understood what I wanted. She was patient and listened (priceless) It was my first time and was impressed by the nice atmosphere of the place. The girl who washed my hair (Rosa called her Shakira) was extremely nice. Very happy and look forward to my next visit.

    I recently came in for the first time and had the most amazing experience. Everyone was so professional and I loved the vibe in the salon. I got a color and cut done by Stephanie...my hair looks phenomenal and I will definitely be coming back. She made me feel like a million bucks

    I love, love, love the Changing Room. Ive had my hair done by Daniella, Dani, Karla, and Katlyn and all have been superb. I have gone from vibrant hair colors in my hair for over 4 years and my hair is still healthy and shiny, even when returning to my natural color. Karla is my go-to for color and she is a wizard! She is able to take what I poorly describe and transform it in to a masterpiece. Katlyn is excellent with those shears and blowouts. These women are all so kind and so professional, I have referred several friends to visit the salon. Even though I have moved from the area, I still fly down to Miami for the team to do my hair. 10/10 recommend!

    I was recently at the salon and had the pleasure of being attended by Bridget. She was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I came in for a change of color and she left my hair silky and shiny! The color was just what i asked for! I was very hesitant to let anyone touch my hair because I was aiming for a specific color that I was not sure was achievable with my hair type but Bridget knew just what to do! Thank you!

    After 2 years of not doing my hair I have become bored and unmotivated to do anything with it,that feeling immediately changed when I walked through these doors. This salon brought life back to my hair thanks to Adara. The stylist I had, Adara understood what I wanted for my hair and cut it the way I had pictured it in my head, which is such a rarity to find especially since I developed a fear of trust with people when it comes to cutting my hair from past experiences. Highly recommend this professional, team motivated and very clean hair salon!!!

    Very professional and excellent service. Daniela is just amazing. She is very straightforward. I told her what I want it she made it a reality. My hair just beautiful. Is not a regular hair color. Is pink with purple and the result... JUST WOW! Received many compliments. The prices arent out of this world either. I will definitely continue going to Daniela.

    I am a regular client at The changing room and everytime I come in this salon I am really impressed. The staff are very friendly and professional. Nicole is my hair stylist and She is excellent! I have had issues with my hair in the past at other salons since I have platinum blonde hair which is hard to get without brassy tones and she does my hair just the way I like it every single time. I personally think it is extremely important to find a professional hair stylist that will take the time to listen to what you want and like. I also love the fact that Nicole has an Instagram page @soglam_bysilvers where I am able see all the other styles and new things she does on a daily basis. Overall I believe the changing room Deserves 5 stars from the customer service to the services they provide.

    I loved everything about The Changing Room. The service was excellent. The haircut was reasonable and affordable. They really ask you everything, about how you want your haircut to how you feel when washing your hair. Definitely will come back again and bring other customers here as well.

    I was a stylist in another salon in what seems like a lifetime ago, so for the most part I color my own hair. However since Im a mom to a not-so-little, little kid, I find it hard to cut my own hair without losing my place every time *someone* needs a refill in their sippy cup. This is where this establishment comes in. Today was my second time here and once again, from the moment I walk in, Im greeted by multiple smiling faces from the reception area. It seems the salon itself is always busy, which is a great sign. I arrived about 15 minutes early to my appointment for just a cut with Daniella. I was asked to wait in the seating area to await my turn. I sat and had the opportunity to feast my eyes on the beautifully arranged selection of products and offerings displayed. I noticed, too late, that there was a fresh pot of coffee and all that goes with it. Had I not been so anxious about my appointment I probably wouldve grabbed some. Alas, any commentary on thatll be for the next review. Finally it was my turn; Daniella sat me in her chair and we had a consultation. I told her what I wanted, showed her a few pictures and gave a few examples of the look I was trying to achieve, and not only did she fully understand my rambling, but she took her time, double and triple checked the pictures I had, and her execution of said cut was exactly what I would have hoped for. I will be coming back, and Ill be sure to try the coffee!

    This salon is well run and it is laid out in a customer friendly way except for one thing. They is no place for customers to sit except right by the front door. Normally this would be alright, but not when your hair is up and looks like a nightmare from the color that is being applied at the time. I dont really want to sit by the front glass door for all to see when I am in that process. The staff however are very courteous and eager to make sure you have anything you need. The prices are a bit steep, and some of the stylist are way too creative for the mainstream. They seem to trend toward eclectic fashions in cuts and unique hair coloring. The waxing (eyebrows) however is the best and most complete service I have ever received for shaping and cleaning them up though! I recommend this place, just be careful f the extreme hair cuts and the way the price adds up for every little service, wash, blowdry, comb out whatever it can turn a touch up appointment into a couple hundred dollars very quickly.

From the moment you walk in until the time you leave you are taken care of by a great bunch of professionals who make you feel heard and very well taken care of.     The Changing Room is by far the best salon in Miami and possibly Florida. The team are very polite, friendly and professional from the telephone appointment through to the moment you leave looking great. My stylist is Britney, who is brilliant at what she does.     One of my young students donated her hair to Locks of Love at a Cancer Walk and Nicole from The Changing Room cut her hair. She was kind, patient, and triple checked with my student and her mother. She gave me two gift certificates for my daughters (4 and 9 years old) to get their hair cut. The salon was so clean and everyone so NICE it was like we stepped into an alternate universe. Lo and Nicole cut their hair (thick, curly, and long), which is not an easy task. They set my girls at ease, made them giggle, and gave them beautiful haircuts. I was so happy, I let the girls get their nails done and so did I. The manicurists did a great job and were kind and pleasant to my girls. Sira (sp?) waxed my eyebrows and they are just the way I like them. For us, it was a 5 star experience and my daughters are begging to go back! Thanks to everyone at The Changing Room!

She is hands down the best stylist I have ever gone to and that is saying alit because I am 48 years old. The staff at The Changing Roon is awesome as well.     Even though I had originally booked a morning appointment through the app, due to a glitch, they couldn’t find it in their system but they were still able to accommodate me later that day. The customer service is above and beyond. Stef is also hands down the best stylist I’ve ever had - she’s great with color, cuts, styling…there’s literally nothing she can’t do!

    What can I say. I went in with red hair, and came out as a beautiful grey with blonde undertones, a rockin hair cut, and most importantly, no damage to my hair. The staff was courteous and cordial from the moment I walked in the door until the moment I walked out. I received an actual letter in the mail thanking me for my service! I cant suggest a better salon to visit if youre in the area! Daniella is stellar with crazy colours, so if youre looking for anything from crazy green to silver (which Ill be doing very soon), ask for her!

    Made this appointment cause my hairstylist retired . When I walked in it was large with lots of stations . I had an appointment for a dye,cut and blowout. Rosa was my colorist and Jennifer was the lady who will cut and blowout . Totally went beyond my expectations. My color was amazing . It was more than I bargained for and my cut and blowout were perfect exactly what I asked for.The place I tried before this place never got the color and cut right and they would burn.my scalp while blow drying it. I thought my hair would frizz up because Jennifer didnt burn my scalp. I was wrong with all this rain my hair still looks beautiful and shiny . Another plus is when u have ur appointment you are their priority. You dont have to wait for someone else to get done while you wait your turn. So happy I found this place .     The Changing Room, what a perfect name. I cant say enough about Adara. I decided to go because its been about eight months. The minute I met this girl, I knew I was in the right place. She completely changed my look. No is not in her vocabulary. No one sits still. These girls are constantly cleaning, wiping down everything, great vibe in here. Very friendly atmosphere. If youre looking for a salon, this is the one. Adara and The Changing Room is it for me!!
